In as much as no club would want to let a good manager leave at such a sensitive moment as this, it is also important to know that the decision of the coach has to respected because only him knows the exact reason why he wants to step aside, there might have some challenges that could have triggered the coach into making such a drastic decision after winning the Saudi professional league title or maybe he has been offered something better elsewhere in a more prestigious club in Europe.

I think the Portuguese forward may rather prefer to stay on at Al Nasr after the expiration of his contract, he has nothing to lose and I don't think many European clubs would be much interested in him by then so his only suitable option would be to renew his contract with the Saudi Arabian side Al Nasr, maybe for a short spell, at least this would guarantee him much more money in anticipation for his retirement and future investments if he intends indulging in something different after retirement.

Since Al Nassr signed Ronaldo they have clearly wanted the SPL to gain global attention, attracting star European players to the league thereby increasing its competitiveness. The SPL hopes have now been met. Furthermore with Saudi Arabia set to host the 2034 World Cup the presence of many European players in the SPL will undoubtedly have an impact on their national team.

While they will struggle to break Al-Hilal's dominance, it's still more plausible when compared to Borussia Dortmund's chances of breaking Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga.

Next season, I'll like to see other clubs challenge both teams and make the league more competitive because at this point, it's now a league with global attention around it.

Christiano Ronaldo is a goal chaser and sets new goals after the other. I am pretty sure that he will have a very good post career duties and engagements. He has already proven himself in the area of investments and entrepreneurship with the many investments he already has including Hotels and wears. However, as a football lover, he will not want to stay completely out of the field and there are chances that he would break into the coaching duty faster than his counterpart Messi after retirement. If he retires in Saudi Arabia, he would likely stay with their youth team and then to the first team trainer. If he goes back to Portugal too, there will be a lot of young teams that will need his service in the management team too. His road to coaching positions may just be like that of the Vincent Kompany, rising as fast as no one may imagine.

As of now, Ronaldo has 973 official senior career goals to his name. During the next season of the Saudi Professional League (2026-27), Al Nassr can be expected to play 34 matches, and if there are no injury issues, Ronaldo should be playing all of them. He may not participate in the King's Cup though. But there are other avenues as well. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will start in two weeks from now. Ronaldo can be expected to play a bare minimum of 3 group phase matches, and probably much more during the knockout phases. Therefore I believe that he should be able to reach the target of 1,000 goals quite easily during the next season.

Yes,, it does make sense that Al Hilal's performance will improve again next season, because this season, Al Hilal's performance is actually quite good, because they have never lost this season, which proves that they are great. But the problem this season is that Al Hilal may be less consistent in terms of performance, because in certain matches Al Hilal often only managed to get a draw. So that's what made Al Hilal fail to become champions this season. Maybe if Al Hilal didn't often draw this season,, I think they could have become champions in the Saudi Arabian League.

Yea, I don't think Ronaldo will leave football entirely after he has achieved his 1000 goals milestone. He will definitely, be part of a coaching team somewhere. The SPL can keep him there or he will move to a new place to continue his good work in football due to the passion he has for the game.

yes, i believe that it is the job of the entire football federation of those areas to attract the major phenomena of world football to have a championship at the highest level, but they will never be as attractive as the European championships where the history of football was made and where there will never be a real comparison with them.

There are differences in quality of the cup for the viewers, but when you win a league, you do not think "hmm there is nothing to celebrate this is not as big as UCL that I won before", you just be happy. He was happy, expecting him to not be too happy because he already won multiple UCL titles and many other league titles, makes no sense at all and we should not consider how this could be calculated in that moment.
