People have their on way of understanding cryptocurrency payment, it's good to set up a business and embrace payment method with cryptocurrency and more especially bitcoin, so i believe that such payment and business point should not be in rural areas of your geographical environment. Because in a rural area not everyone who knows what is Bitcoin and actually know how to make payments with Bitcoin ATM machine neither the POS of Bitcoin, so the plan of business should be something to be established in the urban city so that it will be a magnificent business.

Congratulations dear, people like you are the reason why the government have no choice but to make bitcoin a legal means of payment for goods and services, if every business around the world will take this same bold steps, the government will have no choice, its a matter of time, though 2022 hasnt been friendly to bitcoin and the entire crypto market as a whole, but i believe that in 2023, we will have more goodnews that will help the bitcoin market recover, maybe this will act as an encouragement to many other businesses out there to consider including bitcoin as a means of payments for their services .

Excellent work, which should be respected. It makes no difference right now because you only have three customers who pay in Bitcoin. A lot is written on the Bitcoin embracing sign board. Many clients would seek clarification about it and become interested in Bitcoin. You could teach them or they could do their own research on the internet. However, you are directly adapting Bitcoin. It would undoubtedly benefit your business at times, much like free advertising. People will talk amongst themselves about your business. I hope Bitcoin is legal in your jurisdiction and that you will have no legal problems. Best wishes.

Maybe it's always difficult when we're about to start something and sometimes it won't be very smooth when we start something. That's why we need a process. And to make the process effective and efficient to run, then there are some notes that you need to do
- Do a wider notification about the use of Bitcoin at your merchant.
- Also do research on your surroundings and whether they are already familiar with Bitcoin or not.
- Even if it's only a few people, however, keep making notifications that you accept Bitcoin as a means of payment so that later more and more people will know about Bitcoin and maybe learn about it.

It's not easy, but the process needs to be tried, especially when you have had this desire for a long time and now you are starting to realize it.

I think this is indeed an achievement worth appreciating in the effort to develop the bitcoin community and spread awareness about bitcoin insights. Accepting payments with bitcoins can attract the curiosity of your store's customers. those who are not familiar with bitcoin will definitely start asking about bitcoin and how it is used. It's not really doing any tremendous impact since it ain't generally accepted as a MEDIUM of exchange though but, it's gonna go a long way in giving apathetic customers -- the guts to venture in it.... AFAIK, no customer would confirm a trade in Bitcoin without having an idea or even getting into it at first. Except you've got alot of BTC users there, you're not gonna be having this everytime.

Would be interesting to know how many customers per month request paying in Bitcoin.  I always believed we are actually a very small community, smaller than we even imagine.  Whenever I go to a shop that mentions they accept Bitcoin payments I feel like I have been the first in the last year to even contemplate it.

Anyway, to be frank, why would I be paying in Bitcoin rather than in straight cash? What's in it for me? If I pay in cash, that's hassle-free, instant, and so on.

I think giving even a small discount might entice people to choose Bitcoin over fiat. So, instead of just putting up 'Bitcoin accepted here', it might be better to put up '5% discount for those who pay in Bitcoin'. Well, that's if you're willing to let go of a small slice of your revenue for Bitcoin payments' sake.

Great job right there, I've seen an increasing number of people in this community who's into business and willing to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. These are all well-appreciated from our fellow Bitcoiners in this community.
It would also be great if you can also share your products in this community, like you for example, you're a fashion designer, you might wanna post some of your best designs and sell it for a fraction of Bitcoin. Who knows, someone in here might get interested, at least you're in the perfect place to find such target market and expand the reach of your business online.

Exactly, you understand the part where no one will be willing to trade what they don't understand 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I see some comments saying I only have three, it took me months to make sure I teach them what they need to know about crypto and Bitcoin before investing their money and also the benefits that comes with it when holding. I am not in rush to have many people as possible, it's not thats easy.

We can't blame those that still have their eyebrows raised for bitcoin and thinks that it's a scam or nonsense thing on the internet. They'll be left behind don't worry and for the actions that they do right now, it's not going to be worth it until they start making questions to themselves and they'll have the idea that they should have invested earlier.

Besides, they never know what is a scam for them. They only just make assumptions but actually, they don't have an idea about Bitcoin in the first place as they just rely on what they heard online or rumors from their friends. But I see that some people are able to change the outlook of Bitcoin from these people who say it was a scam and proved to them that they are wrong. We can leave them anyway, sooner they will find it wrong by themselves.

Just like what OP does, it is a need for us to move and show to the public that Bitcoin is another form of currency and has to be accepted in all establishments in the future.

How do various government agencies feel about what you charge bitcoin?

How do you account for these earnings (even if there were only 3 payments with btc)?

I ask this because your "money-making haven" is most likely registered and pays some kind of income tax.

Of course, people will call bitcoin a scam until they try it themselves and understand what it is and what opportunities can be obtained. The best way to understand this is to be able to pay for a product or service using btc. But it seems to me that only people who are very enthusiastic about the idea of bitcoin may be interested in this, because putting your hand in your pocket and getting the cash is easier and faster. Even though paying with a smartphone allows you to do it a little slower, it requires preliminary preparation and familiarity with bitcoin technology.

But your customers look like tailors why is it that all of them have the measurement tape? Are you sure what you are saying. If it is true the you are Well done. Also your images are big so reduce them a little bit. And don't show the images of your persons again, respect their identity. Go and teach more then you will become a vendor in your locality. Three persons are not enough although for the Start. The way the thread is, it looks like a merit fishing, show the transaction the three customers made...

Those are my apprentices not my customers.. In my country Bitcoin isn't legalized yet so I don't want to have this on a billboard or signboard just yet, as for those saying I need to do more to inspire people do not forget the risks involved.

There is no point inspiring those that show no interest in something that's highly volatile, I only lecture those that are open to new ideas and are not scared of taking risks.

I don't have to become a vendor I am just promoting Bitcoin, I have 80% of my money invested in crypto and it's been a long time coming, this was what even inspired my customers, asking me questions and telling me to teach them.

Merit fishing you say? I hope this forum implements video uploading someday so forum members will see a lot more, I have 5 apprentices and 1 was behind the camera taking my picture with 2 of my apprentice, do I look too young to be interacting with Bitcoin? You have no idea.

OP, it's not worth proving anything to anyone, especially your transactions. Why is this? It's just that Agbe played cop because sometimes it happens that some people start to exaggerate their stories.
But in truth, on the forum, anyone can come up with a story about traveling to the moon, and it is only the right of another person to believe it or not.
But for you, OP, I wish you advancement in business. I really respect your people, and I wonder how you all promote Bitcoin to the masses. I have said many times that I quietly envy such volunteering. In my country, it is simply impossible to accept bitcoin for sale or purchase; severe punishment will immediately follow.
I wish you luck in finding even more clients and educating even more followers of Bitcoin in the New Year.

You have a wonderful initiative to teach your apprentice about bitcoin and also accepting it as an alternative payment method in your fashion shop. Bitcoin is considered a medium of exchange in my country that is why a private company named Pouch intend one of our popular tourist destinations to be a Bitcoin Island, the Boracay Island.

Going back to the topic, I believe @OP is just starting up and I really applaud her for her courage to set up a store that accepts Bitcoin even though her country is somehow skeptical of where it wanted to stand on the Bitcoin issue.  It should be a tight situation when @OP needs to educate her client on the use of Bitcoin as payment so I think @OP need to prepare a step-by-step instruction on how to use Bitcoin as payment, print it out in a tarpaulin and post it on the wall of the store in a place where a client can easily read it but would not block customer who is looking around. You can give incentives to those who will try to pay in Bitcoin (can allocate some percentage of the profit in form of a discount).

It would be sensible if they would be posting up or sharing their stories for something or have that hidden intent behind which i dont really believe that much.There's no point on doing that unless if he do ask
out something on the community.I know that there are people who cant just easily trust up on what are the things that they do able to read up online but lets just be not that too paranoid
because going into that certain extent do make you dubious everytime.

Congratulations on your success, I appreciate it because until now I haven't been able to achieve it, but after seeing what you are doing I am even more motivated.

Just an advice for you, make sure to make a public notice that could serve as a sign post or billboard to brand your fashion design with the acceptance of bitcoin for payment and also make like little palmflet showing the details and procedures to how one can make the payment with bitcoin and I don't know if you have also included the lightening network payment mode inclusive or better still to consider such in due time, this will also move your business forward and make payment for your services at more convenient with customers ready to pay in bitcoin.

Of course, billboards will be very useful for product promotion, and by attaching the bitcoin logo or including the words "Accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment" this will also make other people interested in asking and looking for what bitcoin is. Apart from billboards, maybe you can use social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and others to increase your marketing reach.

Congrats that your dream became reality and it happened because of your determination to spread awareness through your own way to accept Bitcoin as payment. If many people there still don't have idea about it, then what you did is the reason for them to know what Bitcoin is.

I hope your business will become a huge success so that you can influence the people in your area to use Bitcoin not only as currency but as an investment as well. But this will only possible if they're interested to know the nature of Bitcoin since having a better understanding is a must too.

For now I think there are very many people who use bitcoin or altcoins who dream like you, because it is indeed appropriate for bitcoin as a legal means of payment, and I also salute you for being only a fashion designer but can rely on bitcoin as a means of payment in your place, even though currently customers who pay bitcoin are still limited, you have to create a promotion that can attract other customers to design clothes in your place and make payments using bitcoin.
