We cant control whoever who left here or those who spawn again. People come and go. Yes there are accounts who became inactive and some are born to join the forum. No wonder some left uncheck due to market and they also feels like hanging around might not be good for them but thats on them. People who actually like doing things or contributing here will always stay no matter how bored the forum is.

If there are people leaving there are more coming, many of those who left are into altcoin bounty campaigns and when they can hardly earn a decent amount they stop to log in or becoming active, and those who come in are latecomers in Cryptocurrency who are looking for more information about Cryptocurrency and industries around here.
The forum is very diverse when it comes to topics, we cannot say that those who are are because of the county campaign and those who join are interested in topics about mining and gambling.
What I'm sure of is, the forum is not boring and we always have new topics to discuss or talk about.

Maybe people are leaving for what they think is good for them so i don't think leaving the forum is something very bad rather as they leave the more people are flowing in as well, from my understanding we have about millions of people registered into this forum and every day by day we have 10 to 100 of people signing up as well. For you to survive in the forum you create a value over here whereby people would seek for your services.

maybe everyone in this forum will always feel bored and maybe also because of several factors, especially the current decline in crypto prices, makes those who leave this place.
because what I know is that people are starting to join here to find news about crypto and various information about earning from crypto. when the crypto price goes up a lot some new people will register here and when the price starts to drop drastically they will start leaving the place again.

This is normal, as there are those who lost their funds and those who were affected by harsh market conditions, lost hope, left the forums, and left the crypto industry, and there are thousands of people who join daily. I see that the forums are a good source to see the latest developments, news, and crypto projects, and to learn and gain experience from discussions and valuable answers from various opinions, expectations, and recommendations from experienced members around the world, also many of us earn a living from participating in bounties, as it is for me and for many a good source of income that I cannot leave no matter what happens.

Even Satoshi left the forum a long time ago and up till now the forum still continue with more new active members, so if the forum can survive this long without its creator, it will continue to survive regardless of who left or stay. People find things that interest them daily and if a user left the forum and suddenly the account becomes inactive it may not mean that they left forever, some just gave a break and in the future, there is the possibility of them returning unless some members like Lauda who made it clear that the account will never be active again but since the forum does not have self destroy feature one can not really tell of the account have exited the forum finally or just on a break from the forum.

People will come and go, but some will stay. Commonly, people will go, and more people will come. That is how the ecosystem works, not only in this forum it applies to everything. People intend to leave unless they found a purpose of staying. That's where all the rules and policies come to make it good and reliable for people to stay for longer period of time.

Exactly, Satoshi has his reasons to leave the forum, or maybe he has his own way of staying in the forum you know what I mean. But as long as we continue spending time and the more people will join us the forum stay intact.

What is the connection between this thread and the altcoin section? Those who have come to learn will not leave the forum. However, bounty hunters would leave because most of the projects have recently been terrible or fraudulent. Earning money from the bounty has never been easier recently. If you are a valuable contributor to the forum, there is no reason for you to leave. And this is a non-profitable forum, so it makes no difference who leaves or who joins. But I simply believe that more people are joining every day and that very few are leaving.

Sure. People would survive as long as they regard the forum as a place to share ideas, learn new things and not as a place to come make money. Even if that were the only purpose for joining, I'm sure after some time, they would leave. It's not like it there's a law forbidding users from leaving. I think it's all about choice.

A long and heavy bear market like the one that we are in right now definitely has an impact on the mood of the people that are involved in the crypto space. I personally don't really wanna look at the my portfolio value anymore if i am honest. It was already down like 95% compared to it's ATH even before that whole stuff happened with FTX and now it is even way lower than that. If people are sad and demotivated then of course they also have no intention to talk about cryptos on forums anymore. I noticed that also in the german subforum here. During bullruns there are new people joining the conversations, but during bear market it is very quiet.

This is probably the time in which  the less new accounts will be created and the more users leave, so in a way I can see why you are worried, but once some time passes and the collapse of FTX and Luna are farther away while the halving and a potential bull run comes closer that is when the forum will begin to increase its level of activity, and then once we are in the middle of a bull run the forum will be so lively that it would be difficult to believe that it was so inactive at this point in time.

When the bull market begins, you will see those old accounts are going to start logginin. I have seen thier usernames on casino chats the other day but I didn't see the account very active here. Thier life doesn't just revolve around this forum, they may not have to participate here too.

There was an old account lately that becomes active, Edwardard was once very active years ago and then disappear for a while but we saw him again here just weeks ago. Old users are still around.

Things come and go, let's not see how many people leave, but we have to see how many people come to this forum. Those who leave also have their own reasons why they left this forum. Maybe there are those who leave for good, there are also those who leave for a while and come back because of their respective activities. There's nothing to worry about, as each one has their own choice of staying or going.
It's a place to share ideas and brainstorm, so maybe they've had enough with what they've learned here, that could happen.

Have you seen this forum for so long? It's the most popular bitcoin forum and it's now serving not just for bitcoin but also for altcoins and other discussions/boards that has specific topics.
Those that have left based on what you think, they'll still come back to the best forum of all.

Well we have survived the last bear market, and for me this is just similar, 2018 was also very hard for us, for me personally because I didn't do the correct thing that way. But now I fully adjustment that's why even in this bear market, it doesn't affect me like what happen to me in 2018.

And so I guess this is also the experience of some members here, we should go through all of this in 2023, could be worst, but at the end of the day, we learn it the easy or the hardway and so we are going to survived.

A bearish year always tends to reduce prices, capitalization, people and interest. Then everything starts all over again. It's no secret that interest in cryptocurrency is at a minimal level right now, everyone is afraid to invest, to start something. Investors are waiting for the beginning of the bull market, developers are in no hurry to launch their projects as well. As soon as the market starts to recover, the interest and the number of people on various resources, including our forum, will noticeably grow.

There’s no proof for this because last year the market ended on a better price and many chooses to stay since they are still making money. Don’t create fud and panic if you don’t have any supporting documents for this claim, this forum has been a great place for those who are learning more about cryptocurrency and I believe this forum will stays for good.

Let them leave, if they are leaving for the purpose of bear market then so be it. This forum will not be affected that much since this is not an earning forum, I mean if the traffic becomes low the whole cryptomarket will still not be affected. I started my crypto journey with this forum, and since the Bitcoin started this forum seems to be a place where we can talk freely about cryptocurrency, so there’s no reason for this forum to be left behind.

This community? it has survived in the last 10 years or so. And we will continue to exists even if there is a mass exodus due to the current decline of the prices. We've seen this numbers in 2018 and yet we still continue to support this forum. So it doesn't change any this 2022-2023, maybe there are few people who get out but for sure when the market thrives again, this same people will get back here and doesn't want to FOMO, believed me.
