He is a machine. I don't know anyone who can perform like this despite his age. He continues to be at the top of the scoring list with 23 goals in the Saudi Arabian league. Moreover, he makes this statistic just before he turns 40. A great football player and a great person. It's like he was born for football. I hope it leaves us great memories at Euro 2024 in the summer.
At his age, Rooney can not play and Wayne even retired his player career many years ago. Cristiano is still able to play and can score many goals and being a most  goal productive player in 2023 year is at his age, 39 years old is very impressive achievement from Cristiano Ronaldo individually.

He is no longer fast and good like three or four years ago but at his age, still playing and scoring goals, a lot, like him, is amazing and it's very hard to find another player who can do the same.

At his national team, he has a team mate Pepe who is playing at his 41 years old and together they will join Euro 2024 if none of them will get an injury and miss the tournament. If Pepe can play for Portugal at his 41 years old, next two years, in World Cup 2026, Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to play in that tournament, his sixth World Cup tournament.
I do think that he managed to score this many goals because he is playing in a league that is barely out of their amateur status, it's a terrible league with many terrible defenders and goalkeepers as well. However, that doesn't mean that what he is achieving is not hard, he is doing something incredible. Just even the idea that he can still play at age 40 is amazing. Dude could continue to play for a few more seasons by the looks of it, depending on injury situation of course.

I think as long as he keeps doing this, then he will be fine and I do not think that he will do that badly. I believe that he is a vital part of the team but the team needs a lot better defense, their defense and goalkeeper change is a must this summer.

If Cristiano Ronaldo simply is able to score many goals in 2023 year because he is playing in a league with many amateur players, we can see the same for Mane, Benzema and these players would have scored many more goals than what they actually scored so far since their transfers to Saudi Professional League.

I don't try to say Benzema or Mane's performances are bad or worse in comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo's performances but I would like to use these examples to prove that Cristiano is actually good and he tries a lot to achieve those goals. If he is not too good, didn't try, he would have scored less goals than what he has gotten so far.

There is contribution of penalties to total goals he scored for Al Nassr and it is one of privileges he received from the club and head coach.

Ronaldo doesn't have the speed he had 3 or 4 years ago, but his technical capacity and football knowledge are still the same. Even if his speed and performance decline, his technical skills will never disappear.
True, and he will continue his career in professional football as a coach. The only problem is that when you are an active football player, you must have good stamina. It's amazing to see Ronaldo can still compete with young talented players. It proves that he is able to sustain himself.
It gives him additional value to him. That's the awesome thing from ronaldo unlike other players which were getting fat but he can keep his body to be always ideal to play football.

Before his unfortunate injury he was a wing forward. After the injury he turned into a striker. Now, by playing as a target striker, he can have the luxury of spending less effort. In this way, I think he can play football for a few more years with his technical capacity and football knowledge.
Ronaldo may be retiring after finishing his contract with Al Nassr, but he hopes Nassr will add a few years more to it. We can still see him performing in the Saudi pro league till the end of his contract with Nassr.
I'm sure Naldo has no plan to play in another club after he finishes his contract in al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo can plays well as left winger or central forward position and he was play with that position since playing with European teams such as become Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus player.
I disagree with your opinion about Cristiano Ronaldo loss his touched about speed, still on the top level performance and looking with his physical most perfect although over 38 years old.
But he can't more contribution by him self for helping Al Nassr win the domestic league tittle exactly for this season, seems over with him for winning trophy after eliminating from AFC Champion League and looks difficult possibility for winning SPL trophy. Just his achieved become Saudi Pro League top scorer in this season and he was two season failed to give domestic league trophy for his club.

Saudi Pro League plans to stop spending this summer (after spending $876 mil in summer 2023 and $25 mil in winter/Jan 2004). The average attendance of 8,321 so far this year, has come down about 10% from the prior season. Since the investments haven't paid off with the live viewership, they might cut losses and let it be. With Saudi earning themselves the World Cup, which might have been their goal in the first place. They might not be that keen on investing anymore.
This is a good decision considering that the Saudi Pro League has invested heavily in players from European leagues. Now it is time for them to focus on developing their league and not just think about recruiting players because if the Saudi League continues to do this, it could affect their financial stability in the league, when This Saudi League already has several star players and that is enough to make the Saudi League popular among world football, as long as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Karim Benzema are at the club then the Saudi League is still a club that is in demand by their fans in football. They too must take into account their total detrimental so that they can be repaired immediately this season if they continue to improve the league.

It's quite sad to see the number of spectators decreasing throughout this year, even though I thought the number of spectators would increase because the Saudi League is becoming more and more famous, but it turns out that this is even more detrimental. Yes, it would be better for the Saudi League to stop player transfers for this season, at least to repair a number of losses that have been made they invest. It's true that investment doesn't always go smoothly and there are always ups and downs, but with the league's hard work, it's possible that one day it will pay off with a good start when the Saudi League is nominated for the world cup.

He is no longer fast and good like three or four years ago but at his age, still playing and scoring goals, a lot, like him, is amazing and it's very hard to find another player who can do the same.

Ronaldo doesn't have the speed he had 3 or 4 years ago, but his technical capacity and football knowledge are still the same. Even if his speed and performance decline, his technical skills will never disappear.

Before his unfortunate injury he was a wing forward. After the injury he turned into a striker. Now, by playing as a target striker, he can have the luxury of spending less effort. In this way, I think he can play football for a few more years with his technical capacity and football knowledge.
Ronaldo is indeed different from other football players. The reason is that until now Ronaldo still looks very fit and energetic even though he is almost 40 years old. Because if  look at other soccer players. When reach 40s, things change drastically for these football players. For example, when they enter their 40s, some soccer players become fat, their ability to play soccer decreases somewhat, and many soccer players retire at the age of 38-40 years. So seeing Ronaldo can still play well at almost 40 years of age, in my opinion this is a very extraordinary achievement. Plus, at his current age, Ronaldo's body is still very ideal. In fact, his body shape looks almost the same as when he was 25-30 years old (especially in terms of muscle and fat).

Apart from that, what I see is that Ronaldo's current performance can be said to be still very good. Yes, even though Ronaldo's speed is currently decreasing. However, Ronaldo still has many good skills, such as his passing which is still very accurate, his kicks which are still hard and accurate, and his dribbling skills which are still quite good. So for now the reduced speed is not an obstacle for Ronaldo to continue playing football well. And it's true, friend, currently Ronaldo is indeed suitable as a striker. This is because Ronaldo has a tall body, excellent ability to score goals and  can save more energy.

With Saudi earning themselves the World Cup, which might have been their goal in the first place. They might not be that keen on investing anymore.
That good because at the moment they have it all, various great players are in the Saudi Pro League and of course if they decide to increase spending this summer then they will experience financial problems in the future.
Even though the actual income can also be said to be large amount, it is feared that spending too much money could have bad impact, decision like this is indeed the right one and can at least give break to all team so they can really manage their finances well.
Moreover, just look at how much money has been spent on various star players from Europe, which of course is an expense every season, even though they are competition filled with billionaire investors, most of whom are Saudis themselves.

My thinking is different, maybe massive investment will actually occur after the World Cup is finished because the Saudi Pro League will pursue what can make them make large amounts of money.

`
Well this could be the end of Saudi Pro League hype because not many European players want to move to there and Saudi Arabia have stated to not spend more money anymore. Instead of focusing about football, one of luxury brands in there make a collaboration with Messi.

Maybe we will hear more popular players that will make a collaboration with Saudi Arabia, probably next in Basketball? Cheesy

Now he is almost past his 39 years with even he is super human he had impact on his body with injuries are also surely going to have negative impact as well so with all things which are happening around him most chances we will have him not good as we have few years back even speed and ball control all are going to have not like which he has done 5 years back just because of this Al Nassr was best deal for him to end his career.
His contract with Al Nassr is for the 7 years with as player until 2025, but he can increase this because he had eyes to play for the Portugal into world cup which is going to hold in 2026 with maybe he extends his playing contract as well, so things are not clear but most chances we will have Ronaldo on ground for next few years.

Football is on different phase. Every single player have their promising moment in football and the specified ones that portrayed the facts that they're absolutely out of good shape. Perhaps Cristiano Ronaldo remained the big name that comprehend football and his style is awesome. Ronaldo is no longer active as before because he's aged and we know how everyone can't cheat nature. We missed him in the European football because the available players failed to do incredibly up to the match of Messi and Ronaldo. Since both of the greatest GOATs left Europe football, it has not been the same.

Ronaldo is of course a lot older, but the main reason that he may not be as passionate anymore is that he played the biggest games in football for Real Madrid, Juventus Turin and Manchester United and now he is somewhere in Saudi Arabia. I doubt that a player of his level and with a marvelous career can still find the motivation to play his absolute best. I think everyone would be the same. He played the one and only classicos on a regular basis and now the best game he gets to play is maybe against Al-Hilal. Can't really blame him as he took the check and does his job, nothing more and nothing less than that.
Ronaldo is an inspiration to the younger generation in football on how a footballer can maintain his physical and stamina to remain consistent until old age. He continues to give his best for the team he plays for and continues to score goals, this is proven by the goals he scored with Al Nasrr, and the final goal in the victory against Al Ahli via a penalty proves that he is truly a great player. Even though this season they are in second place in the Pro League, this is not necessarily Ronaldo's fault because Al Hilal this season has appeared very impressive because they played without losing.

However, I still remember that a few weeks ago there were several fans who blamed Ronaldo after being eliminated from LCA, there were several Al Nassar fans who gave negative responses to Ronaldo. In their statement, they said that Ronaldo wasted many opportunities to score goals. But this is football, there are wins and losses, you must continue to provide support and encouragement so that Al Nassar can bounce back in the next match! Don't just blame Ronaldo because you have to know that football is the result of the work of a team, not just one person, even though Ronaldo is the Goat. What if Ronaldo leaves then the league will experience a decrease in broadcast broadcasts, so continue to provide support to Ronaldo and Al Nassr.

`
Well this could be the end of Saudi Pro League hype because not many European players want to move to there and Saudi Arabia have stated to not spend more money anymore. Instead of focusing about football, one of luxury brands in there make a collaboration with Messi.

Quote
The SPL’s domestic broadcast rights are held by state-owned Saudi Sports Company which is paying c.£63m2 per season through to the end of the 2024/25 season. International rights deals are currently reported to be generating less than £10m3 per season. Broadcast contributes around two-thirds of the SPL’s £94m4 total revenue, with the remainder coming from the league’s title sponsorship deal with real-estate developer Roshn, reported to be worth around £20m4 annually.

Annual broadcast revenues of £73m are comparable to Netherlands’ Eredivisie (£69m, domestic only) and Belgium’s Pro League (£89m, domestic only). The SPL is currently the second-highest revenue-generating league in Asia, behind Japan’s J-League (£103m, domestic only). The league’s stated ambition is to generate total revenues of £378m per season. Assuming 10% of this total comes from other revenue sources, £340m in annual broadcast revenues would put the SPL ahead of the MLS and behind Ligue 1 league today.

The decision to stop spending more money on European players is totally the right decision. Look at the chart and how the Saudi Pro League has very small annual revenue. It will be so dumb if the Saudi Pro League tries to spend more money in the summer transfer season.
The result is very far from what has already been planned by the Saudi pro league. Less than 80m annual revenues for SPL. what can we expect from this? Literally nothng

Maybe we will hear more popular players that will make a collaboration with Saudi Arabia, probably next in Basketball? Cheesy
That will never happen, saudi may be learning a lot from this. The decision to massively recruit european talents have been disrupting saudi's finacial

This problem is still a pros and cons like turning the direction when the Saudi pro league must stop spending a lot of money but has already spent a lot of money to get European players but what Saudi pro wants can not be obtained like higher popularity and get an offer to enter to the Champions League competition.
If it is the best to stop spending a lot of money, I'm not sure whether Saudi Pro Liga will only promote the league with a smaller budget.
But actually the arrival of Ronaldo and Benzema is enough to raise the Saudi pro League but the ambitions of Saudi Arabia still seem to want to continue to bring in quality players from Europe but have to spend more money.

If it is the Saudi Pro League's decision to stop looking for European players with large salaries, I'm sure it will be very difficult or likely to find European players who are old and almost retired.
Indeed, to develop a league so that it becomes big you have to have a lot of capital, but the first mistake that the Saudi pro league makes is that it always offers high prices, whereas the European players are already used to these big offers and if it later reduces the bid amount, there will definitely be a lot of European players who will don't want to be in saudi pro league because european players go to this league only for money.

Well, sometimes things don't hit the mark and it's clear how the Saudi league must suffer quite a loss because it doesn't live up to previously predicted expectations. Now the Saudi league will certainly be ready to slowly lose its existing profits and this is all because of the lack of vigilance that they have already bet on. At first I thought everything would be fine but sometimes spending that much money on European players feels unreasonable and it's only a matter of time before everything breaks down.

It seems that the Saudi league is also no longer able to manage its existing finances and it is possible that if they give up on the situation they have already created then this league will again be devoid of its many star players. I honestly don't want that to happen and I hope there is another way they can find to deal with this.

People from all over the world watch the Saudi League games while they didn't watch these games before and that's because of some players like Rakitic and other superstar players in this league. In fact, Rakitic is a famous and well-known player who even had perfect performances when he started playing for Rakitic. In the first game, Rakitic had for Al Shabab if I'm not mistaken he scored a goal by the first shot he had in this team.
But I don't think even if Rakitic or the other players can make Al Hilal stop because even in Nassr they players like Ronaldo couldn't do anything against Al Hilal and they lost the game.
That's why I don't think if Al Shabab can cause any problems for Al Hilal in this match.

In fact, I'm only interested in the Saudi League because several celebrities like Ronaldo, Benzema have moved there, and I mostly just follow the news regarding these players. Sometimes I can watch a selection of goals that Ronaldo scores, but to be honest, I have never watched an entire match involving Saudi League teams.

Despite the fact that several star players play there, this championship does not make this championship so interesting that I follow the teams, and their positions in the standings. Benzema, by the way, announced that he would like to return to the French national team, apparently he really misses Europe, and this can be seen from his behavior.

The same goes for us, especially those of us outside Saudi Arabia. so, the Saudi Pro League is currently getting more attention because of the big name players who have played in the European League. Moreover, this competition brings in several big star players. yeah, we all know that after Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, several other top European players also came to accept offers to play in this competition, especially star players aged 30+. the competition became busy and quite in the spotlight with its controversy regarding high salary payments, which ultimately resulted in many communities following the development of the Saudi Pro League. even though most of the time it is only the elite teams that are always a concern, it is not uncommon for many communities to bet on the teams that compete, even if they are mediocre teams.

Referring to the second point you said, it is only natural that the League management has just started to make this competition better known throughout the world. I don't know for sure, especially regarding Saudi projects related to the development of football. what is certain is that they have plans, visions and missions, whether it's business, etc. through football. as for Berzema, I didn't follow his progress for some time after he wanted to leave Al Ittihad. but what is certain is that this competition has 10 matches remaining, while Al Hilal is one of the teams that is almost close to winning the Saudi Pro League trophy by 12 points ahead of the team below it, namely Al Nassr.

The factor of famous star players is very influential in an ongoing league competition, indeed in the Saudi Arabian league this season there are a lot of players from Europe and are already familiar among world football fans who want to join clubs in Saudi Arabia this season. , for example Cristiano Ronaldo. , Neymar, Banzema These three players are clearly familiar with the supporting and defending clubs in Saudi Arabia so they can advance and even win. However, this also has an important influence on the league in Saudi Arabia, namely so that this event can be known and paid attention to by football fans and in particular will increase profits in that country.

If Banzema wants to return to his club in France, I don't know if this is true or false news, but what is clear in my opinion is that Banzema no longer feels at home in Saudi Arabia and wants to return to France. , maybe this will affect the existence of the Saudi League in the world because there will be fewer and fewer famous players.

Yeah it is a fact that this League is attracting more and more attention all over the world including in my country, at least we often see someone wearing an Al-Nassr jersey even though we have never seen this jersey before and we have to admit that what happened in the Saudi Pro League this season was successful, so will there be another surprise next season by bringing in super star players? this will be a question for all of us while we wait.

If linked to the Saudi vision and mission, this trend should continue until 2030 and they have prepared unlimited funds to support the vision and mission, imagine if Mo Salah really came as a new competitor then we will see tight competition on the top score board. Lately I've been missing news related to the Saudi Pro League since we can predict which team will win the title I mean there is no competition anymore because Al-Hilal still dominates the standings but if the difference in points is only 2-3 then it will be interesting to wait.

It is a factor, I agree, but what is the sustained effect? In the beginning everybody was thrilled to see players like Neymar and Ronaldo play against each other when Al-Nassr is up against Al-Hilal. But I am convinced that this effect has been significantly declining over time. It's like the first excitement when nobody knows what to expect in the mid term and whether the Saudi clubs can sign more players of a younger age or whether they can only sign players who are about to call it a day and take a last pay check. That's what was the result of their transfer policy. No young players could be convinced to go there. There was one moment where I think the football world held its breath and that was when Mbappe received this insane offer of I think $700 million or so. But he declined. Ronaldo was a nice try, but he couldn't really push the league that much. It was an effect that can't be denied, but he didn't change the world of football and shift the focus from Europe to Saudi Arabia. The interest in the SPL is declining again.

`
Well this could be the end of Saudi Pro League hype because not many European players want to move to there and Saudi Arabia have stated to not spend more money anymore. Instead of focusing about football, one of luxury brands in there make a collaboration with Messi.

https://www.arabnews.com/node/2477196/lifestyle

Maybe we will hear more popular players that will make a collaboration with Saudi Arabia, probably next in Basketball? Cheesy

I don't think if anything can make the Saudis stop spending money to hire expensive players for their teams. Unlike the European teams, Saudis are not limited to the fair play financial systems and that's why they can spend any amount of money they want easily without any problem for their team. The are even planing to hire some players like Messi and other superstar players like Salah for the next season.
During this season Al Hilal had a good performance and other teams after investing too much money couldn't get good resuolts and maybe this can make them try hader and hier more and better players inthe next summer.

Ronaldo is a superhuman who can play even when he is much older than other players while he can have better performance than most of the players, Ronaldo is even more experienced now but he will run faster with his age than many players which can even make Al Nassr think about extending his contract for a longer time to use his experience while he gets older. I think Al Nassr even couldn't get into the top side of the Saudi League and they should thank Ronaldo for it because in this team, Ronaldo is the top scorer and he is the player who usually teaches the other players how to play.

Even mostly were feeling they are doing this all for the vision and surely going to have good results but suddenly after just one season things are going completely on wrong side and now having decision like this is surely big setback for the Saudi League and also future of this league which was looking promising but now having huge loses which are not acceptable for them mean now we will have changed in strategy with they already have the hosting rights of the 2034 soccer world cup, but now they are going to have big changes into their vision for this league which is important.

Hopefully organizers will become back with some solid and better idea but still we have to understand all ground realities as well this region is never been ideal for the things for quick results as here conditions and culture are completely different, and now they are bringing changes which will take good time for having impact, and they also need to revise their decision about huge spendings which are now not coming again in near future with their first phase is completely down and need to be rethought.
