I am happy that this request has been brought for our local board. I request the @OP to continue this thread so that the efforts and performance of each month continue here. And @theymos see something better in us somehow so that they give us our local board. I am briefly describing the merit summary of the month of madness here and after that I will also introduce the post summary here so that this thread is running again and our request is accepted. Along with this, I will introduce it with each month so that the performance of each month can be seen here. Along with this, I also request @shahzadafzal sir, to help me in this work and give me the courage to do something for my board and at the same time keep increasing my courage.

We are trying hard for our local board and try to grow every month. But sometimes we see ups and sometimes downs, but we have a lot of members who increase or decrease their strength every month. Among them are qurbanshah02, JunaidAzizi, who have been making good and hard-working posts for a long time and come to the top every time. I had shared the merit summary of those and today I am sharing the post summary. We are a little less than last month but we are slowly trying to move forward.

Apart from this, I am also sharing the performance of each board, in which I will first tell about April in which our board i.e. Pakistan was at number 8 but the better performance of the month of May in which we posted a number of 846 and with this better effort we came at number 4. This time the competition has not come out yet, as soon as it comes, I will present it here so that we all become aware of it. I know @theymos will not be very happy with such performance right now but I and my community will make every effort to improve ourselves and get our local board. @shahzadafzal sir I hope that as you have given me courage, we will continue to do the same in the future and my little request is that some activity should be done here so that people's tendency will come towards us.

Wow, I see you still have hope. 😊 I appreciate that many of us are still hoping to get our own local board one day.

To be honest, I think we still lack the number of active users. Somehow, we need to reach around 100+ active users per month. That would make our case much stronger.

However, our activity is already comparable to several existing local boards, and in some cases even higher.

We've already seen what happened with the Nigerian community. After they received their own local board, participation increased severalfold.

I believe the same would happen with the Pakistan community. Having our own board would encourage more discussions, attract inactive Pakistani members, and motivate new users to participate.

You obviously lack something, otherwise theymos would already made you a local board, but whatever it is, I don't think that problem is in pure numbers. If you compare your numbers with the one from Nigerian board before they got their local board, you will see that they didn't need 100+ users or 1k posts per month.

Do you think the admin is interested in anything now in 2026? I mean, the board software is so outdated. It is still living on patches, and legends like you are constantly working hard to solve simple data issues that could be resolved if the forum software were updated. Regardless of asking for a new board, in 2026, I feel the forum should be updated to the new version SMF 2.1.7.

We are in a time when AI is starting to learn how humans use the Internet and software. This is the time to upgrade the platform. This new version can perform source code modifications. A new version.  It has been too long for this forum, which has one of the biggest traffic and registered users, to get a new, updated platform for interaction.

It is my suggestion to you as one of the most certified legends of this forum.

Well done. You did a great job by reviving this thread at my request. We guys forget the motive that we should keep this thread active in the hope that sooner or later, the admin will grant us our separate board. Hopefully, those days are not so far when Pakistan will also have its separate board. Because talking in the same thread, sometimes we miss a lot of updates, and it also distracts many from staying on the same topic discussion that one has already started. So, I think having a local thread is kinda a mess from my point of view.

Hmm, your suggestion sounds good to me.
I can be wrong, but I personally think that no one would have PM'd the admin regarding this matter. And if I am right, then I request Shahzadafzal brother to talk about this matter with the admin via PM, maybe we can get a good solution for this matter.

You have strong points. One of the best things, which is lacking, is its language mostly members are using English words, and no one is interested in Urdu. This is most important for having a local board, even if no one is trying to do something for this as well.

After this second point a few years back when the forum had a Nigerian board, a few members sent PMs to @Cyrus and @theymos. There was no response from @theymos, and @Cyrus sent a reply with small content. This is not under his control.

Even I am personally in favor of this board, but I also feel as a community many things are missing, which are preventing us from having our own board. These are needed to be done before having a green signal otherwise, it's all just a waste of time.

Having enough members has never been guaranteed; having a board with good and knowledgeable members with good technical skills is much better.

We have now tried to introduce our performance of each month here, which will increase our chances of getting our local board and theymos will take a look this time, although it is not very free, but still they will give us a little time, which will make them happy with us. @shahzadafzal, @Irfan_Pak10, @Themepen, @Hamza2424, @CryptoYar These are the big guys of our board, if they also try together, we can achieve a lot. This is a very good idea and if @shahzadafzal and @Irfan_Pak10 try to send a PM to theymos, I think we might get to see something. Who knows, they might give us some good advice so that we can improve ourselves in this. I request that shahzadafzal sir and Irfan_Pak10, you are our seniors, so take the time to talk to them, maybe we will get to see something.

Yes, the numbers alone may not represent the full picture. If we remember, the Nigerian board was being approved without the insane activity numbers, but most probably the consistency and quality plays an important role over the raw volume. And as far as the PMed is concerned, i don't think if he is not aware of the situation or haven't seen this thread bumped many times (that too in Meta), but the only thing that may come up is that he may reply as why he is not interested in giving the local board to this community

No, there is no difference because today is the 25th of August, and 582 posts already submitted by community members mean four culprits were not active enough on the local board; they were doing their business in gambling discussion threads.

Hopefully now in future things will be take change and members will try to have better understanding of rules and no one will try to do anything which increase problems for all community.
