What I would like to know is how come you only support USDT on Ethereum chain (which can have high fees ) at the moment and when exactly do you plan to add bitcoin?

Anyway, I am glad to see more services like yours (even though yours ain't cheap at all) as it benefits us users, I just hope that you are legit. I guess time will tell.

Edit: since you just started the business and have no reputation here, have you thought about sort of promotion in which you will give people  small amount of money to test your card?

Some thoughts:

From your T&C

CoinPayCard reserves the right to modify or terminate the service at any time, without notice.
Seriously? You more or less said that at any time you can take the money and run.

You have coinpaycard.com in some parts of your site and .net on other.

https://coinpaycard.net/support goes nowhere.

No physical address / business information given.

You are going to have to address these issues or nobody is going to want to risk sending you any money.

Also with the base of $99 / year 4% + $1.50 for cards you can go to a place like egifter.com and get $100 vanilla visa cads for $105.95 and come out at about the same place in terms of price. You should look into getting that lower. I know a gift card is different then a debit card, but you still have to look at the out of pocket cost to people.

That’s not what our Terms says. We have the right like any other company/service you use to suspend our service if we need. Your money will be always yours, and in the case we need to shutdown ( not likely) you will always receive your money back. We are just transparent.

You refer to our footer copyright bottom, thanks for that we fixed the small human mistake.

Correct, we don’t have any company information on our website. Fortunately we will keep it that way for now.

As you probably guessed, there is a big difference between a prepaid card and debit cards. The cost of debit cards are also much different. Not to forget our spending limits are higher, you can use our cards worldwide, in a couple of weeks you can add your card to Apple/Google pay. We have carefully and for a long time thought about our card pricing to make it affordable for a lot of users and profitable enough for use to continue this service for years. And yes we understand that at this moment, we may not be the best choice for everybody. But we hope to lower our overall pricing in the near future.

Few thought and question,
1. Can we really use this card worldwide? Are there any exception (such as sanctioned country by US government)?
2. Do you have any plan to offer virtual credit card?
3. I feel $99/year or more is too expensive for those who rarely use debit card.
4. I didn't find privacy policy page on your website. Even though you offer KYC-FREE, some people want to know what other information you collect.

Hi EFTBitcoin,

1. You can use our card online everywhere as long as Visa is accepted. When Apple/Google Pay will be available, it will depend on the store if they accept Apple/Google Pay.
2. We don't offer any credit, we are not a bank.
3. 99$/Y for a $2000/Monthly limit is a bargain if you compare our cards to competitors.
4. Privacy policy is yet to be uploaded. Keep in mind, we don't collet any private information. That includes no IP tracking, no cookies and no fingerprinting.

Btw guys, use the discount code: 479ea80d-90e0-46ee-9979-269e37fee3c0 for $10 OFF your first card.

Few things I don't like about Coinpaycards from start.
First, it only supports USDT on ethereum network and that usually means higher fees and dealing with more shitcoins.
This is probably done because USDT is pegged to USD dollar, but I would like to see Bitcoin and privacy coins used, and some people probably want USDT on other blockchains, including omni chain and second layer Liquid chain USDT.

Second thing, I think that $99 to $499 fee for one year is to much for service that can shut down anytime, and there would be nothing customers could do, including getting refunds.
I already saw this happening with similar services that deal with anonymous cards, so there is realistic chance this could happen, and this competition didn't ask for any yearly payment for cards.

I would have to test and see how this cards work in real life, but this was my initial feedback after visiting your website.
I am also thinking about privacy and who exactly is tracking purchases and delivery addresses connect with that.

Few additional questions:
- What name will be written on card and are there any plans to make physical cards in future?
- What would happen if someone sends USDT or other coins to Coinpaycards, and they are reported to come from hacked exchanges??
- What third parties are you using to convert USDT (and other coins) to USD?

At least give us some free cards to test it out first.
Also who is your card issuer?

Hi dkbit98, thank you for your constructive feedback. This will always help us ensure to create a good and reliable platform for crypto users.
Let me answer your questions below.

At this time we only support USDT, But we will support the following cryptocurrencies within the next 2 weeks: BTC, ETH, USDC, LTC and DOGE (maybe even more).
In the case that we would ever shut down (will not happen) you will receive 100% of your remaining funds back. We have good contracts with multiple card issuers. So there will be always a place for us.

1. We of course display every purchase you made, you can also see all your card purchases in your card history tab. However, we don't receive your delivery address data from any retailer. Not even a bank receives those details.

2. When signing up, you will need to enter a first and last name. These data will be your cardholder details.
3. If you send any stole coins, our payment processer will automatically block that specific transaction if that wallet is blacklisted. We are not a platform for laundering stole coins. Simple as that.
4. We use a variety of 3rd parties, for example Coinbase institutional  and Binance.

If you have any more questions, please let me know.

No, that is not what kind of service we provide. A user can buy/fund Virtual Debit cards with USDT. When funding your card with USDT, your card will be instant funded and ready to use.

We would love to provide some free cards to reputable BitcoinTalk users to test out the service free of charge.

Let me clarify this, what exactly means when you say that transaction will be blocked if wallet is blacklisted?

Imagine someone is sending coins that originate from stolen coins and Binance/Coinbase blacklisted them.
Customer registers account on your CoinPayCard website and sends coins to generated address, what happens next exactly?
Can this coins be frozen or seized in any way by you or third parties?

Someone asked for a test card, try and give a few free cards so people can vouch that your service is working.
But trusting an online entity without a physical address with money is beyond stupid, just saying.

This question is a bit off-topic.

So to be clear, no, we don't accept any stole coins. If somebody uses a wallet that is blacklisted to buy/fund a card, the coins will be frozen by the 3rd party handling our payments. What then will happen next
is not something we have experienced, and I'm not sure. So i won't be the right person to provide information about that procedure. I can only guess that law enforcement will be contacted in order to return those coins to their respect owners, I guess.

It says in your site that when we give you crypto you charge the card with USD, that means exchange/trading usdt for USD. You failed to answer about your card issuer though.

Understandable, as I responded to your question: We would love to provide some free cards to reputable BitcoinTalk users to test out the service free of charge.
P.s. we don't share our card issuer, that is private information.

Excuse me but this is not off-topic at all.
Your customer would be sending coins to you directly and since you didn't mention anything about third parties on your website, they could lose their coins.
Exchanges can flag or blacklist coins for various stupid reasons, and they don't have to give any proof or explanation, this includes coins used for gambling or coins coming from mixer or coinjoin.
Better think about that in advance, or use some different methods to deal with this.

the coins will be frozen by the 3rd party handling our payments. What then will happen next is not something we have experienced, and I'm not sure.
Better be sure, because they are certainly going to ask for kyc verification or other private information.

Hello dkbit98,

We are talking here about plain sight stolen coins in a wallet, you never mentioned coins coming from gambling or mixing. These coins will ofcourse not be blacklisted. I think everybody that uses crypto knows if they have stolen coins, they won't send it to any service directly.

So if you have stolen coins in a wallet that is blacklisted, no matter what service or website you will use. Your funds will not come true. If you have coins from gambling or mixing, who cares. You can use these coins.
Please don't twist our words.

But again, till the whole conversation is absolutely off-topic. We are not a service to be used for illegal activities, such as money laundering.

Binance and Coinbase obviously care about this!
Sorry but you obviously don't know what you are talking about, or you just recently started dealing with crypto, but I can show you many examples of coins being seized for reasons I mentioned above.
I am not twisting anyone words, since I asked initial question and I know what I meant to say.
Good luck with your cards, and don't say later that I didn't warn you about this in advance.

Hi dkbit98, thank you for your advice. I can assure you that we have years of experience using, handling and building on crypto, so I can brag a little that we are experts in this field.

There are several types of service that these 3rd party provides. Please go to their website, and you may find more information about their service. If you used the costumer side
of Coinbase for example, their Exchange YOU are maybe limited in what coins you can send and from where. We don't use consumer grade services, we use Institutional level services, which gives us much more power in what kind of transactions we can accept and how. We also don't use their service to directly accepted payments from users. Furthermore, we use our own internal relay system. That means user pay first to us -> then coins are sent to a 3rd party service provider (also called off-ramps) in order to exchange the coins to for example USD in real-time. However, the moment you send a payment, there is and will be always a check to verify that the wallet you used is not blacklisted by any government entity. Not doing so would make us money launders, and banks wouldn't work with us to issue cards. This is explained as simple as possible, but the systems and infrastructure behind the scenes are more complicated than you would guess.

I hope this clears it more up for you.

Are you affiliated with visa? If you are then how could they issue cards KYC free or allow anyone to provide a free KYC service using their name and network of payment?

If you are not affiliated with them, how can you claim that your cards work every where that visa is accepted?

Note for potential users of this service: read the terms, they are clearly stating that there is no guaranty/warranty for their service to work, so that means you should not trust a service which offers zero guaranty of providing a reliable service.

A red flag, I wouldn't vouch for such service if I were a reputable forum member. Moreover, forum reputation is not credible at all whatsoever.

Hello digaran,

Let me answer your questions.

No, we are not affiliated with VISA, as we are NOT a bank. We work with card issuers to issue our cards. You can google it more to figure out how that works.
Every website/service even BitcoinTalk.org cannot guarantee that their service will work 100% of the time. There can be a dozen of reason why a service disruption would be happening, for example our hosting provider
gets cut of electricity. Our card issuer suffers from a disturbance, our payment system API is out. We are just a transparent about the availability of our service as we can be. And we of course don't expect such things to happen, these things happen to the best.

Moreover, we are new on this forum and our service is new. Ass we said in our pre-announcement and in the announcement text.
