It's just happened that PH is one of the host countries of FIBA World Cup 2023 but it's not automatically that Gilas will face Team USA.

Technically speaking, there is no draw yet, it will be held next year, it just that the team USA was just assigned to play in the Philippines either in MoA or Araneta Col. So team USA vs Philippines is not sure yet but it is not impossible to happen if and only if PH team will dominate the game and got a chance to world's bests including USA.

About the ticket fees, well, expects it will be higher since this is a world cup than those typical PBA match, but not so expensive. Or the association will probably face a slap from the public.

I also expect higher prices for each ticket but not that expensive based on the prices shown by OP, Filipinos themselves will hardly afford it but only big businessmen will do. However, if this event will turn into reality, I guess it will also be a great privilege for Filipino players to have a match with the US team. Im not really that surprised with those ticket prices specially if this event comes to be the first in history then pretty sure that there would be people who would took a loan just to see out their idols playing out.

Also its not necessary that would really be purchasing that lower box premium entry but rather you do with that Category 5, if you could shell out more money to be in the closer sight

Even if that is expensive, I’m pretty sure the arena will be sold out and many will watch the game live. This is indeed a great opportunity to watch them live, and probably have a chance to take a picture with them. Playing against Gilas probably will be their easiest game but it doesn’t matter to many as long as the USA team will be composed of NBA players, it will be more worth it. Can’t afford this kind of ticket though, will just watch on tv and cheer for both teams.

If we do base up on standard of living and economic situation plus those standard wages then those in minimum would really be considerable but on that max or most expensive ones are sitting around 2-3 months salary amount on Game 1 and on that Game 3 would be sitting around a year salary of a certain individual which  does really simply says and shows that the ones who would be buying those
top spots are those big businessman or something does have the financial power and capacity.It isnt really worth on spending that big for a show

Agreed, the discussion is about the USA team and things have got moved on different direction.

In the FIFA World Cup it is not the people from Qatar alone. People who have been agonizing to watch World Cup football got an opportunity, so many from the neighbouring countries made a visit as it is affordable. The same can't reach USA for the upcoming football World Cup and bear the expenses.

Same as that it is not about the Philippines people, we'll see good number of viewers from outside the country. For them reaching Philippines and spending won't be big compared to the first world countries. So, it is not about the ability of the pinoy. It is an opportunity for pinoy and for the people around Philippines .

FIBA gets most of it's gate collection from the remaining 30% seats, which are more expensive compared to the other categories. So you can't force them to make these categories (Cat1 to Cat4) cheaper. If I am not wrong, for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 the ticket prices were much higher (cheapest tickets were around $20 per match). And even for this world cup, the cheapest package for the matches in Japan start at ¥75,000 ($564).

I confess that I had not realized the ticket prices above.
I carried out a quick analysis, and I confess that the values may be a little bit expensive, perhaps due to the salaries that some Filipinos have or even
because they have a currency of their country that is not "very strong", compared to a developed country.

Well, I also agree, I believe that, if the tickets are a little bit expensive, I have no doubt that they could sell out quickly, because as already mentioned, this will be an unprecedented event and we cannot know precisely when will Philipinas hold another event of great magnitude like this one.

From 2k to 23k? I know that the Gen Ad will be at the top and you really can't see it well in the court though there's a big screen there but it is really expensive to watch it even in the upper box and yet they will charge you around 23k that's really ridiculous I'll just watch on the TV and just place bet online instead of wasting it on a seat where I won't be able to fully see it and just watching only on the screen too.
