Germany's squad should not be considered weak. They have a  strong enough squad. They have some star players. In defence Rudiger, and Jonathon tha is a very talented player. In midfield there will be players like Wirtz and Kimmich. And in attack Sane and Kai havertz are both  very talented. They  have a fairly stable squad. Now if the  players understand each other well, they will do well in the world cup. They do not have much tension in  the group stage. I am sure they will be undefeated in all  three matches.

When VAR started rolling on, it was expected to make the matches smoother and more trustworthy. It turns out to be more time consuming and sometimes less accurate since at the end it will depends from the interference of the main referee to take the last decision.
Things are changing slowly in this matter but good things take time so at the end there will be changes.
About money, I was shocked about how FIFA is dealing with this World Cup at particular. They don't want to take any decision when the US authorities already took one even if it complicates things for spectators and force them to spend more. Germany generally always has a good team, but since 2014 they haven't really been convincing. We always expect a lot from them, but the team just hasn't looked fully connected on the pitch. On paper they're really strong, and their defensive line is more than solid, the midfield too. Only the attack could be a bit better. I expect them to reach at least the quarter finals, which seems realistic.

The man has serious issues with injury and that's going to be an issue for their world cup campaign, although I don't know about this recent injury but if he indeed has injury then he will now be a liability to the squad only of course if the injury will rule him out of the entire competition but if that's not the case he can still work hard and try to adjust so he can send a string statement of his inclusion in the Brazil squad list.

I think at this point, Neymar Jr should just step down from participating at the world cup because it will be needless for him to go and not make any impact in the team due to fears of injury. According to FIFA regulations, Brazil can name Neymar replacement 24 hours before their group stage opener. The list of players that was submitted can be changed. What was submitted was a provisional list, which could be altered before the final submission deadline. I think referees has always been constant in football and it's something that is not alarming as when the referee calls a decision that supports your team, you feel ecstatic but when the reverse is the case, that's when it's the problem. The main issue I feel is disheartening is the fact that a World Cup tickets promises to cost as much as $30,000, that's huge. Let's see if France can get to the finals before we can even talk about France winning the world cup again. France has been to the finals of the world cup for the last two edition which is a very tough one and it takes hard work and dedication to do that. It's not easy getting to that level , I don't think that France can get to the finals again this is because no team can be at the top for a long time at this stage of competition which involves the best of the best.


Other teams will come up and out perform them.
