Mbappé has the potential to become the top scorer in this World Cup if he scores again in this match. And I’d be really interestedd to see that happen. because in my opinion, even if France doesn’t win the World Cup, at least one of their key players like Mbappé could once again become the top scorer in the tournament.

At the 2022 World Cup, Mbappé was also the top scorer with a total of 8 goals. and I think it would be truly amazing if Mbappé were to become the top scorer again at this World Cup, perhaps with 9 or 10 goals. The point is that Mbappe can scored goal in today's match and Messi can also score in tomorrow's match, which is the final. We both know what both players can do. So, even though Mbappe scored today, it doesn't mean that he will be the top scorer in this tournament unless we wait until tomorrow to see what happens first.

The only way my mind can calm down that Mbappe will win the Golden Boot is if he is able to score about three goals, which I believe will be hard to do. But scoring one or two goals still won't put my mind at rest because Messi can also score two goals.So, at this point, we can't say who is likely to win the Golden Boot between them. Even though Mbappé had the opportunity to score in today's match, we still have to wait for tomorrow's final before knowing the outcome

England has nothing to do with the final that Spain and Argentina are playing. This is the most absurd nonsense I have read in a long time. To argue that Spain can win it because they are better than England while they play against Argentina. I hope everything is ok with you.

paco92x you have a point but there is an important nuance in your post. You said they "look" much much better and I agree with that, but I have a sneaking feeling that Argentina is underestimated by many. They may know that they are not the stronger football team, but because they know this, the match plan will be ready like it was for England. I am aware that England played their part in their demise when they stopped playing, but Argentina was far more aggressive with the goal to interrupt that match as often as possible to the detriment England, when it was appropriate.

From my perspective, Spain awaits a nasty match loaded with aggression. To believe that Spain will "extinguish that fire with ease fails to do justice to the fact that Argentina is still one of the best football teams in the world. Argentina is not blind, they now studied the France Spain match for dozens of hours and they will have their answers. Whether that is a way to overcome the Spanish dominance, I don't know, but with ease sounds like Spain would beat Argentina at least 2-0 and I don't believe that.

How is this final going to end? Argentina to make their number of trophies equal to Germany and Italy? Or Spain to get their 2nd WC trophy? I believe in Spain to become the champions.  

Kinda crazy how Spain absolutely dominated European football in the last 20 years, won 3 Euro Cups in that period but only one World Cup in the whole history.

Hopefully they will bring a well deserved 2nd world championship home this time.

I completely agree and you know I heard from some people and media that the match between Spain vs Argentina will be different from other matches, I don't know why they said that but there's definitely a reason behind it. Generally I always refer to Sportsbook predictions and so far all Sportsbooks are favoring Spain to win but we have seen how Argentina has managed to come out of the pressure in the last few matches and that's one of the things that requires a champion mentality. I'm a bit undecided on which one to choose, although my gut feeling is slightly towards Spain, the reason is because Spain can rely on all lines I mean don't just focus on 1-2 players.

I'm with you on this. I'm on Spain's side. Out of the four teams, Spain is the only one that I believe has the charisma and teamwork to lift the trophy. Argentina has Messi, along with their relentless aggression and will to win, but I don't think that will be enough against Spain.

in Argentina, football is a passion. those guys deserve it. there isn't a single player who doesn't give it his all or put his heart and soul into the game.

In as much as I don't want to say this, I must admit the fact that Argentina has been doing pretty well,  as a team they have been excellent.

Mbappe's only target should be on winning the golden boot back-to-back and it is possible that he will win it because they have the favorite odd and of course, they are stronger than England. If Mbappe can score two goals i doubt if Lionel Messi can score 2 goals as well in the final against Spain tomorrow because it will be a very tensed final where the goals may not even come from players that we expected. Winning the golden boot will be like a compensation for France and Kylian Mbappe since they couldn't reach the final. If Mbappe doesn't score that means that Lionel Messi and Argentina will likely take everything home because they can win the final while Lionel Messi wins the golden ball and the golden boot since he has 4 assists and 8 goals.

At the moment, most will be in favor of Argentina, but since it is the final, anything can happen here. But there is no doubt that the game is definitely going to be very exciting. I'm expecting Spain to have more ball possession in the final match. Argentina would look for fast counter-attack opportunities. As long as Spain don't leave the ball to their opponent I don't think the opposite will happen.

Spain have better players who can defend Messi. I don't expect him to play as free as he did against England. I'm not sure how this match would end - regular time / penalties - but I'm favouring and betting on Spain for this one.

One thing is very important that both teams have reached the final and neither team will consider the other as weak. In all the head to head matches that Spain and Argentina have faced so far, the statistics of each team are equal, i.e. 50-50. However, Spain's defense is quite strong, due to which it will be very difficult for Argentina to beat the defense. On the other hand, Argentina's defense is weak and it will not be difficult for Spain to beat the defense. However, Argentina has reached the final and they will not want to miss the final in any way. On the other hand, Spain became the champion in football in 2010 and got the opportunity again after a long sixteen years, so Spain will not want to miss this opportunity either.

You're right, paco. I also think Spain is the stronger team in terms of quality, but i believe Argentina is the team that dictates the game on the pitch. They've shown a lot throughout the tournament and overcome some really tough obstacles. I'm rooting for Argentina, but i still expect a fantastic match with, hopefully, plenty of goals. If we get a final like the one in Qatar in 2022, it would be absolutely amazing.

Argentina is the team that doesn't let itself be put down, it won't be put down if it were to lose in the result, Argentina believes in it until the last second and has demonstrated it on several occasions in this World Cup, Spain must not make the mistake of lowering their guard and not creating a drop in tension.

In a finals, you can't be too sure of this kind of prediction because teams are capable of bringing the kind of fire that the other brings to the table. if Argentina steps up big time before the finals, expect that they will even do better in the finals. Spain on their own part is a team you cant write off and wont score and sit back the way ENGLAND did so you want to expect a lot of back and fourth in that game. at the end, if the game doesn't take us to penalty shootout, then just expect that we will see series of goals and counters from both ends.

There are 2 teams ready to go for broke, i predict that Argentina will put more heart into it but at the same time i see a more concentrated Spain and more aware of what winning this trophy could mean for Spain, it will be a match that we hope will give the emotions of a World Cup final.

Isn't messi enough, haha xd. well spain has been fabulous this worldcup and has knocked out many great teams but they surely will have a really hard time against argentina. I honestly will be happy if either of them wins as a messi and barcelomna fan because it is a Win/Win situation for us  wonder who ronaldo fans will support  But if i had to choose between the two it will undoubtedly be Argentina.
