People actually claim to be strong holders that can go against any situation wanting them to sell off some of their bitcoins. The strongest of holders do not just sell at the slightest economic discomfort I know, but I believe everybody has a threshold at which if the pressure surpasses them, they would break into the decision of selling some of their bitcoins to sort the present condition. What kind of situation do you think is enough to pressure you in seeling some of the bitcoins you have been holding. Is family or health challenge enough reason to?

I actually never thought I would sell my Bitcoin for urgent conditions.
Maybe I sound idealistic and overconfident, but I personally believe in bitcoin for my investment for the long term.
To be honest, I will continue to collect little by little until I collect a lot.
And waiting for Bitcoin to go to the next ATH and make a profit.

If it is due to an emergency such as health or urgent need, it is unlikely that I will sell my bitcoins.
Because I personally have prepared savings that I have set aside every month for emergency needs.

In a situation, when some of my relatives needs money for expensive operation, we dont have enough fiat money to cover expenses, without hesitation I would immediately sell crypto. In other words, life or death situation will force me to sell. And, probably, if I would run so much out of money, I would sell a bit of crypto just to survive until I find a solution.

Maybe that is fine if you're not entirely throwing your entire savings to Bitcoin. It's like those investments that you would just forget that you even invested to back then for no reason and it ended up to be a long-term investment. There would be an obvious point that you would sell. There is no market if everyone is just buying.

That's at least a reasonable way of managing the risk of not touching your Bitcoin over any unexpected outcomes in your daily life.

Some time when facing with unsupportive situation we have to sell Bitcoin and altcoin assets although have going drop, not have enouth fiat recovery for daily day needed make us have little option except have to sell cryptocurrency assets although possibility get loss more. I think lucky for every holder have enough back up with fiat and take longer time holding until Bitcoin and altcoin assets recovery to higher price.

I am still holding with my cryptocurrency assets right now and hope can recovery as soon possible, actually still not have force situation right now and keep patience waiting for Bitcoin and altcoin back to higher price.

When there is no income to fulfill the needs I have then it is the time to sell some of assets to have liquidity which includes bitcoin as well.

If bitcoin price soared too high than I have imagined will surely force me to sell all or a part from holding.

For emergency needs like healthcare or for something you need money immediately then bitcoin will also be in ny list because it can be liquified in minutes.

In any case, as long as I need money urgently and I don't have the option to make a loan, then of course I will sell a few percent of my holdings. Is this a problem? No, and I don't think so.

The main think is that all of us need money and in turn we may need to consider selling investment assets when we need it. As long as it doesn't sell on the dips, then I guess it's safe to sell some of it. But if at the same time my portfolio value drops, then I might need to consider other options. I have a few grams of gold, it could be my top choice instead of selling bitcoin on dips.

Presumably when Bitcoin reach 100× I may consider selling some that are if I know the price will decline below that, but aside from that, I will not sell any portion of my BTC holding no matter what happens I am among the steel hands holders.

Instead of selling off at any market turn, it's better to give you a Bitcoin starch long-term plan, let's say after 2027 I may have a change of mind and decide to sell off a few percentages but not up to 50% of my entire holding.

There are criteria where a person is forced to sell their Bitcoin holdings.

1.  If they don't have money and the last fund remaining is in Bitcoin
2.  When the target price is reached.
3.  When the holder wanted to cut losses especially when it is programmed in the trading bot
4.  When new ATH is recorded.

For me, apart from being in need of money for my health or that of my family members or friends. I don't think there is any other reason that can make me want to sell my Bitcoin in a haste, because one beautiful thing about the fluatuating nature about the Bitcoin market is that when it falls, it rises back at it's appropriate time.

There are many reasons why people might sell their valuable assets, including bitcoin. For example:

- Needing to liquidate some assets in order to pay off debts or purchase something important; or to meet other financial obligations.

- Someone might decide to sell their assets due to changes in their personal circumstances, such as a change in their financial situation, or a change in their interests or priorities.

- An investor may choose to sell assets if he believes the value is likely to fall or wants to take advantage of a hot market.

- Someone may decide to sell assets in order to diversify their portfolio and spread risk across multiple investments.

In the end, the decision to sell your precious possessions is a highly personal one, and should be based on your unique circumstances and financial goals. It's crucial to weigh the pros and cons of selling your assets and to seek out expert financial advice if you have any doubts or concerns. Or, you know, you could just flip a coin. That is always a solid investment strategy.  Wink

There are other ways to spend your money. But what about those who own little money? When he needs money urgently but they don't have gold like you to buy it and all his money will be deposited in his profit portfolio and his money will be less than before then he will not be able to withdraw money from there because he is already in loss and remain in loss situation No one will remove his money. What will be his way then?

If you have been responsible in the way you invest your money then only a true emergency could force you to sell some of your coins.

Now even if I consider myself a responsible person there are without a doubt scenarios which could force me to sell my coins, and the most likely of all of those possibilities would be some sort of medical emergency, after all there are many diseases which do not present symptoms until you are very ill, so if that we are to happen I will probably need to sell some of my bitcoin to get the best possible treatment I can.

Of course, there is no reason to keep bitcoin forever while our health is in trouble, our loved one is in danger, or in need of money. Bitcoin is the vehicle that serves our lives, we do not serve bitcoin. If I have financial difficulty and have no other way, I will not hesitate to sell my bitcoins to solve the problem or help my loved one. Bitcoin can be traded easily anywhere, anytime, as long as we have the money, so selling or holding bitcoin is not so important in difficult times.

I'm not sure, maybe in a positive way, when the price hits your target or way beyond your target, coz I know some strong hodlers may not be easily convinced to sell when they see Bitcoin continued to rise.
On the other side, the negative side, maybe a serious illness that requires expensive maintenance. You know life is more precious than any kind of asset in this world. The best thing these assets can do you. They're all gonna be useless FOR YOU, if you die anyway lol.

The stress of repaying the loan forced me to sell a little bitcoin. The stupidest thing I did as a novice the year before was to sell bitcoins in a panic and lose half of my principal.

When my investment continues to lose money, first look at what the market is doing. If I find that everyone is falling, or although the overall market is not bad, but all the selected sectors have fallen sharply, then my investment will suffer a loss or it is normal. In this case, everyone can be patient.

If my spare funds are depleted, I may sell a small amount of investment to obtain funds.

If we have been in the bitcoin world for a long time, I think we will be able to face great pressure, even though the losses we feel are getting bigger then we are more afraid to sell the bitcoins we have, because we are sure that for the next few years we will definitely experience another increase in the value of bitcoin, but if there are other pressures in the economic part then the pressure we feel must be different even we will find ways to deal with the problem including will sell all the assets we have.

Probably when something really life and death emergency situation happened ( I hope not to) that requires a lot amount of money, like a lot, then I will be force to sell some of my holdings rather than taking a loan from a bank, because that's the purpose why we save money, to have something to spend just in case something happens.

The truth is that, if you have any bitcoin you can sell it up to end a living, instead of staying idle and thinking of negative things, that's why I keep on thanking God for the knowledge of bitcoin that he gave to satoshi, if not for God, bitcoin won't have exist, in life we face a lot of things that if not of bitcoin, I don't know how life would have been, eg, there are so financial problems that came up when you don't have any money in your hand, and if not without the knowledge that God gave to satoshi, how would you have some money in your bitcoin to solve problems when it come up unexpected..

Emergency I guess? I'm still looking at Bitcoin as an investment so in general, I'd probably pull it out in the next bull run or after. I haven't exactly taken into consideration when I should start holding it for the sake of making my own bank or as a currency though(As I've said, I'm more invested in it as an investment right now), which would probably lead to a situation where I'm not going to be forced to sell unless used as a payment.

What I would not consider when selling is the price though, specifically if it goes down, since it may be an investment, but it's one where I'm capable of waiting for a long time (and I can afford to live without it as well).
