Great performance from the united states national mens football team for the super performance in their first game of the tournament as co-host. Honestly I was not expecting this type of performance from the united states, reasons been that Paraguah is not a team that can be pushed away just like that. But that was not the case as the united states showed that they are ready for the challenge as they took the game to another level as they open scoring early in the game. And showed no signs of stopping until they game came to an end. 4:1 is a statement that United States is not a team that should be taken for granted by any team.

USA played really well. I was impressed by their incredible performance. They were putting a lot of pressure on us throughout the match, their attacking was really good. I felt the aggressive moments. In fact, I hope that many underrated teams will play well in this World Cup like last time. I hope it will be an exciting World Cup. However, I enjoyed this USA vs Paraguay match very much. Since this is the World Cup, we will be able to see many more unexpected matches and wins in the future.

Honestly the only disappointment for in that game was not being able to convert their chances, overall game play was very good and they created some good chances too. Though I was not even expecting them to play this well against an European team.

USA have definitely improved mate, pochettino have done an incredible work with the team, they way they move the ball and quick transition is very impressive. After that win I believe they would qualify from that group, and just like you said they will challenge some big European teams in this World Cup.

The shocked enters deep down my bone marrow, as the goal margin is too far beyond expectations, actually as host nation I know in mind that directly and indirectly has greater advantage of wining the match at all cost but with the goals margin that is what I never expected, they way this games are goal betting without past experiences will leave many gambler into deep lost I couldn't foresee Canada equalizing considering they way they where playing . Paraguay never impressed me as experience and past world cup champions following past record conceiving four goals in their opening match show some weakness in their team on this very competition.

People want to put it out as if the Canadian  team is very much better than the Bosnia & Herzagovinia team. To me I think Canada was lucky to pick up a draw from the match and not the other way you're putting  it, being  part of the host nation  isn't a yastic  to perform extraordinary, we have  seen a lot of host national that didnt make it to the round  of 16 so if Canada  don't want to be part of those they will have to up their games and win the he next spot for their country.
However  USA didn't t take it likely  with Paraguay  team they rained  goals  in their net which  I expected  bit not up to that number, I was surprised  at the score line because  I didn't  get to watch the full match.

Out of the 3 host nations, it's only Canada that has a weak team. 90% of the Canadian players doesn't play in a big team. There match with Bosnia was a boring game , I even expected Bosnia to get a win of 2-0. But they also played like shit against Canada, they have every advantage to beat Canada because they have good squad. United States was brilliant yesterday, they demolished Paraguay in a 5 goal trailer.. Their home advantage is big tool for them likewise Mexico too , but I don't Canada will be able to get any except they beat  Qatar. As  for Pochettino team I feel the only challenge they face is against Turkey, but Australia shouldn't be much head ache for them. I see them finishing the group as 2nd position.

But in all honesty, I think it's not so much that USA played incredibly well, but more about Paraguay underperforming. It just didn't look like they were properly prepared and couldn't surprise the host with anything.

yeah still imo USA isn't as good as they looked against Paraguay but people don't really notice how much football has changed over the last 20 years and how South American countries have failed to adapt... they still think south american teams hold the upper hand.
from now on, unless they produce a rare golden generation  no south american country will be able to achieve any success if they stick to their current traits of low work rate, slow tempo and poor conditioning.

For now it seems to us that while Brazil is strong on paper, they will play very cautiously against Morocco in their first match of Group C, even then it is expected that the Brazilian team will make a great start from Group C because in my opinion, this team is stronger than their opponents in the group stage matches.

I'm talking about the news that says the equipment, training gear, players' boots, and other things belonging to the England national team were stolen by unknown individuals. Honestly, this is very strange.

There's only one game today and I won't be betting on it. I'm seriously considering whether it's worth watching today's game, but for tomorrow's games, I've already bet on Brazil's game against Morocco. I believe Brazil will win. They have an excellent coach and a very skilled squad; they have everything they need to win tomorrow.

there are actually a lot of similarities between the Turkish and USA national teams. both teams play inconsistently and both are completely unpredictable. It wasn’t only the bookmakers who expected a closer game, I also thought that Paraguay’s defense would cope much better with the USA’s attack. However, the USA started the match full of confidence and managed to score many goals. By the way, they once again registered a very high number of shots, if I’m not mistaken, they had 16 shots on goal. I looked at their recent statistics, and they have been producing a huge number of shots in every game, even against Germany. It seems that this approach is now paying off.

I believe that Turkey could be their main rival in the group. We still need to see how Turkey performs in its opening match against Australia, but I expect Turkey to win. I could stylishly agree with the South African side, as they are the defeated ones and might be under tension somehow. The match was almost over and you've been leading with 2 goals already, so what could possibly go wrong to warrant your ousting out with a red card? That baffles me actually with the reasoning faculty of some people.

When there are red cards, I'm sorry to say, it means that there is nervousness and there is no game or desire to play professionally.
There are no excuses, sport is not violence or playing unfairly.

No, that conclusion is not accurate of what I meant. Of course, the sportsmanship is there, but such an occurrence is rare, and as a matter of fact, has never happened in the history of FiFA World Cup, where the opening match would attract 3 red cards. I can only call this a disheartening situation, which could have handled better.

I saw the first half performance and I rated them for the win or draw. Jonathan the striker for Juventus had chances but couldn't bury it.
That cost them and Bosnia got the chance to convert their own goal with that set piece.
They have to give Eden Dzeko a good set off since this will b his last FIFA World Cup Competition to be played.
I couldn't wait to see the game between the United States and Paraguay. I don't know why they're hosting and playing this competition though when they actively bombing Iran.

Yes, I also did expect Canada in this match, because I thought Canada would definitely win in their first match, but unfortunately they were only able to get a draw. Because as we know, Canada is also the host in this World Cup, but unfortunately they could not take advantage of all this well and finally only managed to get one point in this match. I think Mexico didn't play that good either. They missed too many opportunities of scoring goals. What happened is that South Africa played quite poorly, even compared to some clubs from the national championship from my country. It's hard to believe that a national team with that level of performance has reached the World Cup, or maybe, it's just that there are too many national teams participating this edition of the global championship.

Watching South Africa’s play last night, I found myself wondering how a team with such a disorganised style of play could have qualified for the World Cup. The South African players, particularly in the first half, made so many passing errors. As well as losing 2–0 to Mexico, South Africa also received two red cards. In my view, if South Africa continue to play like this, they are likely to finish bottom of the group with no points.

That's a bad game South Africa played last night, I didn't expect them to play a lot of mistakes to lead to goals from these blunders, actually Mexico is also not very good in attack it's just that South Africa is not playing solidly, try to imagine the two red cards they got? It's like a game out of control right?

I couldn't quite figure out if it was because the USA was so good or because Paraguay was so bad. Paraguay had their first effective attack in the second half. The USA scored 3 goals in the first half. One goal was disallowed for offside. Balogun scored a beautiful goal. It looks like the USA's matches will be high-scoring. I'm most curious about the USA vs. us match. Either we or the USA will be group leaders.

USA was too good to fight Paraguay. Their football has been getting so much upgrade compared to their performance in 2022 WC, when they could only scored a few goals from all of their games in WC 2022. Poch ball is genuinly upgrading the way they played.
They much more composed in term of possession. So many shoots created and so many goal attempts too. They way they played is totally different like what they used too.

So i think it's not Paraguay who was bad, but it's USA that is improving a lot after they appointed the correct manager to handle their squad.

Especially in a situation where Brazil is in a state of instability, Morocco is a big threat to Brazil. It would definitely be a bit confusing to see either of these two teams lose their first match of the FIFA World Cup. However, they could try to surprise everyone by making a comeback like Argentina did in the last World Cup.

The first of the exciting matches of the current World Cup, Morocco vs Brazil is going to be an exciting match where anything can happen. We could see a lot of goals or a draw or we could see one of the teams lose by a small margin. However, since both teams are famous for their strong defense, the match could end in a 0-0 draw or a 1-1 draw. I can't put any team ahead in terms of winning.
