Every England manager gets huge criticism. It’s odd in a way because England really aren’t that good, they haven’t won anything since 1966. Most of us weren’t even born when England won the World Cup so I don’t know where the sense of entitlement comes from.

I don't think that England have capacity to win the 2026 World Cup. Many people are considering them as favorite for champion but I don't think that they would win it because right now we have a lot of competitive team like England. There are also Spain, which has the highest probilities. Thus far Argentina, Brasil and France are also the hardest trail. So in my opinion England won't be able to tackle this big dogs....

So the fact is that maybe England could also test the same aspect as past. Current squad depth is good but for World Cup team need some decent army with a different capacity of skill. But let's see what happens next. Qualify stage will make the track more visible.

You're right, since I knew England as team while growing up,  up till date they haven't won anything and Southgate almost made it possible for them against Italy in the Euro finals. I believe the English team has this lots of criticism because they have had the squad over the years to perform at the highest level but always fail, infact sometimes they exit early in any major competition that it almost became a thread for them. Always good at friendlies but crap in the competition itself, that was the main reason for such criticism.

With Cristiano Ronaldo's high ambition, good professionalism, extreme strong physical fitness, his player career will continue for more years except if he suddenly gets a severe injury that ends his career. Then with his great skills for scoring goals, he will be able to score many more goals if his career lasts for next several years and he will get his target at 1000th goal. The most successful World Cup he has ever joined is World Cup 2006 when he was a young player who was guided by legendary players like Deco, Figo, Rui Costa and Pauleta. After that he became a star player, then a captain in his national team while the whole team did not play well in next four World Cups. This World Cup 2026 is a six World Cup tournament for Cristiano Ronaldo and can be his last one, also last opportunity of winning a World Cup trophy.

This summer, Portugal have a very good and competitive team, and Cristiano Ronaldo must show his leadership and experience to lead the team to success and trophy at the tournament ending.

yes, i believe that his appointments are very easy and he is not putting in too much effort, i believe that the World Cup is necessary to always have the opportunity to show off and always have the power to continue to do well, having continuity at times is necessary to always have the incentive to try to score more goals.

Regarding his position within the squad for the World Cup, I think he has proven that he is still good enough to have a right to play there. He did well for his club although that is perhaps not the best proof when you play in Saudi Arabia, but he has done well for the national team whenever he played for them and I think that is what counts. His fitness level is not up for debate, he looks like a guy at 28.

I believe that there has never been a player who has played at a high level even if he now plays in the Arab championship, at the age he is with that physique, it is an extremely rare condition that happens very few times due to the dedication he puts into training and never a mistake which is why he is the best.

The FIFA World Cup Competition has not kicked off and they already going hard on him for his choice of selected players to represent the English national team.

Foden and Palmer were ignored and not called for this World Cup but if player selection is based on player consistency and performance quality in this season, these players truly don't deserve to be called. People who criticized Thomas Tuchel and his decisions only look at player reputation and performance quality in previous seasons, not this season.

Tuchel had to make that hard decision but I still surprised to see he did not call both attacking players, as in my opinion, calling one of Palmer and Foden will be acceptable and I will pick Palmer for this World Cup. It seems national career of Cole Palmer is not smooth as in Euro 2024, Southgate only used him as an alternative player, and in this World Cup he has to stay at home.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still doing very well, we have many young players in the Saudi pro league but he is still made it to 3rd highest goal scorer this season with 28 goals, is that not a wonderful season for him as his age, this shows that his still very much capable of helping out his country in the World Cup however even though he won’t perform at the top but one of the reasons why he needs to go to this World Cup is so he can coordinate the team very well his leadership is still very much needed in the World Cup than scoring goals, Cristiano Ronaldo been in that team we make the players put in their best, it will give the players a high spirit in every match.

I think anyone that is considering England as a favorite to win the FIFA Club World Cup, The England team would definitely want to win the World Cup for them, but it’s going to be very difficult for England to win the World Cups because I don’t really understand the team they’ve called up for the World Cup Finals.

It's not only a matter of destiny but also a matter of team management, if the team is well managed with the right coach then England can achieve anything, one problem I always say is that they always fixate on coaches who must be from their own country, when clearly the ability of English coaches is only average. It's not entirely clear what's new about this rule. Do existing rules allow pushing players who don't have the ball? I'm too lazy to look for details at the moment, but I can assume that this is more likely a tightening of the application of existing rules. I saw that the new rules are mainly aimed at preventing players from wasting time when executing a throw-in. In general, I am against the new rules being applied at such large tournaments - players need to get used to them first.

I see the World Cup selection of Tomas tuchel a bit worrisome also, I was expected some players I have been watching very closely this season to be on the squad but they never made it, I don’t know how noni madueke made it to that team just because arsenal won the league?? That the overhyping I am talking about about there is no a sane manager that will pick noni and keep Cole palmer at home.

Thomas Tuchel is more tactically sound than Gareth Southgate. His wealth of experience from coaching top teams will help him improve the quality of play of the English national team. I also think Cristiano Ronaldo's performance will be incredible and one of the best ever, he will be training for that alone, I'm more than convinced, having seen him play it's incredible how this player, despite his age, always manages to score and always be the best on the pitch.
