A truly phenomenal tournament is about to start in a few hours and the wait of almost 4 years will come to an end and we’ll witness a true footballing experience. The world cup is a really highly antic Tournament in all of the world in all sports which crosses billions in viewers. Alot of money will be generated also and people will make memories of their lifetime. 48 teams mean 16 more teams meaning more matches and more lasting thrill so we hope it’s as good as the WC22. It will be the last of many players but there will be new players also. Overall just excited to see some pure good football.

although, if we take head-to-head matches into account, South Korea won a friendly against the Czech Republic 2-1 in 2016. but we know that a friendly match isn't always a good indicator.

They have very similar performances, it will be a balanced match, although i am confident about South Korea's victory, don't even consider the friendly match, unfortunately it is an old fact and furthermore it is still a friendly match.

It's normal for fans to be a bit sympathetical about Ronaldo's winning the World Cup but to win the World Cup, you have to engage a certain level of work and a great deal of luck to even get closer to the semis. I hope the Portuguese team gets closer this time for Ronaldo's sake, his presence in the Portuguese squad will really count no doubt, and I think the team will perhaps need his influence when it matters most during this games.

Portugal beat Nigeria yesterday in the friendlies. Nigeria didn't qualify for the World Cup but those who wanted to participate in the World Cup met Ronaldo yesterday and they were very happy after the match. Nigeria played quality football yesterday and I was impressed for the match. From the performance I saw yesterday, Portugal would not play the final but France might be.

i am curious to see South Africa too, but from the little experience i have considering the few World Cups I've seen, Mexico has a better chance when it comes to on-field experience.
South Africa have outstanding physical performances, but i think they don't have the same technique and experience as Mexico.

Mexico goes into the match as the favorite, especially with the home advantage and their current form speaking in their favor. But opening matches often have their own dynamics. The pressure is high, no one wants to start with a loss, and that’s exactly why I can imagine South Africa playing very compact defensively.

An early goal might not come, the game could turn into a tough battle, and Mexico might struggle to create really clear chances. If South Africa stays disciplined and maybe becomes dangerous on the counterattack, a draw is definitely possible.

For me, a 1:1 result is not that unlikely, it certainly wouldn’t be a big surprise for me.

I already prepared myself for some sleepless nights, as the majority of games are after midnight where I am. But no worries; I will have the chat group and social media group on mute if I go early to sleep so I can watch the game the next day with a playback. Cristiano Ronaldo is certainly not as agile as he was when he was at the peak of his performance in his prime. And he looks very different compared to his younger days. But his experience so far can be a very sharp weapon against the defenses of other national teams. Cristiano Ronaldo still looks fit thanks to the rigorous training he has consistently undergone all this time. And he certainly will prepare for everything by giving his all in the World Cup, where it might very well be his last. And I’m sure Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates on the Portuguese national team will be ready to give their best alongside him. With this costume it is difficult to identify some of the players. I really wanted to see how some of their major players looked.

Anyway this is the beauty of thee World Cup. The tournament is an avenue to showcase the culture and history of each country. I am also expecting to see some of these custums from fans as the tournament starts.

Wow this is lovely, it reminds me of the movie series Vikings. I can spot Manchester City's striker Erling Haaland, his custume made him look like one of Ragnar Lodbrok's son in the movie (Bjorn). You can tell that tbe Norwegian Norsemen are really prepared for this tournament, it's the fourth time their country would participate in the world cup and first time for most of their players.

Someone like Haaland would be makimg his first debut in a major intercontinental competition, I believe they'll give their best and try to make their country proud. I've also seen the group photo of The Three Lions, in their English Knight costume, it's dope too.

I have been a fan of Ronaldo's hard work and resilience, but I think it's a big ask for him to lift this coming World Cup trophy, especially given the fact that Portugal has never won it before. He is also way past his prime, and I don't see anyone serious taking up command in Portugal.

Anyway, time will tell soon.

There must be more performance from a team not just individuals if they really want to get the trophy including for Portugal because even though there is a visionary player like Cristiano but when teamwork is still a lot of gaps and some attack schemes are not as expected, it will certainly be difficult to get the trophy.

But for now Portugal's chances are better with the quality of players currently owned. Looking at the group phase which will face Congo, Uzbekistan and Colombia there should be no problem for Portugal in the group phase even this is their momentum to show the difference in quality because I think with the group phase now Portugal's test lies in the knock out phase later not the group phase because seeing the difference in club quality clearly the group phase is very favorable for them.

Four hours left the opening ceremony of World Cup 2026 and I am waiting how interested the opening ceremony in this time, for the first match Mexico vs South Africa and second match South Korea vs Czech Republic and for the first and second match separate almost four hours. As Asian country this World Cup not really friendly yet for watching because playing too early night and second match playing too morning we are on working position exactly the second match today South Korea vs Czech Republic.
