I consider the current Portuguese squad to be a golden generation because it’s packed with many great players who play for top clubs. Well, with such a perfect squad on paper, Portugal might seem to have everything it needs to win the World Cup trophy. But of course, winning the World Cup isn’t easy, even with a great squad. Still, it’ll be interesting to see if, with a squad this strong, Portugal can make it to the World Cup semifinals or finals. I think a lot of people have high expectations for Portugal at the World Cup.

Definitely both teams are going to play to win the game, but I’m going to be surprised if Mexico doesn’t win the game, because I’m expecting them to win this game, and it’s going to be a very difficult game for Mexico and South Africa, but I’m expecting Mexico to come out victorious because they’re playing at home, and with their fans behind them, they’re going to come out victorious in this particular encounter, and they’re a very strong team to contend with in this particular tournament.

True, it's because they want to celebrate 100 years of the tournament but of course the reason behind it all is the profit earned because the more the number of teams participating in the competition, the greater the profit they will get later.  But if this proposal is realized, there will certainly be a lot of opportunities for several other teams that did not qualify in this period.

Portugal beat Nigeria yesterday in the friendlies. Nigeria didn't qualify for the World Cup but those who wanted to participate in the World Cup met Ronaldo yesterday and they were very happy after the match. Nigeria played quality football yesterday and I was impressed for the match. From the performance I saw yesterday, Portugal would not play the final but France might be.

Are you now judging Portugal with the friendly match between them and Nigeria, that match should be seen as friendly match which is what it is, there is nothing serious in that match, whether Nigeria and portugal played well or not in that match, there is no cup or any medal  attached so I do not think anyone should think that Portugal Portugal will not be in the finals for that reason, I laughed when you said those wanted to see Ronaldo saw him in the match,you mean Nigerians right? That is very funny, so you think they are very happy that they saw Ronaldo instead of being more concerned about not qualifying for the FIFA world cup, how is that possible?

Anytime Nigeria play match with other national team, x will be full if memes that day but I woke this morning to see them but there wasn't any available, that tells you that the match was more like a meet and greet. It was nothing serious, even Portugal were excited to meet Nigeria. The atmosphere wasn't that tense but in Nigerians mind I know they wanted to win Portugal so they can use it to do their usual e wars between countries and for physical argument.

I noticed we had less turnout from the players, some of the players that were supposed to represent us didn't come or perhaps they weren't given an invitation for the match. If most of them were present, maybe we could use that opportunity to measure our standards in the world cup. It's a strange paradox: last time it was truly terrible, but the tournament organization was beyond praise. You didn't mention which national team you're supporting or what country you're from. However, after visiting your profile, I think you're from Turkey and support Turkey. If that's correct, then yes Turkey is playing Australia in their first groupstage match.

In my opinion, Turkey should beat Australia comfortably. I also think Australia will finish 4th in the group.

Yes. Finally, the competition we've been waiting for is about to begin with the first match between Mexico, the host and South Africa. Interestingly as you mentioned, they met 16 years ago, when South Africa, the host and Mexico ended in a draw. This opening match will be a repeat of the 2010 World Cup.

This will certainly be an interesting match, especially since Mexico, besides being the host, is also one of the strongest teams in the group. This will be a very difficult match for South Africa. It will be an interesting match but I’m predicting Mexico to win especially since they are part of the countries hosting the World Cup, the match won’t actually be easy for South Africa I don’t see them having a chance to win this match and if they end up winning the match it is by luck just joking but I just believe Mexico has a better chance of winning this match than South Africa.
