I became Independent Because of Cryptocurrency

I know this is just silly story but I want to tell you that my bitcoin journey is not fascinating but here I want to tell.
In 2017 I started Bitcoin trading and also got skeptical in crypto. I lost too much much money but I got resilient. Cause I know that their is a future for me in this.
After late 2019 beacsue I took admission in university and now I am  independent and I do not need Money from my parents and that's good for me. I started making Money from crypto. I am And that was joy for me. Now I am making 100 dollars plus form crypto. That is enough for me.

Congratulations for your achievement and for not giving up when you were losing money in bitcoin. I am happy you are independent and also able to make ends meet with bitcoin. I assume that you have studied and mastered the market over your years of loses and that is why you are able to make money even in the bear market.

I don't know the country you live, if $100 can do many things in this era of recession. I will advice you double your efforts and try to earn more because $100 may not be as enough as you think.

many of the kids in the 2021 bull run feels independent when they were playing Axie infinity earning $5000 a month. the party goes on every night with champagnes and then the music stops, everybody quits playing and back to asking mommy again.

It's great that you're now financially independent. But you might want to get your coins out of Binance, considering how exchanges these days are falling left and right. You don't want to lose all that hard-earned money, now do you?

My suggestion is to save up for a hardware wallet and the move your coins there.

I won't lie, crypto has given me independence and changed my life. Though I lost money trading, I did earn a decent amount of cryptocurrency from other sources such as campaigns and marketing. Some holdings performed well, while others disappointed me. However, the overall position in cryptocurrency is good. You just have to be cautious and learn a lot if you want to make money in the crypto space. Because there are a lot of shit tokens around us and a lot of scammers seeking into our funds. If you are starting to see and benefit the potential of bitcoin, then good for you since it’s certainly a great start. Now that you are already making money, even if we say it’s not something big, but at least you are now in profits. Because cryptocurrency gives you financial freedom and can also be a source of income, even though sometimes it sucks from the loss that has been obtained, but that doesn't matter, in fact, you have gotten out of your parents' grip financially and can be independent.

Overall even though I am a worker and also run a small business but the income from crypto is still flowing this is in addition especially in 2017 and 2021 is bullish which is true they will definitely benefit greatly from it, there I can build a small palace for my family.

I had a somewhat similar start with Bitcoin. I was also a teenager when I was first involved in cryptocurrencies and didn't have the ability to purchase because I was under 18. I didn't have any special skills, nor was I participating in a signature campaign. However, I managed to acquire some BTC through faucets, which were quite pointless back in 2014 but worth a decent sum of money in 2017 and were sold for a decent profit then. I slowly acquired more knowledge and entered a signature campaign, from which I was earning a semi-decent sum of money per month.

Unfortunately, I abandoned the forum in 2018 and returned somewhere between late 2020 and early 2021. I can't say that I'm independent because of Bitcoin, but I can certainly claim that it has helped me acquire financial freedom.

@OP, congratulation in finding Bitcoin to help you with your finances.  Bitcoin indeed helps a lot of people gain some financial independence.  I also know a person that was greatly helped by Bitcoin during his college days.  He is now a successful teacher working abroad.  His engagement in Bitcoin made him finance himself in college until he graduated last year.  His earnings from marketing and trading enable him to finance his requirements to go abroad and work there.  If I am not mistaken, he is currently working in UAE but despite the job, he is still active in Bitcoin trading.

The Bitcoin industry indeed gives opportunities to those who seek it.  There is no doubt that lots of us in this forum is aware of the great potential engaging ourselves to Bitcoin ecosystem.

I’m happy you didn’t give up even after a loss. Suffering a loss in crypto can be so heartbreaking I remember the first time I lost money trading futures, I was so down I couldn’t open a trade for about a month. That experience made me realize I won’t always be winning in the market some days I would get hit and lose, the best I can do is manage the risks, in my case being futures trading I always make sure to set my stop loss at a good point.

I know you're talking about earning your own money, and therefore don't require any help any more. Although, I think the important thing to highlight here is you've taken a step of actually owning your money, and not relying on third parties. The only thing about that, is the image you posted above an exchange or a wallet? I assume, it's an exchange, as long as you aren't storing your Bitcoin without owning the private key, and definitely don't share that private key with a third party.

However, I'm sure a lot of users here have found financial independence through Bitcoin, it provides opportunities that the traditional fiat system doesn't provide or at least there's less competition for offering services, which will eventually change.

It is a great feeling reading peoples testimonies about how bitcoin has shaped their life. New investors like me have already been given the opportunity with this bear market to invest in bitcoin. With little profit made. The next step is to diversify it to local businesses like holding agricultural produce for the upcoming recession. With the diversification one could DCA or do future trading under no pressure. The other business could spare as source of means.

I have a similar story, but all thanks to the force that would allow us give up, and speaking of that force, i personally would have given up on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies when I encountered my scam which made me loose every bit of penny I had then, but what kept me going was the hunger to do something different and the little fire the knowledge of bitcoin ignited in me.. Even though I lost my money, I still had this man in me that hungered to know more about this bitcoin of a thing - this was how I continued and today, I am glad I did not give up, bitcoin have given me a new kind of life and have provided opportunities for me in places where I never did thought I would find such opportunities.
All thanks to the genius in Satoshi Nakamoto, for giving the world a new kind of light and hope to many that would have today been hopeless.

Congratulation with your achievement trough still in university you can earn more than $100 and keep independent without need financial help from your parent, actually I am really shy with you because when I am taking admission in university still not independent yet and I need helped from my parent with financial. You have been freedom with financial right now and take saving half with your money without have to invest all.

I want to tell you that I am living in Pakistan, I know that is not rich but still it helps me very well. Cause here wages are almost less and also expenses. I also know that In United States 1000 dollars per month earnings is still poor. Here in our country at least 150 to 200 dollars earnings per month is good. But still I am trying to earn at least 200 dollars plus so that it might help my financials very well.

That’s a great start, congratulations. We can always benefit from crypto as long as we never think of quitting just because of initial losses. Of course, losing is inevitable in trading but that won’t mean that we will always keep on losing, we will gain rewards eventually after we finally learn how to be good traders. Just keep the momentum. Although the profits are not that big, but the fact that you keep on honing your trading skills, you will do great in the future. Break a leg!

To be fully independent, you’ve got to have a stable source of income as well as alternative sources where income flows in. You can’t just rely on a single source(bitcoin in your case) to be fully independent.
While I can fully relate to what you’re talking about being independent cause of bitcoin, I would advise you to remember to diversify on your income and only then would you be fully independent and not have to rely on your parents anymore for anything. I wish you success on your road towards independence.

Nowadays very few start from the scratch whereas the majority invest big and try to make the best out of it. This is highly risky, but here OP have experienced from the scratch and the same will serve as a big learning for him to take right decisions with cryptocurrency. Based on what he have added to the thread, since his loss years back he believed in it and have worked on it. Finally success is being tasted. Believe in bitcoin and it won't let you down.
