For this fuel scarcity matter eeh, I go like talk am as e be based on say I dey into the game and I understand the reason why e be like this.
First of all, na our president wey be minister for petroleum be the reason behind fuel scarcity for naija and the reason wey make em do wetin em do na so that em people wey be politicians especially em party members APC to get beta money wey dem go take do election for this 2023.

Our Presidoo allocated the supply of fuel for one particular depot for naija wey be Masters Energy knowing too well say if all the depot wey dey naija work the supply of fuel go dey easy and all the fuel station go sell for normal price our oga do the magic so that master energy go only get fuel and plenty fuel station go lack fuel because line up go dey among tankers to see fuel even if dem increase the price of fuel.

Personally, I go let us know say I dom dey master energy for PH for 7 days now dey wait for the turn but I never fit load fuel even after I pay additional 100k wey (NUPENG) charge just for you to pack tanker inside depot still no way for me because of the plenty tanker wey dey wait make dem attend to dem also. The price of fuel na #237 per liter for the depot but na the bribe and delay wey station owners dey encounter as dem go depot to buy fuel na em make fuel cost inside naija for now. I go still update us for here if any other thing happen from tomorrow concerning fuel matter for our country naija.

Abeg,make una  no vex o,I won know who dey always make the fuel scarce ? Whether na tanker drivers or na federal government or filling stations owners.

I no think say federal government dey follow for this one unless e reach strike time wey tanker drivers go strike. Mainly na always issue between Depot and filling station dem. E fit be say depot wan increase price for selling so now filling station owners wey wan cashout go come hoard their fuel so when depot increase their price dem fit come sell their old supply for a higher prices then get better gain (this na one of the reason fuel Scarcity dey come about).

Now no be say fuel no dey but who when sell at a cheap price now when they fit sell later at a higher price. The next one be say depot dun give update say fuel no dey so now filling station go come hoard the current fuel wey dem get so dem fit they sell at a higher price when fuel scarcity come as depot never get supply or depot dun get compass to sell to only specific filling station like NNPC. The whole thing dey dey depot their hand, na dem dey cause everything mainly then follow by tanker drivers then filling station owners.

Regarding the matter of petrol, I got a litre of petrol today for 350naira and from wetin dey see so e dey be like say the price go hard to return to that 160-180 wey we been dey vex dey buy before. Na 300 a litre nai people dey mostly reason say the price go dey. If you do business in these conditions, now na the best time to adjust the prices of your things because things dey expensive for market and whether or not you dey use fuel directly or not, you go must dey affected.

When I think of this fuel scarcity issue, I just wonder why we have had so many cases of fuel scarcity with the present administration than we dun see with the past, abi na lie?

Today I was thinking that fuel subsidy would have been removed in Goodluck's time because at that time fuel price #97 per liter so if they removed it by then when fuel price was very low, now fuel price would have #150. Because the marketer would like to increase their prices to to meet up their demand but now that they are selling fu at the rate #300 per liter and fuel subsidy is totally removed then poor business people e no go buy fuel again. Dem tell us say Nigeria no get any functional refinery, say dem dey carry our crude oil go abroad go refine am then bring am back to our country. Na wicked people on authority just dey frustrate this blessed nation. No be say we no get what it takes to maintain our refineries, e get people wey dey profit from the crude oil as dem ship am abroad and ship am back to naija just as some people dey profit from the Boko Haram insecurities in the north. The thing is, oil marketers have been the problem of Nigeria's upstream petroleum sector, ever since its inception, the government is just a victim just like the citizens who suffered from various impacts of this unlawful practice of oil marketers just for their corrupt intentions as their aided by government officials who cooperate with the marketers to steal from government fuel subsidy is their tools to take from government and price increase is their means of robbing citizens and to achieve that.
The oil marketers create artificial fuel scarcity to force the citizen's into buying at high price due to availability of the product.

Petrol May Hit N800/Litre On Subsidy Removal – Marketers

As the scarcity of the Premium of Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, continued on Sunday, oil marketers have stated that the cost of the commodity would cross N800/litre once subsidy on PMS is removed.

Industry operators had repeatedly stated that the high cost of subsidy on petrol was a burden on the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and was contributory to the prolonged crisis in the downstream oil sector. NNPC is the sole importer of petrol into Nigeria.

The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, recently suggested that the government should gradually withdraw subsidy on PMS, stressing that the budgetary allocation for subsidy would end in June.

But oil marketers told our correspondent that while it could be advisable to remove subsidy, Nigerians should know that the cost of petrol could cross N800/litre once the commodity was no longer subsidised.

They urged the Federal Government to ensure that all the necessary measures and infrastructure to ensure a less stressful subsidy removal regime were put in place before implementing the decision.

“If the government fails to take the appropriate measures, and they say they want to remove fuel subsidy, the situation will be worse than this, the masses will suffer. How can you remove subsidy and you don’t have this product (petrol),” the Secretary, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Abuja-Suleja, Mohammed Shuaibu, stated.

He added, “If the government removes subsidy, where is the product? If you are removing subsidy, maybe by that time, the way diesel is sold at between N800 – N900/litre, we could be buying petrol at N800/litre, if not more than that.

“This is because the product will be scarce, even from the government cycle. So the government should tell Nigerians the truth about this fuel supply crisis. It is not a problem caused by marketers.”

Shuaibu said oil marketers were ready to sell, stressing that when marketers got products a few weeks ago, the queues disappeared.

“But as it is today, you have black marketers everywhere selling with jerrycans and you will ask, where are the security agencies and the regulators?” he asked.

The IPMAN official added, “By tomorrow they will claim that it is the fault of the marketers. How? We are businessmen and every businessman wants to make a profit. You know the law of supply and demand. When the product is scarce, prices will rise, and vice versa.”

According to FG, so the high cost running fuel subsidy na em the contribute to the prolonged crisis for the oil sector and they refuse to build our own refinery since they already know that.

Thank God sae this present administrator their time to go don reach. Make we see wetin the next government go do. Whether na to remove fuel subsidy or not, or to find another alternative entirely

I think say this fuel matter done come back to Normal, na wa for this kind country oo wey we dey. This fuel thing done inflate the price of many things oo, even some states wey there fuel prices dey ok them done increase transport by almost 50% self.. I no know where the country dey go with this kind fuel increase and scarcity.

I went to delta state last week I no believe say I spend 15k for only transport within the state oo. This shit is just tiring and needs urgent attention and solutions.

Sometimes I ask myself questions. How can Nigeria the giant of Africa and a oil producing nation be running shortage of products unnecessarily? Product price hike, hoarding of products etc all these bothers alot. Is it that our leaders are bereft of ideas  on how to navigate the petroleum industry or what? It is saddened that atvthis level we are still experiencing scarcity of fuel. What a miasma! O sorry for Nigeria. This morning product was sold at #300 and last week I saw on one of the dailies that the federal government has reduced or approved the new pump price to #185. How come they are still selling above that pump price. Anyways, private stations are doing there own while the federal government are doing there's.
There are lots of questions yet to be answered by our leaders. When the appropriate time comes, they would be made to answer the questions they have been running away from.
