In my opinion, the equaliser shouldn’t have happened. It’s Tuchel’s fault for parking the bus against a team like Argentina so early in the second half. I thought they would learn from Cape Verde how to play against them. Argentina just scored another goal, it’s 1-2 in extra time. What a shame. Looks like Argentina are going to the finals.

Worst performance from England they gave Argentina the opportunity to take over the game, Argentina made several goal attempt while England was just parking the box when they should come out to play the game. Argentina has been making some good come back to get to the final, against Cape Verde they made a come back to win against Egypt they also turn a 2-0 loss to a 3-2 win and today against England they also made a late come back to win England 2-1.

Argentina vs. England—what an incredible match that was. Until the 85th minute, Argentina were trailing and kept attacking, but Pickford was solid, and the post saved the English twice. It seemed like luck had completely run out for the Argentines today. But Leo Messi decided it all once again. Even though he didn't score himself, he provided two assists. Once again, trailing in the match, Argentina showed their grit and won a brutal game. Matches of this intensity are rare; this game will probably go down as a World Cup classic. A stunning match. Messi is just a legend.

Damn Argentina,  they really pulled off an Egyptian surprise..this 80th minute game play is crazy time from them and they have done it twice to flip the game and now they are back to being favorites which sacks,but they shouldn't try this shit with Spain because that's a whole different ball game that's for sure !!!

talking about Spain and Argentina it is obvious that spend will win Argentina if Spain have the privilege to score earlier goal it will be over for Argentina, the reason being that, Spain have a strong defensive system compared to Egypt and England, the defensive of Spain is not stronger than the both team I mentioned that have played with Argentina and the score early goal at end Argentina defeated them, so in Match of Argentina and the Spain I am predicting that neither Spain win Argentina or it will end draw then penalty kick will the final judgment of the match..

Congratulations to Lionel Messi (The GOAT) and the entire Argentine side for their qualifications to the 2026 FIFA world cup Finals after defeating England.

That was a good game and fight from both the Argentine side and the England team. As expected it was a well played and tough game for the both side.

The influence and presence of the Greatest of all time (GOAT) was felt in the game, and that gave the Argentine side the courage to fight and made a comeback to qualify for the next round of the tournament.

Hard luck to the England side for their loss but that is how the game is being played. The better team will most times win and that was the case of this game.

We are on to the finals on the 19 of July 2026, where the Argentine side will face the Spanish team. It will be a history game as Lamin Yamal will get to play with Lionel Messi who has being his idol and inspiration ever since he started playing.

England seem to want to hold on to this result until the end because seeing the substitutions they made they replaced several attacking players with defensive players and now the formation changes to 5 defenders especially after Gordon was replaced by Konsa.

They did but that was their biggest mistake that led to their defeat tonight.. ontop of it , they sub Gordon for Konsa  too early, I was expecting atleast 80 mins before considering any changes and it was because of switching to a defensive game.

Once you give Argentina the chance to hold on to the ball for long , it’s not going to end well .
There was nothing like counter attacks at all after they switched and I’m so sure that was what they were trying to capitalize on as their strategy, while defending..

What we saw tonight was football of the very highest calibre. We saw what self sabotage looks like, given that England’s attempt at an Italian style catenaccio is unwatchable because they don’t know how to play it, and we saw how to turn a lost match around by putting someone like Messi at the heart of the game, who set up goals for his teammates with remarkable ease. Even though they focused on defending, they still couldn't keep Argentina out. In my opinion, England's defensive performance was extremely poor. They failed to protect their advantage and it ultimately cost them a place in the final.

A massive disappointment for English fans tonight. They were so close of getting through to the final, they only needed to hold on for like ten more minutes, but Argentina scored not one, but two in the last few minutes.
The last time England won the World Cup was in 1966, and the wait continues.
I think focusing on defence after taking the 1-0 lead was not the best idea. England is an offensive team that would apply pressure in most of their games. Changing their style and allowing Argentina to take the initiative made England look like a fish out of water.

Anyhow, Argentina Vs Spain can be a good one. The only two times a national team managed to win the trophy twice in a row were Italy, in 1934 and 1938 and Brazil in 1958 and 1962. If Argentina manage to do that would be quite something and it would be the best possible way for Messi to end his international career.

I think England played very well in the match until they scored, but after scoring, they chose to defend. That was the critical mistake. Instead of defending the goal, they should have worked to score more. If they had looked for more goals, they might have found the second goal through a mistake by Argentina. But even Kane came back to defend, and England completely closed down with all their players. Argentina, on the other hand, is a team that is very good at overcoming closed defenses, as they showed in the Egypt match. They did the same thing against England.

The player of the tournament is definitely Lionel Messi. Whether Argentina wins the cup or not, in my opinion, Lionel Messi will be the most valuable player of the tournament. He deserves the MVP award completely for his performance, especially at almost 40 years old. Age doesn't matter to this man, and he's showing everyone why he's the best in the world.

When hope was almost gone, Messi dreamed again. Messi brought the team victory with two wonderful assists at the last minute. Argentina secured their place in the final again by scoring two goals in just seven minutes. Then for some reason Tuchel decided to park the bus and totally concede all efforts to play football. Argentina to the finals.

This has to be the most annoying and frustrating match I’ve watched since the knockout started, I can’t explain what happened immediately England scored the whole game play changed. I should put my blame on the coach because the sudden defensive style of play opened the game for Argentina to get most of the balls and even get to equalize after so many attempts. This is definitely a failure from the coaching crew. Yes It is understandable to defend when you’re leading but at least not that early and not when you’re leading by just a goal. I think tuchel just paid the price of if failure today you don’t sub off all your attackers to defend against a team that knows how to play like Argentina. I don’t even know what I am writing  but I am really pained after watching this football match.

Those England players wouldn't forgive themselves for a very long time for dabbling off such an opportunity to go through the WC finals after a long decades to when last England came this close in this tournament. Indeed a crucial 10 minutes and England couldn't hold firm just after giving their fans high hopes in the entire 80 minutes of the game.

How Argentina gets to do these returns and get to eventually win each game after trailing behind is something that have always amazed me, and this one now is just the height of my amazement. It's a ground breaking record for Argentina winning all games they have played from group stage to the final without dropping a point. Now it's official, we would be waiting to see a Spain Vs Argentina WC finals.

It was just unbelievable what coach Tuchel did to England today
I can't even believe it

He took out Anthony Gordon, who was playing well and had scored the goal, switched the whole team to a defensive mindset, brought in more defenders, and basically left England just watching Argentina play

What an ugly loss, I can’t believe that the fear of losing or conceding a goal ended up ruining England’s chances of advancing to the final
If they’d kept playing exactly as they started in the second half, they would’ve had good chances to score more goals

I’m not happy with the result, I was counting on England to win, and they had the game at one point but bad decisions by the manager ruined their game. Argentina isn’t Mexico that you can win by parking the bus for over 35 minutes. For someone who was criticizing how the players performed in the last match, he is no good tactically as a manager himself.
