I think the problem isn't only about chanting the name of Messi. If it is the only problem, I believe Ronaldo won't feel angry. As far as I know, Ronaldo is a friendly player. AFC champion is a bit different with Saudi Pro League. Although Al Hilal performed well in AFC so far, I am not sure if they have he biggest chance to win it. I think Al Ittihad shouldn't be easy to defeat in this competition.

Initially I thought this would be a competition between Ronaldo and Benzema but looking at what has happened up to now even Benzema cannot meet the criteria as one of the dangerous strikers in the Saudi league. The nickname moved to Mitrovic who is much more consistent and reliable, he can even match what Ronaldo has done this season.
