I believe the English team has this lots of criticism because they have had the squad over the years to perform at the highest level but always fail, infact sometimes they exit early in any major competition that it almost became a thread for them. Always good at friendlies but crap in the competition itself, that was the main reason for such criticism.

Because they have had a punch of average squad that are being overhyped always. they will not win any major trophy until they stop the hype and play natural football with bothering about players PR, Let the players speak for them self on the pitch. I see the World Cup selection of Tomas tuchel a bit worrisome also, I was expected some players I have been watching very closely this season to be on the squad but they never made it, I don’t know how noni madueke made it to that team just because arsenal won the league?? That the overhyping I am talking about about there is no a sane manager that will pick noni and keep Cole palmer at home.
Let us look at the last euros was it not Cole palmer that was coming through for the country until they made it to the final? English management is a mess them not even make it to the quarter final.

This is an old problem of the English media. The English media overhypes players. And it is not just the world cup. Because of such overhype by the English media , many mediocre  players have to be bought by the clubs at high prices. And we have  seen this many times that after  buying players at very high prices , they have not been able to play well.

We are seeing the same overhype from the english media about the england squad in this Wworld cup. It is true that they have a lot of  talented players in their  squad. But we do not know how strong  they are as a team. If you want to do well in the world cup , a strong understanding between the  players is more important than having star players in the squad.

I don't think that England have capacity to win the 2026 World Cup. Many people are considering them as favorite for champion but I don't think that they would win it because right now we have a lot of competitive team like England. If it is because of Cole Palmer you all are crying online then you dont know football. Cole Palmer has been poor this season. Everyone saw it, including the Chelsea players, who know he has been poor, but they want him to be in the World Cup squad because they are sentimental. Forget about big names and big clubs. Palmer in this form will play total rubbish in the World Cup. If England wants to compete properly, they should forget about big names and go with players who are doing well for their respective clubs.

As a super fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, it's my ardent desire that the Portugal national team captain lifts the FIFA World Cup trophy this summer, however, I know that'll be very difficult to achieve. In terms of conditions Turkey will still remain a favorite just talking about h2h even though they last met in 2017 but looking at their last few matches there is actually rarely an absolute victory that occurs but for the Turkish squad now of course much more complex especially some players including Yildiz are likely not to be played because they are still in the recovery phase.
