I think it's fine to promote Bitcoin as a revolutionary technology and as a convenient medium of exchange. Or in some forums it could be appropriate to talk about the properties Bitcoin has as a store of value. But I think it's inappropriate to talk about buying bitcoins, this leads to ponzi accusations immediately and for good reason. Even a small hint about where one can buy bitcoins can ruin it.

So it's very important to not tell people that they should buy coins or where to buy coins, let them make that leap themselves if they believe bitcoins are something worth buying. Then if they ask how, one can answer.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

well, i'm taking the strategy of heading out to other popular sites to post about Bitcoin.  signed into SBRforum.com (Sportsbooks), made some bullish statements and woke up today being banned forever from the site.  interesting...
hehe.
but to give us the full picture, I think you should try again - this time giving them some bearish statements Smiley

I mentioned something about oil sands on Max Keiser Report page on facebook and got several childish rebuttals from "Max Keiser Report" and was subsequently banned from the page..

Who runs that page anyways.. if its actually Max Keiser, hes a bloody moron..

Well Max Keiser will ban you as a twitter follower for a single tweet with a polite message that is slightly contradictory to something he says - and that's definitely run by Max himself,
so I think he has a bit of a problem with dissent.

I was in shock how childish he was, his responses were that of a 8 year old, If this is what Max Keiser is about, I want nothing to do with it.  It was one response away from "Im rubber your glue...."

I pray that facebook group isnt run by him..  god help us all..

As a Canadian I was thoroughy insulted with his views on the oil sands and the pipeline.  His objection to the pipelines was that they are easy to bomb..I brought up the fact that tankers are easy to bomb too in international waters, his response was they cant get bombed because they are always moving..  Roll Eyes   Then he was spreading FUD about the oilsands, completely wrong info.

Are we sure we want this 12 year old stuck in a 45 year olds body being a figurehead for Bitcoin...  Im changing my views on this one..

The irony here is that the guys on that forum could place their sports bets on btcsportbook (my fave BTC betting site) for virtually
free and transact instantly with the BTC model.

I tried to sign up with regular online sportsbook sites and it's a nightmare to open an account, and they have huge fees to
withdraw your funds, and takes forever get your funds. With BTC its lightning fast.  These regular sport guys don't have
a clue.

I don't think Mr Gorbachev is going to "tear down this wall".

Think this is more a Patsy-Cline-in-a-Piper-Cub kind of mountain wall.

interestingly enough, anti-FUD aside, we still haven't broken the long-term trendline. a correction to $5.50 is the lowest we can go, and by my analysis this is more and more looking like a bottom.

this sentence has fifteen words, seventy-four letters, four commas, one hyphen, and a period.

Not to take anything away from your analysis, but we have heard this before. It might take selling a whole lot of coins to make it happen—but it can happen. An honest assessment of risks is generally more useful than misplaced optimism. As for myself, I go to great lengths to ensure that I am estimating risks as accurately as possible.

when i make predictions, it is obvious. i was making no prediction, as i agree that there is significant risk at this stage in the game. only commenting on trends... my benevolent advice? hedge both ways right now, until a stronger trend emerges.

but don't short... im not counting on sub-$5.00 BTC any time soon Cheesy
