The first half is about to end. I can't really say I enjoyed the match until this moment: I only saw a lot of nervous players who were more interested in fighting rather than actually playing football. Especially the Argentinian players. I hope the managers will calm down the players and that we'll finally see some football in the second half.

Tuchel almost slapped one of the referees because a foul wasn’t called that led to  a throwin.. wasn’t a foul either, just an emotional manager.

I think the whole statements are entering their heads already which is causing them to play agressive. I don’t care who wins tonight but  there’re lots of people who don’t want Argentina to qualify already.

It’s not easy playing against a team and referees. However I really want England to win Argentina just for the way they have been favored by FIFA in the tournament. The second half will soon begin, and both sides may just continue this physical football they have been playing in the first half. Argentina have been able to come back into some games when they are one or two goals down. They have very good strikers who capitalise on any lapses and get the goal. Pickford has been incredible with his saves, at least he has been able to keep England going with this few saving he has gotten, but if England wants to defend his goal, They will have to come out to force attack on Argentina, why I'm saying this is because it was not through defending that they were able to score Argentina, it was as a result of them coming out to attack. However I feel the English coach had just made another mistake as he has just substituted Declan Rice, regardless the pressure, people like Rice are some of the players that will help you to defend the central midfield. It's over 80 something minutes of play can England still keep up with the defence.

England seem to want to hold on to this result until the end because seeing the substitutions they made they replaced several attacking players with defensive players and now the formation changes to 5 defenders especially after Gordon was replaced by Konsa.

Interesting to see what Argentina are doing now because after 1 goal they really changed the rhythm of the attack and the flow of the game is getting faster now.
Lautaro and De Paul have also come in to make the attacking areas more complex as England focus on their defence.

Compared to the first half I think the second half was a lot more interesting not only in terms of tension but the players also started to make this the end but I doubt if England did this they could hold on to the score that is currently happening.
