Could this be the season Cristiano Ronaldo will finally win the league? I just hope it'll be.

Honestly, I think it will be very difficult for Ronaldo to win the Saudi league because it seems to me that Al Nassr, with the high salary they spend on him, doesn't have much room to sign other great players, and that's the same thing that was happening with Al Hilal during Neymar's time.

Al Hilal's next 3 games:

Al Okhdood Club - Al Hilal (Al Okhdood Club = 19 games; only 2 wins)

Al Hilal - Al-Ettifaq (Al-Ettifaq = only 1 loss in the last 5 games)

Al Hilal - Al-Ittihad (Al-Ittihad = only 2 losses in the last 5 games)

Al-Nassr's next 3 games:

Al-Nassr - Al-Ittihad (Al-Ittihad = only 2 losses in the last 5 games)

Al-Fateh - Al-Nassr (Al-Fateh = no wins in the last 5 games)

Al-Nassr - Al-Hazm (Al-Hazm = only 1 win in the last 5 games)

See, if Al-Nassr manages to win their next 3 games, then they would have a chance to become champions. Al Hilal could drop points in their next 3 games. These are easy games that Al Nassr will have, but even so, I wouldn't be surprised if in the next 3 games they drop points in two games and Al Hilal gains points in the next 3 games.

Al Nassr in two days will play against Al Ittihad, one of the strongest teams within the Saudi Professional League. On the other hand, Al Hilal will be playing against one of the weakest teams (Al Akhdood). In case Al Nassr wins their match, and Al Hilal draws theirs (they have already drawn their last three matches), then the former will replace the latter at the top of the table. At the moment, only one point separates these two teams, and as far as number of wins are concerned, Al Nassr is actually ahead of Al Hilal (15 vs 14). BTW, Stake has Al Nassr as favorites in their match @ 1.62.

Al Ittihad is a strong competitor for Al Nassr. In their last head-to-head meeting Al Ittihad defeated Al Nassr in the King Cup phase. This proves that Al Nassr cannot underestimate Al Ittihad. Al Nassr must be fully focused and even work very hard to deliver a good performance in the upcoming match so they can win and earn points. Al Nassr is currently ranked second in the standings below Al Hilal. Al Nassr's performance in the last five matches also shows that they are very serious about giving their all to top the table. I personally believe that Al Nassr will not let their team lose points in the upcoming match against Al Ittihad. And I'm confident that they will dominate as the home team and even win this match to bring them closer to the championship.

Ronaldo needs to comeback. This week was lucky because they did managed to get a win while Al Hilal lost points and that is good but they can't keep doing this every week. Which is why I would expect Ronaldo to come back eventually, he can't just stay out. Plus, the entire reason why he will keep on playing until next year is to reach that 1000 goals, and for that reason it would be stupid to miss more games.

I agree with this, people mentioned why he should come back too. Ronaldo is being a little cry baby once more, he is always like that, he has always been calling everything unfair whenever he does badly. He saw Al Hilal leading the league and realized they will lose, so he is making a scene to create an excuse.

Al Nassr and Al Ittihad have played two games this season, one in the King's Cup and the other one in the Saudi Professional League, and Al Nassr won both matches. I knew Al Ittihad is a strong competitor for Al Nassr but this season their performance has been too poor, that's why they're still ranked sixth in the standings with 34 points. You can see they've already lost the chance of winning the Saudi Professional League title this season, and last season they were the defending champions but currently they're not strong enough to compete even for a top-four spot.

Al Nassr is ranked in second position with 46 points, which I believe there's a possibility for them to get to the top spot because they have a solid team this season and with their performance, in my opinion, they are the favourites to win this game. But Al Nassr must play to their best because Al Ittihad is going to be a tough opponent for them because they'll also do everything not to lose to them again.

I am sure C Ronaldo will return. Since he only missed one game, I don't think it's a problem. and most importantly, Al-nassr must win their next game against Al-Ittihad, which will be very difficult. and I think Cristiano Ronaldo will only damage his image if he doesn't play against Al-Ittihad. Because everyone will expect him to play there. and if he doesn't return, speculation about him will heat up even more. So I hope that whether he wins or not at Al-Nassr, he must at least achieve his personal goal of scoring 1,000 goals, which could be a record-breaking achievement that other players may find difficult to match in the end.

Being a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, I don't agree with his recent actions. He is under a $280 million per year contract, and despite that he refused to play in Al Nassr's last match. Apparently he is on strike and the Al Nassr coach had to drop him for disciplinary reasons. From what I have heard, his primary complaint is against the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF). As per Ronaldo, the PIF is behaving in a biased manner and favoring Al Hilal. Ronaldo claims that Al Nassr wasn't allowed to reinforce their squad during the January transfer window by the PIF. That may or may not be true. But what he will achieve by going on a strike against Al Nassr?

Yes, Ronaldo's actions are actually beyond the pale. After all,, he is an Al Nasr player and he must be held accountable for it. So,, don't stop playing like this, because it will clearly make it difficult for him to win trophies this season. But fortunately, Al Nasr was able to win the final match and secure three points. Because if he lost, I think it would clearly tarnish Ronaldo's reputation in the eyes of Al Nasr fans.

Furthermore, regarding the unfairness of the funds we're discussing, I personally don't know for sure, but if Al Nasr is truly not allowed to recruit players in this winter transfer window, I think that's indeed unfair. So this also clearly needs to be held accountable, but Ronaldo's actions are clearly inappropriate. Because by going on strike, it clearly won't change any decisions. So right now I think it would be better for Ronaldo to make the current players at Al Nasr great, because I believe that with the current Al Nasr squad they can become champions in the Saudi Arabian league.

Sounds like you have understood the nature of the player, Ronaldo. Almost every star is like this because they find a reason or the other to stay relevant and out of blames of lack of performance. This is the kind of fear most star players face especially if you don’t want to be a part of a losing streak or a season which seems to be a failure. But one thing I also want them to understand is, it is not always rosy out there, we are always going to be faced with challenges and at this apex stage of his career, I don’t see Ronaldo losing any thing even if he club loses 100 times. He still have his personal achievements which will continue to outlive him. The club is a composition of players from which Ronaldo belongs, you cannot do much about this as a player and therefore you just need to be optimistic at all times.

Al Nasrr will face a tough opponent Al Ittihad, the strongest team in the Saudi Professional League which is not easy to beat even though the odds are 1.62. Al Nasrr will try to shift Al Hilal from the top of the standings with a narrow point difference in this important match, both need a win from the match list, the estimated score is Al Hilal vs Al Akhdood with a score of 2: 1 and Al Nasrr vs Al Ittihad 1: 0, this prediction is just a shadow of the team's performance last feed, what do you think friends.
Al Ittihad won Saudi Professional League last season by beating Al Hilal and Al Nassr but their performances in this season are not too good. They are even not in top four of Saudi Professional League now, so it's quite wrong to say they are the strongest team in the league now. About top four of Saudi Professional League, from a first to a fourth position, there are only 4 point differences among 4 top clubs.

With these small differences, Al Nassr will need to win this match not only to secure their chance of competing for Saudi Professional League against Al Hilal (currently 1 point more than Al Nassr) but also to defend their second position in the league.
I had to check into the Saudi Pro league table on reading what @kbhutto wrote about  Al Ittihad been the strongest team in the league this season. Correctly they are in 6th position with Al-Ahli, Al Qadsiah, and Al-Taawoun up ahead of them on the table before Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal who are in second and first position with a one point gap between the two clubs.

Against  Al Ittihad we will be watching an Al Nassr team that wants to claim the top spot which makes it rather difficult for Al Ittihad with any good chance of having a draw regardless how the two teams really needs all points to climb up. Is a strong match but with Al Nassr tip for the victory.

Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Alitihad and Al Ahll are all funded by the PIF,  and it logically causing a sentiment when they have to spend more money for one or two of the clubs in signing quality players and did spend lesser to the others making them to not have the money to buy the players they have projected on signing.
With generous fundings from PIF, these clubs are richest ones in Saudi Professional League and have abundannt budgets for buying star players and paying them very lucrative salary. It is meaningful in finance for these clubs to easily build up their stronger squads than many other clubs in the league. Only Al Ittihad have big issues in this season with their under performances which are worse than any predictions before this season beginning.
If the PIF is still in the business of sponsoring the four teams let it be done equally in the funding. How the team performs in the season will not be given as their fault  when any performs poorly since equal funding were given.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a very good and very experienced player. We always need to remember one thing, football is not played by one person. To win football, the other 10 players have to play well and perform at the same time. Cristiano Ronaldo is a good player, but if his teammates are not able to play in the same way with Cristiano Ronaldo, then Cristiano Ronaldo will never be able to perform well. Every player in the team has to perform well, meaning every player has to play in the same way. When everyone plays in the same way, even if the match is not won, it will be very difficult for the opponent to win.

Because everyone will expect him to play there. and if he doesn't return, speculation about him will heat up even more. That may or may not be true. But what he will achieve by going on a strike against Al Nassr?

I 100 percent agree with Ronaldo action, he did not come to the league to be watching another team to win a trophy or come to make Saudi Pro League a better league, he is here to win a trophies, we all know the kind of player Ronaldo is, he love winning trophies, not only Ronaldo, every player wants to win a trophy in every team he playing for, Al Nassr is the only club that is not making good signing, Al Etihad, Al Hilal and Al Ahli are spending more than Al Nassr.

According to many sources, they said Al Nassr, Al Etihad, Al Hilal and Al Ahli is own by the same group of people and they spend in other club than Al Nassr which is not a good thing, Ronaldo is old, he need star players who can help him, he can not win a trophy alone because he is not the Ronaldo we all know when he said he will win a match he will surely win it, I will not be surprise if Ronaldo leaves the club and return to Europe to finish the goals he wanted to score.

Exactly, football playing as the team not one players and Cristiano Ronaldo know it how to ask manager for signing several top players exactly for this season, Cristiano Ronaldo have good record in his career by winning all domestic league trophies when playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid and last Europe teams playing for Juventus.
Now he got difficult position after several years playing for Al Nassr still not winning the domestic league trophy yet but in this season his team has better performance, now remaining 1 points with Al Hilal but currently Cristiano Ronaldo loss the top scorer position after Ivan Toney scoring 18 goals for Al Ahly and Ronaldo scored 17 goals so far.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not an average or random player in football he is the player who has all the goodies a one can have being the good player of football. And I think it is really very disturbing that a team which is having a world class player is not able to get any title or win. And this is also true that Al-Nassr is investing a huge portion of their budget in paying Cristiano Ronaldo. So, the expectations are also settled on that level. And Al -Nassr reaches very near to the point where they can get a prominent success. Al-Nassr needs to show some of their abilities that they are able to have the best and I think now they have a chance and they should definitely avail it in their favour. And Ronaldo is also in the struggle to achieve his target of scoring 1000 goals and it will be good if he will be successful to do something great in the favour of the team.

He certainly doesn't make decisions lightly. and there must be a clear reason behind his actions. it could just be a rumor or it could be true. Well, we don't know the truth. However, his decision to stop playing is definitely not good even though he must have a clear reason for it. He is also aware that he is considered very valuable in the Saudi Pro league, so perhaps by acting this way, he hopes for positive changes there. Honestly, I think Al-Nassr’s sudden decline is already strange. but I won’t think about it further. What’s certain is that I hope Cristiano Ronaldo can at least stay with the club and encourage all his teammates not to give up until the end.

I'm not sure I understand the complexity of the issue, but I'm surprised the Saudis can't adhere to their own rules and avoid quarrelling with Ronaldo, who is the face of the league and could cause a major reputational blow. It seems unnecessary, as Al Hilal still retains a strong chance of winning the title. This scandal just came out of nowhere. Now the likelihood that Ronaldo will leave Al Nasr (and the SPL) in the summer is very high, but few people are worried about this prospect, since there will be another important event in the summer.

Hope you are watching the Al Okhdood Vs Al Hilal right now because the one who you said cannot make a change at Al Hilal has scored a hat-trick already if at all he won't make it four goals before the match ends. Don't underestimate the strength of Karim Benzema because he is not an average player but a world class player, his performance at Real Madrid can attest to that. However, for the issues of Al Hilal getting more allocation and funding from the Public Investment Funds, i think the Saudi government knows why they give Al Hilal more priority than the rest 3 teams so it shouldn't bother Cristiano Ronaldo at all because it is not something he can be able to change no matter the level of protest he make for Al Nassr.

Benzeman is not that prolific striker anymore? That's laughable Benzema is still a top striker as far as the Saudi league is concerned. Ronaldo will not make it obvious that the issue is about Benzema going to Al Hilal, but do you think that if Al Hilal signed another striker that wasn't in the calibre of Benzema would Ronaldo be acting this way? While I wait for you to answer that question, the Benzema you said is not a prolific striker anymore has scored hat trick and gave an assist in his debut match for Al Hilal today.

Wow! What an impressive performance from Al Hilal today..I now see the reason why Ronaldo was protesting about this transfer! Benzema just displayed a world class performance today by scoring a hatrick and providing an assist in this 6-0 victory against Al Okhdood, basically I think Al Hilal are now fully back in dominating the title race and it might kinda be hard for Al Nassr to catch up in this race. But Al Nassr will still be one points behind Al Hilal if they win their match tomorrow against Al ittihad. So Al Nassr still have chances of catching up them if they’re still consistent in winning their games.

So the title race will be more intense this time between Al Nassr and Al Hilal, and I think the Saudi league should settle with Ronaldo over the transfer because this whole thing is kinda damaging the reputation of their league.

Al Nassar have the squad to challenge for the Saudi pro league and even win it without Cristiano Ronaldo, players like Sadio Mane, Joan Felix, Kingsley Coman should step up their game especially in this current situation they are in, it’s a very huge challenge for them and of course Cristiano Ronaldo have been a very important player for them going forward as he have scored so many goals. I think if the other players can up their game and play their hearts out they will be able to still win their matches and Match Al Hilal toe to toe.
