Nowadays players increasingly identify themselves with the club rather than the national team. Previously players used to spend 2-3 months with the club and spend the rest of the time in their home country. That has changed now. Clubs now take part in tournaments year around, while the players spend hardly any time with their national team. Even their families travel with them to where the club is located. This in turn is having a negative impact on team bonding, when the national team is playing. For the coach, it gets really difficult to finalize the strategy as well.

LOL.. I asked Gemini AI what is the statistical probability of getting the 2026 FIFA World Cup final match being played between Brazil and Argentina. It says that the probability can be anywhere between 1% to 2%. BTW, I am surprised to find out that Brazil is being given good odds by most of the sportsbooks. Argentina are one of the favorites, and that comes as no surprise. In addition to Messi, they have a bunch of very good young players. But Brazil? Recently spain have been one of the most unbeaten team and their activeness and consistency is what I actually love the most looking at the way they control games, presure their opponent and create chances shows how strong they are at the moment. France may have more star power on paper, but Spain are playing better as a team right now and that is very important in tournaments.

Unlike the league title that you get to compete all the time, you can't do the same when it comes to national leagues. Some are annually, some are two years and some are 4 years. Like this upcoming world cup that is coming soon, there are some coaches that will not come back next year if they failed to win the trophy but a person can lose the Premier League, Laliga and others, some coach don't even have long contract to come see another tournament.

Some coaches are pick with the intention of making the players ginger up so they can win what they have been trying to win all these years. In my opinion, Portugal is also the favorite to win the trophy this World Cup. The current Portuguese squad is quite good arguably Portugal golden generation, with almost everything especially the midfield and full backs. The England national team has many players but the maximum number expected to make it in the list is just 26 which is fair because if it's above that, some players will end up being benched all through the world cup matches. Before Tuchel announced the list of players that made it to the list, the three players you mentioned wasn't really in good form again especially Cole Palmer. Okay, do me and favor and remove 3 players from the squad who you think shouldn't have made it to the list and replace them with Maguire, Shaw and Cole in their respective positions, let me see the players you would pick out.

If we were still living in 2002 then yes, it would have been a wonderful final! Unfortunately this is 2026 and I don't recall seeing the Brazilian team this bad. These are by far the worst players I've ever seen. The simple fact that their star players are Vinicius, which is not worth 1/10 of Ronaldinho, and Neymar, who is 34 years old, constantly injured, and doesn't play with the national team since October 2023, says it all. So, if I had to choose, please, no Brazil in the final, I'd like to see some good players.

I think that in this World Cup they will only be a entertainment team, just like in previous World Cups, because even though they have a lot of quality players, the selection of players for their national team is so rubbish. I don't know what's going on in Tuchel's head, but with a squad like this, they might even have a hard time facing the Netherlands, let alone Portugal or France. So in the end this might be another failure for the English national team to win the World Cup trophy.

This condition will be possible because we know the pressure for the England national team is very large so when Tuchel does not bring some players who are considered worthy of being in the squad it will make tremendous noise and doubts in it.

Even some local observers in my country also commented on this but it should be the coach's authority because of course when choosing a squad to be in this world cup it obviously takes a lot of consideration and I like the way Tuchel is not intimidated by the many criticisms after making a decision.  But on the one hand this will also be a risk that is difficult to bear and could even jeopardize his position as coach in the England national team when this decision does not have a big impact on this world cup because England's results are considered a failure because Tuchel did not bring players who were considered worthy.

Tuchel must have done a lot of underground work before making his list public but the fact that he didn't consider some players which should be on the list is something no one can question him like Harry Maguire should have been on the list, Foden is not in his best performance this season and Palmer is in a very poor form, maybe he got it all right but Maguire is the only place I think he didn't do well but like I said he must have his own reasons which he's not going to disclose to the media yet.

I saw the reaction of the player when his name was mentioned among those that will represent Brazil at the World Cup, and as a huge fan of the iconic Brazilian football star I was moved with some sort of emotions seeing how excited the player is about his inclusion to the team, this goes a long way to show how important that moment was for Neymar who was skeptical about playing in the world cup, what's left now is for Neymar to stay fit and also reward coach Carlo Ancelotti by putting up a good performance at the World Cup.

This is why he is enlisted anyways, not because he is actually going to be helpful for them. Anyone who has seen the past year of Neymar knows that he is not doing good at all and should not be considered as someone who will not be playing that well at all. This should not be something that would be looking at the situation a bit differently. Something I know about the World Cup tournament is that experience actually matters for the team players a lot more than you think and am sure that among other things could have being behind why Neymar was included in the Brazilian national team lost by Carlo Ancelotti. He's a good player whom despite not being that strong and much active again as it were for him, he still stands as a threat when gazed upon by opponent on the pitch knowing well that he's a skipper in the football moves and control for creation of goals chances.
