Ronaldo, known to be called as CR7 and today he showed why this title suits him. When the match started every player of Portugal looked for an attack and in the early minutes of the game, there was a chance for Ronaldo to score a goal but he missed by inches. However, later on he scored it twice. He scored in an absolutely sensational manner, especially the first one which was totally excellent.

I was rooting for Ronaldo to score a hat trick today. Uzbekistan came out prepared to gain at least a point after losing to Colombia in the first game. But the outcome of the game showed that they were outclassed. Ronaldo would have scored more than two goals but he missed some clear-cut chances. The good part of the game is that Portugal has gotten three points and one of the biggest players in recent times has gotten a brace. They will now hope to get more points in the match against Colombia so that they can top the league.

Colombia won't be an easy game at all because they are a good side and they will be also looking for a chance to top their group since they already have a good start and also Dr Congo will also be looking to get atleast a point from their meet up late this night or if possible even come up with a win so that it makes everything more interesting in the group but we all know that's gonna even be a bigger task but this world has been filled with so many surprises so let's see how they hold up but like you said the most important thing is that they have already gotten the win and that's what matters for Portugal.

This is exactly what Cristiano Ronaldo needed scoring two goals to actually shut up the criticism he has been having since he dropped the poor performance based on his ability in the last match.
I am not a Ronaldo fan but I think that he has done so much for football and he deserves everything he has ever achieved in football, it will be unfair undermining all of his achievements and contributions just because of a poor performance.

I don't think any body is undermining Ronaldo's contribution and achievements in football, the issue with Ronaldo is his fans, his fans are too loud and brag too much about him, creating attention where attention isn't supposed to even exist.
Whether you believe it or not, Ronaldo doesn't come close to Messi in terms of football talent and achievement but Ronaldo's fans like to compare him to Messi, wanting him to achieve every thing Messi have achieved due to jealousy and envy I suppose.

And when Ronaldo underperforms possibly due to match intensity and age factor which is no longer in his favor, fans tends to blame something else or someone else for that..
If you ask me, I did say that Ronaldo needs to retire from football after this world Cup, but this is if he wants to maintain his dignity and respect, it's better to retire an honourable man than retire as a failure, no one will be pleased to see the other side of Ronaldo that will be to weak to perform on the pitch due to old age setting in.

The match between England and the Ghana already started and after 35 minutes currently we don't see any score from the England even they were trying again and again with the aggressive mode of their attacking form but unfortunately at the last moment they were failing to score.

But I think if they can continue like this then they will definitely be able to score in the first half or the second half and go ahead. I understand that Ghana will not be able to do anything other than play defense in this match. Ghana's attacking form is bad but their defense form is good, which is mainly why England is not able to score.

In all this Messi can't be left out because he's the best in the tournament so far, he's definitely on his level in this Tournament.

This is the Portugal we all expected to see right from the start of the tournament but they fumbled and I think the critics got them and they corrected all their mistakes. Many argue that CR7 is finished and is the problem but the team entirely were bot playing that's why they couldn't win their first game. Ronaldo was left out in the goal scoring board in the first matches but this time he made his mark and scored twice, he has proven that there's still something left and most especially the goals are still there. Their final group stage games can't be risked, they have to win it by every means necessary.

Everything is really working in favor of Ghana in this game, as it stands both sides don't have any shot on target and with the way things are going Ghana might get a draw, the defense are not letting anything get pass them. England on the other hand are acting as the bigger side but if they don't get a goal soon and Ghana had to score first then the whole struggle will be for nothing. Some persons are predicting this game to be a 2-1 win for England but from what I'm seeing it might end in a draw because England can't break the defense of Ghana, they should continue with this same momentum so it will help them in the remaining games.

Ghana are playing completely defensively, Ghana have come out with a 5-4-1 formation, their only aim seems to be to draw the match 0-0. England are trying hard, but the amount of defense Ghana are playing makes it very difficult to score. I don't understand how the match can go, but the way the game is played, nothing is certain. There is no doubt or reason to deny that I don't think there is any player of the current era at the level that Messi is at. However, Ronaldo's performance and Ronaldo's portfolio are not less, yes, when he plays for his national team, his position will be seen behind Messi, but here too I find a reason behind it and that is the understanding among the players of Argentina and at the same time there are many other good players in Argentina, due to which Messi easily gets very great assists which helps him create history one after another.

But on the other hand, Ronaldo's teammates in Portugal have less understanding, even many call Ronaldo selfish, here Ronaldo's teammates are more selfish, where if Ronaldo passes, there will be an easy goal, they take the strike themselves. With the way England has been attacking and playing I’m really surprised England wasn’t able to score any goal yet and none in the first half, because it’s a Really disappointing thing for the Ghanaians even though we know the English team is better than the Ghanaian team but zero shots in an entire first half? That’s very poor.

But honestly if we consider the shoots on goal or towards goal 🥅, scoring intentions from both side aren't just there.. and with these water break's that remove the momentum out of the game, I see this to be a boredraw as not so much creativity happening here..

Ronaldo has already built the reputation for him self long ago, he is not the same person as every other regular footballer you come across, so you do not expect him being blamed so easily and we should give him the onions. I'm watching with interest because I was sure England would score at least two goals in the first half, but Ghana is causing major problems.
It's now the 60th minute and the score is still 0 to 0. If England draws, we'll have another surprise draw at this World Cup.
I still believe England will win this match, but my confidence is dropping with each passing minute.
