Ehm, are you talking about the World Cup that is going to be hosted across six countries and three continents?  The same tournament that will start in South America (Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay) and then move between Europe (Spain and Portugal) and Africa (Morocco)?
And you know what's the craziest thing? That all this mess is just to rotate the continents so they could give the 2034 edition to Saudi Arabia (Asia) otherwise in couldn't have been possible because Asia already had Qatar 2022. This is literally pure corruption in broad daylight.

Honestly, I don't understand FIFA's objective when they set high ticket prices for World Cup games. I saw somewhere that they said they weren't the ones setting the high prices; maybe I read it wrong, but the fact is that these are prices that poor people like me could hardly afford. Another thing is this business of having many countries host the World Cup. Why don't they simply have just one country host it, reduce the intervals between World Cups from four years to two years, and lower the ticket prices? Football was supposed to be a celebratory event, not a mercenary business that the World Cup has become.

The thing is really strange,

Although they are one of the best football team in the world. However the economic situation of country is very shaky. People are losing their breath due to inflation. I saw on Google that inflation is still over 30-40% per year. And the value of their currency is going down day by day. Due to this chaotic situation buying ticket abroad or watching game in the gallery is now a luxury for ordinary Argentines

In other words winning  championship on field does not bring much money to everyones pocket. No matter how strong the team is many fans may have to be content with watching the game on TV due to poverty. Maybe some crazy fan may be able to show up at the stadium in some way or another.

poverty is part of these teams, and there is no way to remove them, until the situation of the country improves this is what there is, clearly football brings a lot of income and for many players this is the only way to escape from certain poverty without the possibility of making a place for themselves in the world.

The matches I can watch are 10% of the level of Europe sadly  

I know the feeling. Time difference is one of the reasons why I stopped watching NBA asctively (at least during regular season) as priorities change once you grow up. Its going to be a major problem for World Cup, fo us that are Europe based, but that is only every 4 years so I will suck it up.

The World Cup in Asia happened at such a great time in my life, I was so very young,,, and could watch every single game and then since then it was always missing most of it. There were some years when I would stay up to watch Premier League and Serie A, seeing all those games,,, especially Champions League, good memories with friends, even though it was only on TV.

Then we grew up and like you said, priorities Sleep being the most important  

Europeans are lucky, because not only they can watch good football most cities try to make sure the games are easy to watch for working people. They even play in afternoon, or they make special buses etc,,, here it is always at night at they do not care the stadium is unreachable for most people and home is completely gone if the matches finish late, so most people just do not go if they cannot ensure someone can drive them home.

Honestly, in Portugal, the only player who stands out is Cristiano Ronaldo, and to make Portugal a competitive team, you can't rely solely on one player! I'm sorry, but do you even watch football? Could you please tell me what kind of sport Vitinha and Joao Neves play? Apart from the players you mentioned there are other big names we still have Bruno Fernandes who is currently one of the best players this season in the EPL. Imagine combining the players you mentioned and Mendes tell me why Portugal should be regarded as a team that would depend on Ronaldo alone that's not possible.

I don't like they decided to host the event in three countries at the same time either, it sounds like a logical hassle to constantly move all those teams, personnel and people back and forth.
It would have been easier if they decided just to host this world cup in one of those north American countries instead, provably Canada or The United States, since there have been much security concern in matter of security and civil safety in Mexico.

I would not even say the Qatar experience as so good as previous world cups from the early 2010's...

the fact is that it certainly loses the sense, but football is also change and perhaps we should accept this thing, the fact that it is in more countries gives us the possibility of reaching more people with football who will certainly be interested in following the sport because it passes in their own country, i don't think it is important for Mexico, but it is more for the United States.

More like 100 years. I find it hard to imagine any modern footballer being so driven to play at the highest level for so long and so consistently. Even if we just talk about statistics, I was recently thinking about Haaland (he certainly has a quicker and easier start than Ronaldo in terms of scoring goals), and even with regard to him, it is extremely doubtful that he will be able to beat Ronaldo’s record for goals scored. He is already 25 and has scored just under 300 goals. By the age of 35, he needs to score 70 goals per season to reach a thousand.

Haaland is strong but he is too young while in a long player career, injuries play important role for prolong a career or destroy it. A strong legendary striker like Ibrahimovic eventually had to fail in his fight again age and ageing effects with injuries in late of his career. It's too early to say how many years Haaland will be able to play, and more important at high quality level.

Haaland's main problem, in my opinion, is his build. He's nothing like Modric, Pepe, or Robben, he's more like Wayne Rooney, and with age, he'll inevitably gain weight and lose speed. He's 25 now (and I find it hard to call him young in football terms), and if we assume his prime is until 35, he'll have to work really hard to surpass everyone else. This is not all about being a diehard supporter of Cristiano Ronaldo, but his little knowledge about the Portuguese national team. As it stands currently, Ronaldo is not the best player of the team. He might be the greatest Portuguese footballer but his time is slowing running out. His experience and exposure would be helpful to the national team. However, there are some younger players who are preforming exceptionally well in their clubs.

We are starting to see finally some of the pre list of players who are gonna take part in the next world cup from some top teams, i know this list are super prelyminar and also they are not gonna be the definitive ones but for example we can see Neymar being between the 55 players in the list of the brazilian team which is one of the best things to read for us the neutral fans. All the competition are about to end and very soon the World Cup will start. It will be an interesting World Cup. People have an expectation in the World Cup, but the problem I’m seeing in this World Cup is the price of tickets. It is too high and I believe that the beginning matches just a few people would be in those matches to watch, I may be wrong but the price of the ticket is just too much and people have been complaining, but FIFA is doing nothing about it. I heard it is already sold out so let’s see how it’s going to be because people that bought it majorly are those who want to resell with high price, FIFA is just interested in the Business side of the World Cup and they don’t really care about how people feel anymore and this is not good at all.

Neymar actually tried a lot and he just scored one goal for Santos, it's another positive signal he tried to send to Carlo Ancelotti for World Cup 2026 squad selection. Having name in a list of 55 players is good for Neymar but the list is still big and many players will be removed when Ancelotti announcing the 23 players for World Cup.

I clearly know that Neymar is no longer in his prime but as a biggest star player of Brazil in the last decade, he really deserved to be called for World Cup. It's like a recognition and gift for all his great contributions for his national team over years but Neymar must accept that he will not have main role in the squad. He will be used very selective in the World Cup to support his team mates in attacks at right moment. He must join World Cup with peaceful mind and won't create any internal conflicts during the World Cup.

The hype for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has gone beyond imagination. In that ssense that's both exciting and worrying at the same time. I've been reading reports that ticket prices on the secondary market have started to drop recently, which is a good sign for regular fans. As the tournament gets closer, ticket prices could either become affordable for average supporters or completely out of reach. Either we'll see stadiums packed with passionate fans, or crowds filled mostly with billionaires and corporate guests.

Football is one of the most loved sports in the world; so many people now devote their time to watch football because they derive joy from it, and because of that, the ticket that might feel expensive will not be expensive for some people because they spend any amount to travel and watch the world cup because by that time, all football games will be over; only the World Cup will keep the world of football busy, and supporters from everywhere around the world will have time to watch football. That's why it is always special to watch, and all teams that qualified will be proud to watch their teams play.
The high price of the ticket will not affect so many people that are willing to watch it live. they can pay any amount to have what they wanted.

The best part about World Cup/Euro is that you play vs big teams, and that's one of the reasons I strongly dislike this 48 team format. At least we were lucky and didn;t get shitty group with the likes of Uzbekistan or Jordan, like Portugal for example.

Life itself is all about change, innovation, creativity, versatility and that's what I see whenever I come across this discussions concerning FIFA'S intention to spread the World Cup amongst six nations, I wonder how they going to achieve this and am very curious about it.
Yet it's sounds like the best idea the football governing body have ever come up with, think about the economic impact it would have on the hosts nations, the jobs that would be created through this event and most importantly the unity and peace it would bring especially in this era of war amongst nations.

Whether you assume that he's not the best player in the Portuguese term, that does not mean anything for now because it's Christian Ronaldo that is the eye of the club and I know that he must have been doing practice to make sure that he perform well in the world cup competition which is going to show more of his skill.
