for me gambling is only for entertainment as well as testing my luck  
So far I only gamble on football and I also don't place high bets (maybe only $10) because for me gambling is just entertainment not to get money. for me it is better to use money for future investment than for gambling, for that reason why I only gamble small value and not get addicted to gambling.

It's great if you could do it now because that's a way we can do to prevent using more money in gambling. Placing sports bets is a form of entertainment usually done by many people, especially if there is a certain event like the World Cup yesterday. But usually, people forget that their goal is to test their luck and I hope you won't either.

For me, it is just something to pass a little time but also looking for opportune mispricing by sports betting sites and often taking advantage of free bets. I could easily ignore gambling forever but it does provide a small income with a bit of patience. I never found any interest in casino game gambling which has no skill element and is engineered to sap all your money given enough time. There drive is I can accrue a few hundred per year which can be spent on other more productive things.

Agreed! Just like everyone out there, if I said I gamble for fun I would be lying, we all gamble with a motive to come out profitable  and not to have fun losing money   the fun only comes when you winning.. that's for a fact!

You are really more stressed if the money you used is the money that is already reserved for your expenses. Almost every gambler is not taking the advantage for gambling with fun for granted because it's what give the joy they always needed to make life with fun, even to an extent, some gamblers don't mind the promotional bonus weather it's been given or not as long as gambling itself is all about creative thinking of possibilities and an act of taking risk, the only thing I see as a bit challenging is when gamblers don't have enough money to gamble and they are desiring for a particular bet they are very sure of, also in other words, one can also gambles with the smallest or little amount he has with him because it does not require a big amount to stake with before you can enjoy gambling.

That is one the main aim of gambling. Just like me, I have tried my best to be but all in vain. Probably I not so much interested in gambling because anytime I tried my best to play a gamble, I have not come home a win so that also contributed to my uninteresting. But to play different games on laptop and phone is my best way to while time. I have not enter slot game room or hall to play slot games but sport is the ones I normally play.

Yes you are right that mate and that is reality as we all know once a gambler get addicted they  are only realize when there are one scenario in their life that they can not forget, for example from rich to poor, from lucky to in lucky then there's a chance that they can realize that they are alewsy addicted to gambling. I think friends can motivate us to play gambling, but we still have to be able to take care of ourselves as long as we play gambling and are responsible for our money. We cannot allow ourselves to have fun with friends while we are almost out of money at the gambling table and we should be the ones who have to remind our friends not to suffer too many losses.

You can really be lucky to have a wife who motivates you to gamble because not many people with wives will do the same to their husbands. Most wives will be angry and sad to see their husbands go gambling or use their own money to play gambling.

I feel like it is different situations in that regard, like if you are talking about gambling against your friends, that is rarely a high amount because they would be scared of losing too much money as well. I have played poker with my friends for years now and we never go overboard, and that is usually the way we do things together, which means I would be losing very little if I lose, since others do not want to increase the stakes fearing they might lose too.

It all starts by someone wanting to try gambling and to have fun yet when they start in a way where they lose big money and they want to recover it,they chase loses and by doing so they risk of becoming addicted.The motive is usually for someone to try something different,having fun at gambling but things precipitate in a really fast way during gambling and thus the risk of someone becoming addicted is really common in such behavior.Unfortunately is also true that it can turn one life upside down really fast,so despite the initial motive maybe to have fun the risks to change your life for the worse is really big and present here.

I am quite happy with your confession. I think, we are gambling addicts. in fact, to this day we are still gambling. basically, I grew up in an environment that was no stranger to gambling. At that time, almost all gambling was completely traditional even if there was a land casino. only at certain locations, and even then the only one in our city center.

however, often with age and experience I have my own definition of gambling. I think many people don't realize it, the problem is that most people play gambling just to get as many wins as possible. I also like poker, before seviral slots now. it seems like almost all types of gambling, I've played.

until finally, I figured out for myself what I was gambling for. this question, gamblers rarely realize. if it's for money, the fact is I'm working and get monthly money as salary. so what for, for fun. but what needs to be remembered, with a budget that has been prepared to lose. if we win, it means we're lucky and that's a real bonus from a fun hobby. if you lose, simply quit and come back another time. and I guess, that's how I view gambling.

I commented on this in another topic, if you consider yourself addicted it means that the person has already been to a doctor and it was the doctor who consulted you, analyzed and came to the conclusion that the person unfortunately suffers from addiction to gambling, but for the person goes to the doctor in most cases and because the person starts selling things from his house or work or from relatives or friends or even anything he finds on the street to be able to continue playing, if you haven't reached the level of stealing yet, sell goods whether yours or other people's to keep playing so you're not addicted to gambling

maybe you're just a person who just felt a little more willing to gamble and since you still have control of yourself then you haven't reached the level of being considered addicted to gambling, but you always have to try on yourself even for how long can you live without gambling, this is a very important test because you will be able to know if you are addicted to gambling or can you live normally without gambling

I’m an occasional gambler and I just gamble every time I have extra money which I think making money drives me to gamble more, and some times just a way of spending my free time. I consider gambling as for fun only and not so serious about it, I’m not expecting that much as well about making profit I just go with the flow and consider my luck as my basis to avoid any greed and addiction.
