Qatar played a strong game, staying very focused on defense and then capitalizing on the few chances they had. The six minutes of stoppage time were tough for Switzerland, but hey, if you don’t take advantage of all those chances, you only have yourself to blame. Unfortunately, that was the end of my parlay bet.

Congratulations to Qatar on the point, it will feel like a win for them, but for Switzerland, it feels more like a loss.

I really can't believe it. How were there only 2 goals in the Qatar-Switzerland match? I had a bet on over 2.5 goals @1.61. Switzerland had 3.24 goal expectation.

But they scored only 1 out of a ton of attempts. Qatar scored in the last moments to make it 1-1 but it came too late.


Now I'm waiting for my bet on Turkey to win. I hope we don't fail because of not being a part of the World Cup for a long time.

We all already knew that Switzerland was a better team than Qatar. They demonstrated their superiority from the very beginning of the match. Qatar failed to convert the 1-2 good opportunities they managed to create. Switzerland, although they scored one goal from a penalty, found themselves in positions where they could have scored much more but luck wasn't on their side. We'll see what happens in the rest of the match.

Switzerland could not be able to win this match because Qatar equalize at the extra minute, I was early disappointed with Switzerland because I expected them to hold the match to the final whistle but fail to do so. They will be a lot of competition in this group B because all of them are having equal point which is one point for each team. Their next match will be very tough because all of them still have chances of topping the table.

We all said Switzerland was the favorite but I doubt many expected this result. When you factor in elements like the local time the match was played and weather conditions, I think in this tournament it won't be about being the favorite but rather having the right conditions that will matter more. Also, in one of my previous posts, I had mentioned that I expected Qatar to score. Even if it came in the last minute, they did find the goal, though I was thinking they'd concede 2-3 goals while scoring one. The result they got was truly very surprising.

I don't really think that Qatar have the chances of drawing this game because they have really made so many mistakes which has really showed their weak point. The match is currently 0 -1 and Switzerland is leading. The time is ticking and the match is running to an end remaining few minutes to the closure of this game. Let's see if Qatar can equalize this match.

The Qatar vs Switzerland match is just remaining few minutes for the referee to blow the final whistle, and with the way Switzerland is dominating Qatar I don't think Qatar would be able to draw this match. Switzerland couldn't even score at least two goals against Qatar, hope they won't lose their two remaining matches since they couldn't score a lot of goals against Qatar.

Qatar ended up drawing against Switzerland in the 90+5 minutes of the match, and I don't feel very happy about this because they just closed more than four of my parley bets that had Switzerland to beat Qatar as one of the legs.

But aside my bet tickets getting closed due to the unfavourable outcome, i still think this was a great game for Qatar, not minding the way they were dominated by the Switzerland players, they still managed to equalise the match bringing the end score to 1 : 1 from both sides respectively.
This definitely also should serve as a lesson for Switzerland to always go for more goals after their first goal as this is how to really solidify and have a better short at winning a match, one goal can be equalized at  any time and moment even in the last few seconds of the match.

i felt sorry for the fans. instead of watching at least a decent match under this sun, they had to watch a terrible team. guys refuse to follow the rules even on a corner kick and just argue with the referee...

Qatar played terribly and that's why they could not win the game. Switzerland dominated every part of the game and were unlucky not to get all three points. Qatar will have to improve or risk going home very early from the tournament. Of there's anything the Swiss team should do, it's actually to improve in converting their chances.

in my opinion this was the first major upset of the current World Cup. Switzerland squandered numerous chances and ultimately paid the price for their poor execution.



Switzerland has an xG of 3.25 and has scored only one goal from a penalty. Bosnia and Canada will be delighted with this result. earlier they also drew 1-1. it turns out that everyone in this group has just one point and the real battle is still ahead but Bosnia and Canada both have a match against Qatar which they hope to win.

I am so excited its the first super big match during phase group at World Cup 2026 and my favorite team for this time is Brazil, I hope Vinicius and Raphinha can playing well for this match.

Qatar just need a goal in this closing stages to surprise the Swiss. Switzerland has been in control from the first half but honestly they gave been very poor in taking the chances they have created.
Although the weather played it's part because it is extremely hot I still expect Switzerland to be really professional and play through the heat.

Qatar was able to get a goal in the dying minutes of the match, and they surprise Switzerland and football fans. Yes Switzerland has been in control from first half and they had a lot of chances to even score a lot of goals in the first half and seal their win but they weren't clinical, and that made them to draw 1-1 against Qatar. The weather wasn't favourable to both teams, so you shouldn't use the weather as an excuse why Switzerland couldn't score a lot of goals against Qatar.

I'm sure most of us were not convinced by the reality we saw, finally Qatar scored 1 goal in the injury time of the match. The only goal Switzerland scored came from a penalty, which is not real for me. Honestly, this is the first surprise I've seen in this world cup.

I'm satisfied with this result because if Switzerland had won with that their useless score I would have been angry, at least I'm happy now. As they and their fans are sad with the draw I'm happy for Qatar equalising at the dead end of the match. A match I was expecting nothing less than 3 goals at least, after that penalty, I thought the Swiss will put in more efforts to get another goal and from there score at least 3 to secure the 3 points but they failed woeful, just wasting chances upon chances, I'm not even going to talk of the 2 clear cut chances that Qatar would have scored. Switzerland disappointed me in this game, but it's good they didn't finally win with that 1 - 0

Jeez. the goal at 90+5 made my bet that was already looking pretty good a loss even though it was the last minute of extra time.
I was on BTTS no for this match and I was quite happy when it was 0-1 in normal time but disaster struck at the end and my bet was ruined.

Switzerland played very well in today's match but they missed at the crucial time and it cost them only 1 point and this also made me feel a loss even though victory was in sight.

I assumed that Switzerland had won the match because the main 90 minutes of the match had ended and 3 minutes had passed in the extra 6 minutes, but at the very last moment, Qatar player Boualem Khoukhi scored a valuable goal with his head. Honestly, it is not going to be an easy match for Brazil, but I still can't say with confidence that Morocco is going to win the match. Even though I know they have a very strong team and seem to be stronger than Brazil, considering Brazil's recent matches, I still believe the game could go either way.the way I am viewing the match, it is possible that it could end in a draw. For now, I can't say which team is the favorite to win because, even though I don't have much confidence in Brazil based on their recent performances, I am still expecting a good performance from them because of the quality of players they have.For now, let's wait and see what happens. The way most people are judging Brazil, it seems they have already lost confidence in the team. As for me, however, I still have confidence in Brazil.

This will be the first tough WC match since they start the competition Brazil and Morocco will be the best game to watch today. Both team won’t try to lose tonight because this is there first game and I can’t even predict who will be the winner in the match but let just see in the 90mint and will see who will be the favourites to achieve the three points. Brazil have touch players then Morocco and many people will always get the believe that Brazil will win the game let see how the game will end and see the new Brazil coach will get the first victory in the World Cup against Morocco. They were leading 1–0, but they conceded a goal in the closing minutes, and the match ended in a draw.
Qatar played poorly but still managed to earn a point.
Both matches in Group B ended in draws.
To be honest, this was a very disappointing result for Switzerland. They were absolutely devastated after conceding the late equalizer.

It is indeed a surprise. This was a team with 1.22 odds for a win against Qatar but somehow, they couldn’t score from open play in regular time and only got a goal through a penalty that was awarded to them. I imagine they would be on most best for the World Cup and they’ve disappointed a lot of forks with this performance.
Qatar did good to get that plus minutes equalizer, it’s an informant point for them, getting points from the favorites, that’s how to hold up through the group stage.

The game everyone is waiting for right now is the Brazil vs Morocco fixture which would kick off soon. My money is on Brazil but, I doubt they would be able to keep a clean sheet against Morocco.

They completely dominated the match, and they were able to score their goal in the first half, but Qatar ended up equalizing during the extra time given in the match. I never believed Qatar will be able to equalize in the match, but the surprised me. I didn’t pick them in my bet, but the draw is just going to ruin lots of people’s bet because the draw wasn’t expected. Switzerland had lots of chances in the match, but they could convert only 1 into goal, it’s really bad because they had the opportunity to score more than a goal in the match.

I think, Spain has the best team in the competition. Have to see how the French team performs to make a judgement on how they perform as a team. No doubt, that they have big names in their squad but performing as a team is essential to win the entire tournament.

My team missed out on getting a spot in this World Cup because we lost the qualification match to Sweden.

Spain can be the best team or just one of the best teams in World Cup 2026 but being the best team is not enough to win World Cup 2026. They must perform as best as they can, and win matches including the final match for lifting a trophy. A World Cup champion does not always need to be a strongest or most impressive team, they only need go far to the final match, and win it.

Spain are strong but there are other strong national teams like France, Portugal, Germany, England and Brazil that are all ambitiously aiming at the title, so they will not let Span easily win this World Cup trophy.

I agree that the strongest team on paper might not necessarily win the World Cup. There is no way Brazil has a chance this time, let's see how they perform against Morocco tonight and then we can decide how far they can go, but I'm not expecting them to be in the semifinals.

France and England have good teams, but I am most interested to see which goalkeeper Spain considers as the number 1, since they have David Raya, who is one of the best keepers and Unai Simón who was the mainstay for a while.
