Here we go again  ... let's bring this thread up again.

We are not giving up hope that we will get a new merit source for our local board in particular.

There are just no new merits arriving - I myself would also like to distribute significantly more, but that's not possible because you can hardly get any yourself....
A never ending vicious circle 

It's already noticeable that something is missing and I think @bullrun2020bro is just the right person.
If you look at which boards he is actively writing on the side, u will notice that he does not limit himself to certain areas.
His merits are also always fairly distributed.

It's only under @theymos control that if he wish to add another merit source at this or not because according to me there are 110 sources at this time and many applications are pending for some local boards as well.So whenever he finds it suitable and get the time to work upon it and evaluate the application he will do the needful as we can only support @OP or others so that more merits circulate the forum in fair manner but last decision is his.

Yeah u are right.

It is also absolutely correct that the final decision lies with @theymos.
Our job is done: there is an application, dozens of votes that support this application. We can't do more - now it's time to sit back and wait!

Nevertheless, I think its fine to "push" the application quietly. Not all of the 110 merit sources have been active for a long time and this is clearly noticeable on our local board.
That's why a restructuring is conceivable - and that means valuable time and is certainly not as easy to do as simply adding a merit source.

I can fully support bullrunbro's application. He is not only a very valued member of the German forum area but also provides very valuable information internationally .

The number of merits sent in the German area stands and falls of course with (active) merit sources. One of our main sources, qwk, has unfortunately been inactive for a long time and therefore has to let his sMerits expire regularly. This is not only a pity because of the expired sMerits but also mainly because of qwk's contribution quality and the very interesting and profitable discussions with him. Personally, I was able to learn a lot from him, not only bitcoin-technically, but I also learned for life, eg. how to discuss in forums in an appreciative and meaningful way.

So it would be great if we could win bullrunbro as an additional source in our forum area!

I'm wondering if this thread has already gotten the attention of @theymos or if it is been totally lost so far.
It is really a shame that u really don't hear anything about it. Whether u are qualified and it might be rolled out in batches or whether u completely fell through the cracks...

so if nobody will make you to a merit source, we should spend all our merits to you to point out a little bit more attention and mayby somone get a green light on.

I also support bullrun2020bro's application because the guy is truly a wonderful member of the forum. I haven't personally been to German local board but I can say that someone like bullrun2020bro deserves to be a merit source because his intentions are pure and he will help the members of the German local board member and their posts with the Smerits he gets after getting selected as a merit source. I hope that @theymos will consider the application of bullrun2020bro's because our forum really need new merit sources and reputed members like bullrun2020bro can send merits to the posts that deserve to get merited.

I support you, even though I don't really know you but you have the proper qualifications to become a source of merit in the forum from what I noticed about you sir.

But it seems that there are indeed some who are your rivals to become a source of merit, so I think @theymos are still paying attention to the prospects that you are doing so that they meet the standards desired by themmos to become a source of merit in the forum.
Waiting is indeed a pain, but there really is no other way around this, keep on contributing to get attention from theymos, hopefully you get what you wish for to be more useful to people in the forum.

Surprisingly there is never any update here, how come?
