Neymar Jr. is one of the best players from this current era, but sadly consistent injuries and off-the-field issues always create problems for him. He has never been able to perform like other legendary players like Messi and Ronaldo this has always been a problem with him. Now he is having his last chance with the Brazil national team.

34 years old is included in the 55 preliminary players' list, but coach Carlos Ancelotti is still working on the final decision; it's going to be an important one as well because he deserves to have this chance. If it's not going to work like mostly expected, this can surely bring a setback to Brazil hopefully things will be working in a favorable situation for them.

What if Brazil don't get eliminated, but instead win the world cup   Neymar isn't fit yet....And surely, Ancelotti would have his reason for not including Neymar, and I really don't think it is because of anything personal... I mean which coach wouldn't want their team to win the cup? Only if Neymar accepts to take a proper and humble role in Brazil national team in World Cup 2026 like he promises that he won't negatively and aggressively react if Ancelotti puts him on bench and use him mostly as a substitution or send him out in middle of a match. I believe that Neymar still has many good things that can contribute for his national team, but only if he is used properly and cleverly by Carlo Ancelotti. It also requires Neymar self-aware of his fitness issues and by accept such roles, he will be able to contribute his best for the team.

I think including Neymar in the Brazilian provisional World Cup list is a privilege. Some coaches wouldn't have taken such a risk. I see it as a risk because we are not sure if he will suffer injury again before or during the tournament. He has a history of laziness and unprofessional behavior off the pitch. He has also been connected to forming a cartel within the clubs he played for. His age is also a disadvantage since there are other younger players who can take his position. So I think he should be humble and respect every decision taken by coach Carlo Ancelotti. This is an oppurtunity for him to make a last impact in the internation stage.
