From the first day the German man was appointed the head coach of the Three Lions of English national team there were series of criticisms about that decision by the FA, many England legends as I could remember at the time didn't support appointment. Therefore it's with no suprise to me that they don't think Thomas Tuchel choice of players to the World Cup are a right choice. I think no matter whoever he picks or drops he would still have these complains and criticisms being that he isn't loved by many of these critics. I only pray Tuchel could create amazing record in this World Cup with these players that's gonna shut lots of mouths.

Because basically they want a coach from their own country, you could say this is a kind of tradition because only 3 coaches from outside have coached the English national team including the current Tuchel. Therefore it is conceivable that Portugal has become a much stronger team with these players, so it seems that this team might be able to play consistently well with these players if Cristiano Ronaldo does not participate in the next World Cup.

The English national team hasn’t achieved anything since then. what’s even more surprising is that England has never won the UEFA EURO either. they’ve only reached the final twice, in 2020 and 2024. But what makes this strange is that the English national team has never lacked star players on their roster.

There is no logical reason to leave Cristiano Ronaldo out of the World Cup squad. Although his age has been used as a reason, he can prove to the team with his performances that age is just a number for him. It didn't occur to me that England hasn't won the world Cup again after 1966. This is incredible considering the fact that the team makes up a squad of talented and young players almost every year. With this information I just heard today, I won't be angry with my country for not winning the world cup in our history. In 1966 I wasn't born but i think my dad was born before 1966. How has the tradition of picking a English native coach for eh national football team really helped the England team so far in World football achievements comparison with other football nations of their equals like Germany, Spain, or even Argentina and Italy. Since after their first ever won World Cup in 1966 they have not won it again in decades now when some countries has won it again in 2018.

How many English coaches are actually making resounding success in their domestic league, how then can they even make any with their national team in the World Cup stage, I think that tradition has being the reason why England is yet to win the World Cup again despite the quality of strong skillful players they have always had. It's true, Tuchel may not stay beyond this World Cup.
