Yeah I think Messi would have retired from national football after winning the 2024 World Cup but again we saw him playing in the Copa America. And we also saw Ronaldo playing in the Euros. In my opinion, the FIFA ranking is not that important for fans, because it cannot make a team one step closer to winning a trophy, fans only hope that their favorite team can win a trophy. We already have talked many times about them with currently both are doing good jobs for their clubs and with this performance most chances we can expect them for having spots into their national teams for the World Cup 2026 because they are doing things with keeping this target into their minds.

You believe that football has become more mechanical in recent times and most possibly reason due to the influence of the coaches like Pep Guardiola ? I think that Historically it is the Brazilian football that has been celebrated for its flair and creativity (samba inspired football).
