Well, winning the world cup is a different conversation all together, the Portuguese national team has been impressive so far, yes but it's takes alot more to win the world cup. Yes Al Nassr lost the league twice with Ronaldo on the team but we all know how badly they have been and it has been a while they won the league title. They last won the league since 2019 so why do you all think one man's presence will change everything instantly. Ronaldo's presence have really helped them become more competitive even though they lost the league twice, they were just lacking in some areas which they have now added good players to fill the void.

Since joining them Ronaldo have played his role perfectly winning the leagues top scorer twice consecutively but other players were not reliable enough so they couldn't compete as they should but now that they are better we have seen how good they can be, with this current performance I expect to win the title this season. Portugal has qualified for the world cup, but I would say that their performance during the UEFA first round qualifiers was not up to the mark. Republic of Ireland managed to defeat them, and the other two teams in the group were very weak. They played their last group match on 16th November, just three days after their humiliating defeat to Ireland. They won by a massive margin of 9-1 against Armenia (and that too without Ronaldo who got the red card in the previous match). But then, winning against Armenia is one thing, and playing against teams like France and Argentina is other.
