Cape Verde is a fighting team in this World Cup and any result from them was not unexpected. The team that poses a threat to Argentina is new but they played great. At one point I almost lost hope and bet on Argentina. Argentina will be the favorite in the next match against Egypt and I expect them to reach the semi-finals.

Canada may win today's match against Morocco and I can almost say for sure that France will win and it may not be difficult for a strong team like France to win the World Cup trophy.

I was having high BP from the beginning of the game until the final moment. The game was tense, I was having mixed feelings that Argentina was going to loss, I was already preparing for what people will mock me about for having believe in what Argentina can do in this world cup. Luckily the last goal was what saved the team, it would have ended as penalty which is going to be dangerous, those guys were determined than how Argentina players.

However, I don't know why Man of the match was given to Messi, I want to be fair that Cape Verde goalkeeper deserve that MOTM instead of Messi, he scored one goal in that match but more shorts were saved by that goalkeeper than what any of the players in that pitch did but anyways they try, they got the recognition as one of the best team coming from Africa. If only other countries will do like how Cape Verde did, it will change Africa football.

I once again felt that the referees favored Argentina in this match.

Cape Verde was underestimated at the beginning of this competition, what I mean here is even before the match started they all thought that Spain will perform fantastically in the group stage. Cape Verde impressive performance against Argentina was no fluke, as they had previously matched the strengths of Spain and Uruguay. Luckily, Argentina has Messi who is always active in scoring goals, if it weren't for the Cape Verde goalkeeper performing optimally in that game, maybe Messi could have scored more than one goal. Argentina had to fight hard to win against the debutant team. I saw that Argentina's defense was still very chaotic. If a team like Cape Verde managed to score two goals against them, perhaps a top team would find it very easy to break through their goal.

There was no reason to consider Cabo verde as strong. This team was new to the World Cup. The squad was not very strong either. We don't know any of the players in the Cabo verde squad. But they showed a surprise in the first match of the world cup. They got points against  a strong team like Spain. It was unbelievable. Spain could not score a single goal despite attacking a lot. Cabo Verde also performed well in the next match  against the Netherlands. And in the last match , their hard fight against Argentina surprised the whole world. Although  they could not win the match. But their performance in this  match was beyond our imagination.

You're right, Cape Verde was so mean in that match to my greatest surprised, Argentina scored first in the first half, Cape verde equalized in the second in about 59th minutes played in the second half, both teams didn't create any chance to be over run by any of the side and it lasted to the end of the regular time, Argentina scored in 92minutes, Cape Verde responded in the 103min before Argentina struck again for the the last time which gave them the winning, I'm sure that Argentina didn't believe their eyes because they were thinking that the will get the wining too quick but to their greatest surprise, they were challenged till the very end.

I don't think that  morocco winning against Canada is going to be a surprise because morocco are the favourite here, not the other way round. It's true that they may be playing the game at the Canadian stadium but that doesn't changes anything, because morocco will be too strong for them.
Since the world cup started, I think that it's only Switzerland that is the strong team they have met, which they lost 2-1, and now they are up against morocco that is as strong as Switzerland if not more, so it's because of that I believe that they are the favourite in this game, not the Canadian team that has been having it easy all along.

It's all clear now. Argentina is not untouchable. If a particular team stands toe to toe with Argentina, they will beat them.

I don't think so, I believe that Argentina will have no difficulty in beating Cape Verde because realistically, overall strength is clearly Argentina is much stronger in all lines compared to Cape Verde, it's just that Cape Verde made some surprises so many people expect the same thing when they face Argentina later and I'm sure that won't happen because Argentina has so far continued to show its best performance.

Cape Verde should go back home with pride and never a feeling of defeat, it was truly a remarkable performance and they all deserve an applause. Messi was really held down in that match and could barely see the back of the net as the keeper kept every ball away from the post.

It is certain that clubs would be coming for that keeper after the end of the match but his age could stand as a major barrier. It is painful to see that such great talent was realised at a retirement age and was never noticed, really the irony of football. I think the biggest ups for Morocco going to this match is first that they are playing Canada way from the opponents country although there will be more Canadians in USA still it’s a good one for them because this Canadians have been really strong at home.

I look at their head to head and I say that they are not going to be easy like in the past for Morocco because this is definitely a new face of Canada football and this new ones aren’t actually scared of taking on any country at the moment.

Personally it’s going to be any interesting game even though I’m terms of experience and quality they actually edges past this Canada for now, but we all know how unpredictable this World Cup has been so probably more upset to come
