For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
it was already a global currency but it was only a crypto so it was a digital currency and it was good for us it was a same like a true currency.

Yes right, I hope so, although it takes a long time but I hope that someday bitcoin will be made into global currency, because from any side bitcoin is better and easier to use everybody than it should depend on the banks forever.

The BTC is a "global wide use, free, instantaneous transfer, no superfluous" currency. It is the result of the natural evolution of the monetary system and the inevitable outcome of meeting the global social and economic development.

This is the historical significance of the digital currency represented by bitcoin.

Yes true, it can be said that bitcoin is becoming a global currency, everyone from various countries is free and easy to trade with bitcoin so it only takes recognition from many countries to make bitcoin is international currency.

bitcoin already its a global currency, but there not have a global adoption of the coin, the major of holders are speculating and only in this year we see situations like the aprovation in japan and australia and malta etc. as well.

It is. You can use it anywhere in the world - just get the Intenet connection. if you have Bitcoins in your wallet, you can use them for many things, and this is cool.

Bitcoin is becoming more popular though not as rapid as expected this very moment because if its value drop but it has covered a long distance. Many countries are using Bitcoin now irrespective of their government involvement, but Dollars is the world most used currency.

I wont say bitcoin is becoming a global currency but it is getting more recognized by everyone in the world.

At this moment, with the drop in price, a lot of people are worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto but soon the confidence in bitcoin will be back.

In the future, we will see cryptos becoming an asset that everyone globally wants to own.

Bitcoin should only be included in the investment list, we should not have the thought of turning it into a currency, that just makes us disadvantageous when the government will pay more attention to Bitcoin. The government will not let the bitcoin threaten their currency, they will prevent and block all issues related to bitcoin, we will be in trouble, bitcoin does not have enough conditions to become global currency, it's like now is still better

The strengthening of exchange rate and the position of virtual currency Bitcoin in monetary transactions on the internet make it digadang will be a global currency, This is due to the increasing number of transactions without face to face from all people in various parts of the world. We believe Bitcoin could be the global currency as the largest payment instrument for e-commerce and may be a serious contender for traditional money changers. As a medium of exchange, Bitcoin can certainly grow and become a global currency

LOL, international currency means Bitcoin must support all transaction of the people on many countries. Do you know the Bitcoin system have not enough capacity to do that? Never, I am sure Bitcoin never become the international currency until its system can support few trillion transactions every day.

I agree with this statement. Moreover, the world needs such currency - it's very difficult to do something with all these currencies and constantly changing rates.

Volatility will be eliminated once everything will be regulated, we are decentralized and suppose to be free from any government interference
but what is happening now is not based on our expectation. Since the market is free, it is also very risky so more people are losing money as they
treat bitcoin as an investment and we know we have a lot of scams here and if one will not study hard, he might be victim of scam.

Indeed, there's no doubt that with the popularity of btc makes it a currency now. Maybe due to it's ease of access for the people and the value that it has. It is becoming a Global Currency, however, if people will focus on btc the currency that they used to have will have no sense or vice versa. Let's face it, bitcoin might be used in different countries in there transactions. But what if btc loses it's value? Will the dependents on btc still have there life back in the way it was before? Btc is still a good way of transaction but it cannot be a concrete currency.

It is not news anymore if Bitcoin would eventually be a global currency. Based from the widespread, it seems possible that someday it would be open to everyone. Due to the benefits it can give, people would really indulge in having this currency. We just have to ensure that the effects of this currency to the economy will not be a negative one.

Well bitcoin will never replace fiat but this is not a problem. For new entrants to buy bitcoin, existing holders has to sell. As more people invest in bitcoin more distributed the wealth will be.
