No, nothing in yet, still sitting pending. I will give it till afternoon and chase - which aware wont bode well.
Pending on the casino website you mean? This means they haven't actually sent the transaction yet. Some sites wait for several customers to withdraw and then batch all the transactions together. You'll probably just have to wait longer. Once the transaction is actually broadcast you'll see the coins show up in your Electrum wallet - first as "unconfirmed", and then they will confirm a little later, depending on the state of the network at the time.

Ok re same address then ( if all goes to plan ), so i will simply copy and paste the exact same address i just did yesterday then..and request the final monies.
Correct.

update -well the casino states 'accepted' my withdrawal and money deducted from my casino account. couple hundred.

This was earlier this morning. Just checked my Electrum wallet..and..nothing in there.  Does it appear in a specific place?  do i click on something?  i dont want to 'search' in the wallet too much as i dont know what im doing and not wanting to 'delete' anything.

But, certaintly, under 'receive' nothing appears - just the same as it looked before.
URI
ADDRESS  - shows the address which i gave to the casino.
LIGHTENING ( ? )

Receive queue - has the date/name i called it / expires in now 4days.

Anywhere it could be sitting?  you mentioned 'confirm'  - cannot see any of that.  Before i go back to casino and 'complain'.

it does say, 'update to Electrum 4.3.3 is avaiable?   Shall i click the update?

I did close it down yesterday and open it today - as mentioned - nothings changed.

( i went into coins and addresses...doesnt state anything different..no coins etc )

Further update....

Although waiting on your kind replies..... I chased with the casino help there , and was told, below,

"........The funds were debited from your account and sent to the payment provider of your region for the further transaction. It will reach your btc wallet up to 5 days. ..."

they went on, ".....Since all requests are being processed on a first basis, first come, it may take for a while. We kindly ask you to wait for the notification from the cryptocurrency application.   "

SO - i was led to believe, and yourself did say as well, that really this should come through instantly really.

SO..thoughts?

My 1 concern is....that address expires now in '4days'....  so.....what does that mean?

I am reluncant to make my final withdraw, and will wait ( i have no choice have i!!!! )  - BUT, should i change the 'expire' to ...'never expire'?..can i alter that?  IF..i withdraw again, can i alter it / should i alter it?   what is all this about 'payment provider'  - are they just messing me about?   fair enough mastercard ( the payment provider technical difficulites malarky )..but WHO is the payment provider in BTC case?  They have taken the money out of my casino account...approved it......and ..now....waiting....

Could you take a screenshot of the specified screen, while censoring any sensitive data to protect privacy?

This was earlier this morning. Just checked my Electrum wallet..and..nothing in there.  Does it appear in a specific place?  do i click on something?  i dont want to 'search' in the wallet too much as i dont know what im doing and not wanting to 'delete' anything.

You can view all transactions into and out of your wallet in the History tab.

it does say, 'update to Electrum 4.3.3 is avaiable?   Shall i click the update?

As a general practice, it is advisable to keep your software up-to-date. However, in this specific case, updating the software wouldn't make a difference.

SO - i was led to believe, and yourself did say as well, that really this should come through instantly really.

Transactions on the bitcoin network are typically visible immediately upon being initiated, and most are subsequently confirmed within a few minutes to a few hours. The confirmation time can vary depending on the current state of the network and the transaction fee amount.

SO..thoughts?

It's difficult to provide an opinion without knowing which casino you're referring to and how they handle payouts, so it would be helpful if you could share a link to their terms of service.

My 1 concern is....that address expires now in '4days'....  so.....what does that mean?

Your addresses never expire and can be used to receive payments indefinitely.

I have never known of a site to send money to another service first before sending it to you, but I suppose it could be possible. All seems very shady to me though.

Once the bitcoin is actually sent, it should show up (albeit as "unconfirmed") in your Electrum wallet instantly. You'll see it on the "History" tab.

My 1 concern is....that address expires now in '4days'....  so.....what does that mean?
It's completely irrelevant. The expiry is an internal function of Electrum to help you keep track of payment requests you have made. It makes absolutely no difference to you receiving payments and it does not matter if it expires. You can ignore it.

There is nothing else you can do at the moment except wait 5 days and see if they actually make the transaction or if they are scammers.

I've edited my previous reply. Based on my understanding of the situation, it seems that the only option available is to wait.
There's no need to worry about your addresses expiring. They remain valid indefinitely.

Although, I agree with o_e_l_e_o, the whole situation sounds suspicious. When will we find out which casino it is?

Why then does it clearly state, in my electon wallet, STATUS - expires in 4days.  And i could chose , never expire or 1day or 7days expire.

Just as i ..have to wait.. want to make sure that at the last minute 'address expired' so they cannot complete the 'process' of sending me any 'coins' via their 'payment provider' ( my worry is this payment provider is the one which is to blame for stopping me withdrawing to mastercard ' technical issues via payment provider'.

As for your continual comment re 'what casino'. I have made it very clear, i can understand you asking, but as im in communication with them im not prepared to comment BUT, as i keep saying, they are the 'same' as so many 'not on gamstop' casinos.  Plenty Of Fish, Midnight Wins, Yummy Wins, Magic Win, Milky Wins...literally they use THE EXACT SAME setup. The same layout, games, the same standard email responces. I think they operate without a licence, whether they 'loan' the site i have no idea.  I have ( sadly ) been on most of them, and deposited money, enjoyed the slots, my 'hobby' if you like. Once i withdrew, and it worked, with a little effort. But mostly i just lose.  As mentioned, this time, i want to see it through and withdraw...and having these difficulties.

I apprecaite all your replies and help and advice. i was hoping I was going to check my Electon today and be asking, i have the money how can i covert it too cash!!!..instead..im been fobbed out and told to wait longer!!....its only a few hundred euros, around 350...so converting to pounds, bitcoin fees etc etc..who knows...but..im this far..and want to see it through. Actually annoying me trust be told. Complaints will be lodged about casino - fwiw.

SO, thanks again.  I was told on here, that instant really..so all this waiting...is ridicolous...but perhaps..you might think, yes, you can wait sometimes...so not unusual.

Time will tell.

Please let me know though about that 'expires' , despite what your saying...i really dont want it too expire..if i can alter it now? expires 4days, they say wait 5days.
EDIT - I re-read your replies - OK - i understand now about expires..ok, if your saying no need to worry about that, then i wont. the latest reply below,  ( i asked why the wait );

"...Since the funds were sent to the payment provide for the further transaction, it may take very fast to reach your btc wallet, but only after it will be sent on it by the providers.  .."

yep, these are the people im dealing with!!!

EDIT - I re-read your replies - OK - i understand now about expires..ok, if your saying no need to worry about that, then i wont.

It is only related to your payment request that you created (consider it something like a payment order). While payment requests are not strictly required in Bitcoin transactions, they can make the process simpler by providing a recipient with all the necessary information for payment in a single request.

I believe that some members have previously mentioned that you can obtain your receiving BTC address from the list in the Addresses tab, without the need to create a payment request.

the latest reply below,  ( i asked why the wait );

"...Since the funds were sent to the payment provide for the further transaction, it may take very fast to reach your btc wallet, but only after it will be sent on it by the providers.  .."

yep, these are the people im dealing with!!!

This is exactly why I said that the entire process appears suspicious. Please note that this has nothing to do with Bitcoin transactions. If the payment had been made and the transaction completed, you would already see the BTC in your wallet.

Well, the very latest reply, is below ( not that i want to duplicate but when logging back into this forum i read through a few replies to my previous thread..how to convert to cash...keeping an open mind here..and hoping against hope..i will someday actually get my bicoins from them ),

BUT - going by what your saying...yes...sounds unlikely right, latest reply;

"..Your withdrawal already was completed from the our side, so for now it's being processed by the payment provider of your region. Please wait for any update from your payment application..."

I mean..its all rubbish isnt it really. Provider in your region...just rubbish...i dont understand as you know bitcoin/wallets..but even going by what you an others ( and they themselves have said in past re how quick it is )...all rubbish re my regional payment providers!!!!  I sent them an address, as you all mentioned to do, thats it. Simple.

Nothing showing my my electron wallet.

But..back is against the wall, what can i do. I have 'poliety' asked them to clarify the situation...and these are the types of replies im getting. So...just have to see.

I will update this thread. Im a betting man...the odds that i come back and say, ' transaction cancelled due to payment provider techincal issues' ..

As I wait for my..regional service provider..to validate my withdraw....curious to know. My electon walletsittinf on my desktop. It feels..detached so to speak. I suppose the lack of activity is the reason. Just sitting there no figures coming in or out....so..it is live right?  Everytime I log in in theory it would auto update...should I receive anything.  Also I don't plan to request another withdrawal until I receive this first one..but when I do can I just take the same address..even though 3days expires? I know what you have said that addresses don't really expire.

Why then does it clearly state, in my electon wallet, STATUS - expires in 4days.  And i could chose , never expire or 1day or 7days expire.
Once again, this is an internal accounting feature of Electrum only, and is completely irrelevant to the issue at hand. It does not matter at all if the address "expires". You will receive your bitcoin once the service sends them, regardless of whether your address has expired or not.

Think of it like adding some notes to a contact on your phone. It helps you keep track of some information (in this case, how soon you wanted the payment), but it makes no difference whatsoever to the other party calling you. The other party does not even know it exists.

When you open Electrum, you should see a green circle at the bottom right. This means it is connected and fulled synced with the network. If you see this green circle, then your wallet is fully up to date and if you don't see any coins it means they haven't been sent.

I don't plan to request another withdrawal until I receive this first one..but when I do can I just take the same address..even though 3days expires? I know what you have said that addresses don't really expire.
Correct. You can use the same address again, even if Electrum says it has expired.

Hello there,

There is no update, no magic money appears in my wallet.

Thank you once again for your replies and explaining, yes my wallet has the green circle so all good to go.

So, this is..day..4 i guess, since i put the request through. As you know, i queried this 'try bitcoin much faster' method the casino tells me. And then says 5days.

I emailed them again, always quick to reply, i sense english not their first langague and certaintly automated with many replies.

SO - going by your thoughts , what i have read on here...all this waiting around malarky. I asked them, again, polietly, whats the hold up!

Their reply, below,

"..A payment provider is a gateway for transactions between online services and customers. Usually, transactions do not take much time, but it may take if the payment processor requires additional confirmation of the transaction. We apologize if the delay causes inconvenience, but we appreciate your patience.   "

SO...what do i say to that, 'ok thanks for the info'...or shall i question further?   The 'processor required additional confirmation ' ....intresting ( sounding similar to when i got my mastercard rejections albeit within hours not days ).

Sensing ahead hear and expecting the ol' familar ala Mastercard tech.difficulties scenerio.  IF 'the payment provider? required more confirmation'...IS there anything they need from me? I am well aware, this is all guff, delay technique etc etc...BUT...to call their bluff so to speak...IF monies never received ( and heck i could be proved wrong here! )  due to 'confirmation of the transaction'.  Is there anything i can 'prove' . I only have the Electon wallet..thats it, setup in minutes...no proof or ID. etc   Just again curious...whilst I wait.

All very annoying, fustrating but determined to see it through.

It is not your responsibility to prove anything to them. Instead, they should provide proof to you that they sent the payment. You can check the status of the transaction and view all relevant details, such as the amount, sender and recipient addresses, and transaction fees, by looking up the transaction ID. This will allow you to confirm whether the transaction has been successfully processed or not. But you can't do that if you don't have a transaction ID.

By the way, it's Electrum wallet, not Electon. Sometimes correct terminology is very important to avoid confusion.

Your post is quite ambiguous. Are you going to withdraw cryptocurrency from the casino website? Is the total important? Do you intend to withdraw your Bitcoin? Because of certain recent problems, blockchain is not entirely safe. If your prize is in Bitcoin, create a non-custodial wallet, like Electrum, to receive it. From Electrum, you may transmit it anyplace. You must use a peer-to-peer exchange if you wish to withdraw your Bitcoin. Later, you can exchange your Bitcoin for local money using Binance (Fiat). Please respond to these questions in order to receive an appropriate response from this source. And don't worry, you can discover a solution by reading the posts here. When working with significant sums of money, you should buy

Regarding the mention of peer-to-peer exchange, this usually refers to a type of financial transaction that occurs directly between two parties, without the need for a financial institution or other centralized platforms. For example, you could simply transfer the money directly from your wallet to your friend's wallet.

When you receive coins from the casino in your wallet, you have the option of choosing how you want to exchange BTC for fiat currency. You can use centralized or decentralized exchanges, or you can opt for a peer-to-peer (P2P). You can even sell on a forum if you prefer. In this case, it would be a good idea to use a reputable escrow service to ensure a secure transaction.

..well..im going to keep hounding this forum so long as the casino refuses me!!!!!  we all lose!!! i hope you are enjoying the saga to claim a few hundred euros of bitcoin!!!

So, still nothing in wallet.

I emailed them, again, speedy replies. I asked to supply me with the transaction ID.

They didnt.

Their responce below,

"...We see that your withdrawal request was marked as "completed" on 03.01.2023, transfer to your Bitcoin wallet may take up to 10 business days. Bitcoin transactions are fast, however, it depends on how loaded is the system at the moment. I kindly ask you not to worry, your request was reviewed successfully, all that is left is to wait for the transaction to be processed..."

Now - previously, they mentioned can take up to 5days.   I have gone back to them mentioning this...like peeing in the wind of course...and asking again for transaction ID.

THOUGHTS WELCOME -  I'm aware from your previous comments, this is all ..not normal etc......BUT.....the ' loaded up system'....any 'truth' to that?

Ok..save you the reply.  No.

------ i am wondering whether i now put through the final request for monies...using the SAME address ( yes, it expires in 2days, but youve all assurred me this isnt a problem ).. What do you think?  THEY SAY, 'dont worry..processed..'...shall i put through other request....or wait for first monies to come through???

They have just come back to me, below -
"..Unfortunately, we don't provide transaction ID for BTC withdrawals."

Kindly asking me to 'wait'.

Thoughts again welcome?

I pushed and prodded, so annoying about waiting longer..

any truth in this then;

"..The 10 days is the maximum timescale for BTC withdrawals, usually they proceed faster, within 5 days..."

and again it is not possible to give you a transaction id.

The good news is, i will not bug this thread any longer...i will wait till money magically appears..or perhaps in 10days time an update...im sure you are on the edge of your seats!!

But in the meantime, i will check , to see if i get any kind replies, I would love to know if..what they are saying bares any truth...possible...a case of just wait and see.

Thanks once again for your replies and time. If you have any other thoughts / how to proceed / or a question to ask them let me know ...but clearly out of ideas...nothing i can do.

I do see this as a form of theft, they accept monies but do not dish out, but they are from what i gather, unlicenced like a lot of these casinos are so ...an odd complaint here/there - isnt going to do much I guess.

Moral is -chose your casino wisely..better still..stick to gambling with bitcoin ..i guess..looks like i will never know how it all works as right now..i do not have any!!

I seem to be replying to my own messages!!!

However, i do have a question.

Although i am still waiting for my withdrawal, as, on the casino site, it has been processed for days, so in theory allows me to withdraw again an amount.  I used the same address as previous ( as you all have said its fine to do even though will expire )...BUT...it did not accept it. So, so i need to re-generate the seed? If you recall, the issue with Wasbi wallet was that wouldnt accept it, but benefit of Electrum wallet was the address it generated did allow it to go through.

Now, i know i have loads of addresses I can use ( green / Type receiving ), the first one being the one im waiting on because i labeled it, 'casino'.

Can i just pick the ( copy address ) next one down..i think i have 10 or 15 'green' ones.

Simple as that.  Have to say, i did try it, bc1 etc...and still didnt let me 'withdraw'..i dont think its the 'shady casino' in this case..i just think the first Electrum address i generated allowed me to put it in...addresses look the same, bc1....

I must be missing a step...maybe i have to generate another 'seed'?

( im learning here, sorry for the emails, did say wouldnt email again for a while..but just annoying me, waiting around, thought i would push things along try withdraw 2nd amount )
