Although Al Hilal won by a single goal in their away match against Al Fayha, that victory wasn’t enough to secure the championship for them. I was frankly surprised that they didn’t end the match with a more decisive result, even though they scored in the 4th minute. After all, your opponent might potentially drop points, so you need to secure a high-scoring victory in this match to at least avoid putting your title hopes at risk. Ruben Neves failed to convert a penalty kick in the second half. They finished the season in second place, two points behind Al Nassr.
Al-Hilal won their last fixture against AL-Fayha . In the first half Mandash scored an early goal in the 4th minute and that was the only goal scored in the entire game. AL-Hilal dominated the first half completely 61% possession, 1 big chance created and scored but only 2 shots and 1 on target. In the second half AL-Fayha turns the table and gain possession 53% and total of 4 shots with 0.16xG but AL-Hilal with 47% possession created 1 big chance and missed and total of 8 shots. Mandash  is named as player of the match for scoring the only goal of the game.
Exactly, that's for sure Al Hilal secured a highly contested victory over Al Fayha in the final match of the Saudi Pro League season but you should observe that this season Al Nassr are the new champions and Cristiano Ronaldo's team secured the title by two points, so congratulations to them because the expectations of football fans like us have been fulfilled after this team became the new champion. This victory was deserved by Al Nassr because although they have played fairly well in other seasons, we all know this season they have played with the most enthusiasm and they were obsessed with winning trophies, from what I've seen, Al Hilal are runners-up in the Saudi league for two consecutive seasons, which is definitely a great development for them.

Al-Hilal has always been a contender for the championship title every season. however, last season and this season, they’ve only managed to finish in second place. The last time they won the title was in the 2023–24 season, when they clinched the championship by a wide margin. at that time, they were even an undefeated team in nearly every competition. But over the past two seasons, I think they’ve still remained a strong team. The problem is that other teams in the SPL have also improved rapidly. Al-Hilal will have to fight even harder if they want to win the title next season, because next season all the teams will start stepping up their game again. still, it’s truly remarkable that Al-Hilal hasn’t lost a single match in the SPL this season.

This is the sign of a developing league. Every season, teams will improve and fight for the title. In the last three seasons, we have seen three new champion teams. Al Hilal's problem in the last two seasons has been their lack of consistency in performance. Some times during the season, they win and some times they lose. We have seen this this season as well. In the coming season, I would like to see the competition become more competitive and I would like to see a new champion team, it could be Al-Ahli or Al Qadsiah or one of the old champions.

in essence, those who hate him will continue to hate him no matter what Ronaldo does on the field. Because basically, since the past, many people have disliked Ronaldo, and I also don't know the exact reason, because basically what Ronaldo has done until now is clearly very good. Because as we know, Ronaldo is always able to bring the team he defends to become champions,, and that is clearly an achievement that not all players can do. So that's why I also don't know why there are still many people who hate him.

Even though Ronaldo did not make any mistakes. So yes,, it's human, things like this have been very common and have happened since the past. So that's why we don't need to pay attention to people like that. Because basically,, Ronaldo also doesn't seem to care too much about people who hate him. That's why Ronaldo has been so successful to this day. He consistently responds to criticism with incredible accomplishments. So,, it's no surprise that Ronaldo is considered one of the greatest players in football history...
Well that is mostly because he talks. While I understand that other players talks too, but I do not see that many players go out and say "I am the best player in the world", and yet Ronaldo keeps doing that, his ego and his narcissism is the reason why there are many people who hate him.

Plus the downside for Ronaldo is that, in any other time period of the world, even right now, if he was in his prime scoring 60 goals a season, he would be seen the greatest to ever play, but that dude got unlucky and played against Messi, which resulted with him not being the top, people preferred Messi, who was calmer and more silent. You never hear about Messi saying how he is the best, you hear about Ronaldo posting it himself, praising himself, celebrating himself, that annoys people.

If not because Al Nassr is already a member of the AFC, I would have wished they are enlisted as members of the UEFA Champions League, let's see how far they can also go in the UEFA champions league. I was checking whether there are possibilities of them playing in the AFC but the chances are very low as such debates have been countered by UEFA President Alessandra who stated explicitly only European clubs are eligible to play or participate in the UEFA competitions which is fine. It has help addressed future issues which may come with the dominance of UEFA over other competitions such as the AFC.

This variability in performance of big clubs has created an expansive chance in the development of other powers in a division of the highest flight of football. It is consistency of making points in vital games that is the difference between title challengers and average teams. The aspect of mobility of star players will have a huge impact on the balance of power between a club at the start of the new season.

After Al-Nassr officially became league champions, this achievement immediately made Al-Hilal lose the league title in the last 2 seasons, those who usually dominate the league have been unable to do anything in the last 2 seasons. They must learn from the experiences of these 2 seasons, if they want to win the league title next season.

The league hasn't started yet, but if I were to ask you who will win the league, which team would be your strongest candidate?

Congratulations again on Al Nassr winning the league, it's not been an easy run for them but they manage to earned themselves this title, what a work and effort from them, they do deserve accolades. Al Hilal missed out on the Saudi Pro League title this season after been unbeaten this season, they didn't lose a game unlike Al Nassr that lost points, this is what competitiveness means. It was really a challenging task for Jorge Jesus who happens to be Al Nassr manager, what an incredible effort he put for Al Nassr players to win the SPL this season.

Next season is going to be really competitive because not only Al Hilal and Al Nassr will compete, other rivals will join in the race but these two teams are the major ones that stand out.

I also feel that Al Hilal is truly a great team right now. Although they didn't win the Saudi Arabian League,, they consistently played very well in every match. Achieving such consistency is clearly not easy. Therefore,, we should give high appreciation to the Al Hilal players and their coach, who have made Al Hilal an undefeated team this season. Furthermore, speaking of next season,, I'm not sure what the competition will be like in the Saudi Arabian League. Teams with large funds will certainly try to improve their teams by bringing in top players from Europe. So, considering this,, the competition next season will likely be even fiercer in the Saudi Arabian League.

However,, I strongly believe that Al Nasr, Al Hilal, and Al Ahli will dominate the league next season. Because currently, these three teams are performing exceptionally well. As we know, Al Nasr has won the Saudi Arabian League,, Al Ahli also won the Asian Champions League this season, and Al Hilal, although they didn't win the Saudi Arabian League, have performed exceptionally well this season. So, that's clear evidence that these three teams are performing exceptionally well,, and they will likely continue to perform well next season.

This season didn't go well for Al Ittihad; they finished in 5th place with 55 points, 34 games, and only 16 wins. We could say it was an accident or bad luck they had. But it gets worse when we look at the title winner versus Al Ittihad. While the title winner finished the season with 86 points, Al Ittihad finished with 55 points, 31 points behind Al Nassr. It was simply a disaster for Al Ittihad, and because of this, the Al Ittihad management and coach Sérgio Conceição reached a mutual agreement for him to leave the club.

Al Ittihad's squad was very weak compared to other top teams. After Benzema left, they didn't even sign at least two highly skilled players to replace him. Honestly, I don't know why they thought they could compete with other top teams with that current squad. The coach is skilled, but even he couldn't do much with that weak squad. Anyway, the question now is: who will be Al Ittihad's next coach?

It's too early to say because teams haven't yet completed the transfers to build their squads. It would be more logical and sensible to comment on this when the season starts. Right now, every team will want to sign the best players to be able to win the championship. Many players will become free agents in the European market and will likely receive offers from Saudi Arabia. Premier League teams will also be looking to sign players. I expect the competition to be at a very high level next year as well.

If only Al-hilal continue winning this league, perhaps we'll start referring to this league as the second farmers league. If there's no competition from other clubs, then the league becomes uninteresting to watch. Al-hilal has won this league about nineteen times, that's a double figure ahead of other clubs that won nine times. Hilal still has the best defence in this league that normally makes them unbeaten most of the seasons. Alnassr was lucky, they nearly lose it to Al Hilal again.

Nothing wrong with disliking a player though, I mean that is the most normal situation and we should not be considering that as a bad thing, because this is sports and that's how it exists.

If we all loved every single player, and nobody hated or disliked any players or teams, then there would not be anything that we need to arrange something that would not be a big deal at all. I mean we would not pay hundreds of euros every single year for tickets and even jerseys and many more, could reach a thousand bucks a year, just to see these teams beat the other teams because we dislike them.

Dislike is OK. But hate is not. From what I have seen from thousands of posts in this thread, there is a lot of hatred being directed towards Ronaldo. And I don't know the exact reason. The level of hatred he receives seems to be much greater compared to that of other players such as Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi. I don't understand the reason for this. Ronaldo is 41 years old, and he is still playing in one of the toughest leagues in the world (Saudi Professional League). On the other hand, Messi has moved from Europe to America, and is taking part in a relatively easy league (Major League Soccer).

Some people are just being too stupid, I don’t understand why someone will be so interested in saying bad things against another person, is fine not to like someone because of their attitude but hating someone that has not done anything bad to you is just stupidity and nothing more, some people says Ronaldo is not playing well I don’t know if they forget that man’s age, how many players are on same age with him are still performing like his doing and scoring goals like he those, no body can take the fact that Ronaldo is a very good and great player who have succeeded in football and there’s nothing anybody’s hate can do to him or change the records he has gotten all this years they have lifted the league and that’s final.

Next season is going to be really competitive because not only Al Hilal and Al Nassr will compete, other rivals will join in the race but these two teams are the major ones that stand out.

Al-Hilal & Al-Nassr, most of us must only think about these two teams to be candidates for the league winners next season. They are like Barcelona & Real Madrid in La Liga, or like Liverpool & Manchester City in the Premier League. Basically, there are 2 other strong candidates, they are Al-Ittihad & Al-Ahli. While they will struggle to break Al-Hilal's dominance, it's still more plausible when compared to Borussia Dortmund's chances of breaking Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga.

It will be very difficult to predict the team that will win the league next season, because Saudi professional league is getting competitive every season and we don't know how they will strengthen their teams next season. But my prediction with their current squads and this season performance, I will take Al Hilal as my strongest candidate next season.

Al Hilal had an impressive performance this season despite they didn't win the league, because they ended the season with an unbeaten record. That made the league tougher for Al Nassr because Al Nassr was just one step away from losing the league. So if Al Hilal will be consistent next season, I'm confident they will be the Saudi Pro league champion.

It's evidence that no team will reign or dominate forever, except in the French Ligue 1, where we have such a thing playing out for the past two decades now, PSG has been the dominant team over there, and where the rest of the other teams don't seem to get bothered. The English Premier League is the most interesting and most watched league in the world due to the fact that no team can dominate for a full decade or even win for 5 straight seasons without having another team come in between.

I'm actually happy to see a different team winning the league each season, proving that the SPL is increasingly competitive. This season Al Nassr deserved the SPL trophy due to their consistent play, high fighting spirit and a much improved squad compared to the previous season. While Al Hilal finished the season undefeated, too many draws will also be detrimental. Al Ittihad the defending champions last season experienced a significant decline especially after several players left. Al Ahli improved significantly this season resulting in a third place finish. Overall this SPL season has been quite exciting.

I think it's too early to predict next season as there will undoubtedly be many changes especially when the transfer window opens. Al Nassr coach has also resigned from the club, so it will be very difficult to predict who will win the trophy next season. But what is clear is that the SPL trophy race will be more competitive next season.

Al nassr coach has just left. After winning, Jorge Sesus walked straight out. It seems as though he made a personal commitment to winning Ronaldo a title and when he did, he was gone. The next person who enters has to follow that. I'm sure that guy will have good luck.

Al hilal i'm a little nervous about too if i'm being real. Same coach, same system, and the same games they should've won. Apparently, Inzaghi isn't moving on. This is good but similar to. It was not bad luck that caused the draws to not continue. They stopped because now teams know what's coming.

The most stable of the three is actually Al ahli. Manager still in place and key players young, and still won the whole of asia, despite finishing third at home. Which when you actually sit with that fact for a moment is kind of absurd.

However, the team i always go back to is Qadsiah. Rodgers builds teams that cause problems for EVERYONE. Not just mid-table. And next season they bring experience, confidence and a striker who already has the ability to outscore ronaldo.

I would say that it is a four-team race rather than a three-team race. That's actually more exciting, if you think about it.
