I don't continue to consider this championship, it's really of very low quality even if the coaches and players are top, but let's say that they will never be able to have the same level as the other championships, it will always remain a fairly mediocre championship, however the fact is that there is a lot of talent and that every now and then it's not bad to watch a few games.
What are you saying mate, aside the top 3 league, which league is their to be compared with the Saudi pro league currently, is it Turkish league, Scottish or even Belgium league. Saudi pro league is on a different wave right now, they are far above where you are placing them. Did you even see how the title race was talk about by every sport channels any Analyst.

Do you even know how much sport channel even make just for viewing the Saudi pro league, or how much viewers the league has. Bro this league is big. With Ronaldo still in the league the league can only grow bigger.

Personally, I didn't know about this league myself, the league became familiar to me because of star players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr. and Sadio Mane coming to the SPL. However, I think that the league has become a little more competitive than before. There is no big difference in the points of the first four teams this season. The first four teams are fighting well for the title and have tried to make the league competitive. But Al Ittihad's decline this season was noticeable. I think the league will be more competitive in the upcoming season.
Many of us got there that way. I actually preferred watching the African leagues because I love their style of play. I don't know, I really like their way of playing. They do a lot of things, like dribbling differently. Sometimes it's very similar to the South American style, but when CR7 went to Saudi Arabia, my interest really shifted much more towards that, where I saw that the football was poor, in the sense that there wasn't good technique. Now I love Saudi football, but thanks to CR7.

Someone in his position and fitness would definitely continue another season or two until he pass the 1k goal, let's say 1007 goals for example Wink
Once this goal is reached, he can retire from being a player and turn to training a Saudi or a Portuguese team then slowly take over bigger teams. He might leave professional football and run a service related to Sport and start competing Nike and Adidas Roll Eyes
Yea, I don't think Ronaldo will leave football entirely after he has achieved his 1000 goals milestone. He will definitely, be part of a coaching team somewhere. The SPL can keep him there or he will move to a new place to continue his good work in football due to the passion he has for the game.
He is not playing to set his records, he is playing to his physical strength and fitness, as long as he is involved in it, he will keep playing, whether it is 1000 goals or 2000 goals, he will keep playing. Obviously, every player is not fully prepared, he changes himself in every match, he sees his weakness and in the next game he corrects it. No, he will not leave the SPL now because he will play in the same league for as long as he plays now and besides, he encourages his son to play in the same league, this shows that he will spend his life in the SPL. Since Ronaldo has been in the SPL, he has confirmed himself and signed big contracts, so it is difficult for him to say or move.

Ronaldo has done better than most people that joined Saudi league, while he was one of the first ones, at least the first one to make it famous, there were many people who ended up joining after him, and not many did as good as him.

Look at other players and you will see that not many did that great, Mitrovic maybe, and like a few players had a good season, but he has been here for years and doing great for years. Dude is 40+ years old and he is still doing great.

So far, only Cristiano Ronaldo & Mitrovic can be considered to have had good seasons in the SPL, they have made a real contribution to the club. But I think other names will follow, as long as they remain in this league, they're Sadio Mane or Joao Felix. I don't really pay attention to the league that well, I think there are other big names from Al-Hilal or Al-Ittihad.

BTW, the party isn't over for Cristiano Ronaldo, he will still play his part in the upcoming WC, hoping that he can make a good contribution for Portugal.

Ronaldo winning the league was something he will cherish of course, while it is not one of the most important titles he has (dude has multiple UCL titles) it is important to remember that Ronaldo may not play anywhere else until he retires, and Al Hilal looks like a great team now, so next season it would be hard to beat them.

These all of them together means we are talking about Ronaldo having only one chance, which was this year, to win a league title with his very last team, otherwise it would not worked out that great. I think it would make sense if we can go on, otherwise it would not work well for them. Ronaldo got Felix to help him this year, and they did great.
Yes, basically,, although the trophy won by Ronaldo with Al Nasr in the Saudi Arabian League is not as good as the UCL trophy, or trophies in the top European leagues. But still,, that is not what makes the trophy won by Ronaldo with Al Nasr special. Because basically what makes the Saudi Arabian League trophy special for Ronaldo, it is clear because now he is old and when he is still able to get a trophy, it is clearly a very special thing. In addition, Ronaldo has also been at Al Nasr for quite a long time, and it was only this season that Ronaldo managed to realize being able to give a trophy to Al Nasr.

So I think that is what makes Al Nasr's victory this season so special. Then talking about next season,, I also feel that next season Ronaldo must be able to bring Al Nasr to be champions again if he wants to retire with an even more extraordinary sensation. Because if he could win a trophy and then retire,, that would be an unimaginable joy. But I still don't know for sure when Ronaldo will retire from football. What's clear is that Ronaldo must lead Al Nasr to victory again next season...

Cristiano Ronaldo should have just ended his contract with Al Nassr after winning the Saudi Pro League even though his contract is still valid until 2027. For Cristiano Ronaldo to win the SPL again is unrealistic because winning it this season was not an easy task and i believe next season will be tough for them because Al Hilal will want to win the title since they lost it by just few points this season. If Ronaldo is wise what he should do is to retire from football after the world cup tournament but since he wants to reach 1000th career goals it will be difficult for him so say goodbye to football.

Now I love Saudi football, but thanks to CR7.

Yes,, the Saudi Arabian League is as popular as it is today thanks to Ronaldo joining Al Nasr. From that point on, the Saudi Arabian League began to gain recognition and eventually recruited more top European players. So,, it's clear that Ronaldo was the one who attracted European players to join and play in the Saudi Arabian League. I'm sure that if Ronaldo hadn't joined Al Nasr,, the Saudi Arabian League likely wouldn't be as popular as it is today. So,, the Saudi Arabian League should definitely be grateful to Ronaldo. However, we can't ignore the efforts of the teams in the Saudi Arabian League.

They also sacrificed a lot of money to make the Saudi Arabian League increasingly have top European players. So,, it's clear that the Saudi Arabian League's success is due to the cooperation and sacrifice of all parties involved. This is indeed very good,, because it's very rare for a country whose football was previously unknown to reach such a level of progress in the Saudi Arabian League. So I hope that all of this can last long enough.

The only thing @ banana33 said that I did not agree is seeing the championship as a league that doesn't have quality, Saudi Arabia is not behind in sports but all this league are very quality, the clubs we have on that league should also convinced us the importance of the league because AI Nassr that came best for there professional league is also on this championship you undervalued. @Abbatty you are right about the high sports channels that are into Saudi Arabia matches and some you said but in terms of bringing Turkish league to compare Saudi league you are not correct because Turkish league is an old league that's popular and is still the same even when this Saudi league is gaining value than before. So actually so long as we love this league it doesn't matter which of them is getting stronger.

I think Saudi Pro League is now on a very next level than they were in few years back. But no one knows them back few years ago. And I think this league got attraction when they add the world class players and the coaches into the league. That is the time when the league attracts the people from all over the world which makes this league important and familiar to all the world. And i think now the league is on that spot where more talented and energetic players are interested to join this league and be the part of the Saudi Pro league. And on one can neglect the fact that Saudi Pro league is become famous worldwide after the joining of Cristiano Ronaldo.  Because he is the player who has been serving from a long time period and also very talented consider in the one of the best world class player.

No one can turn a blind eye to this fact, the Saudi Arabian league became interesting because of CR7, therefore also other star players entered the Saudi Arabian league, even myself sometimes not interested in other leagues only the English premier league, the Bundes League, Serie A, UCL and other big leagues that I watch, now Saudi Arabia is getting attention with the level of popularity that continues to grow since the arrival of CR7, and in my opinion the decision to bring him was a very correct decision, in addition to his fans and hatters are very much.

Sometimes it's very similar to the South American style, but when CR7 went to Saudi Arabia, my interest really shifted much more towards that, where I saw that the football was poor, in the sense that there wasn't good technique. Now I love Saudi football, but thanks to CR7.

Cristiano Ronaldo is unarguably the most influential football of his generation. Before joining the Saudi Pro League, I rarely read, watch or hear about the league. Majority of the people following the developments in the league today are doing so because of the presence of Ronaldo.

Talking about competitiveness depends on the context in my opinion, whether in terms of the ability of the team or in terms of popularity, we could consider that the Saudi Arabian league is more competitive because we often see it and a lot of famous players enter there and become the spotlight, one of which has not been mentioned is Benzema, in this point of view in my opinion it depends on how the competition between the teams in the league is good or not, it's just that I see this Arab professional league as more popular but that doesn't mean it's more competitive than MLS.

We don't know what the fate of the Saudi League would be like if Ronaldo didn't come to this league, maybe until now the SPL is still quiet and not many people are interested, after his arrival the popularity of the Saudi League immediately increased rapidly, especially since he also made several European players follow in his footsteps to play in the SPL. But this also raises my curiosity if Ronaldo retires and leaves the Saudi League because currently Ronaldo has won the title he longed for before retiring, he is currently only chasing his 1000 goal record after that maybe he will take a break, then what about the fate of Saudi Arabia? will it remain popular or will it decline  Huh

If there's one thing that has kept the Arab League at its peak, it's CR7. I say that the moment he leaves that league, things won't be the same. Just look at FOX; while CR7 was protesting, they stopped broadcasting because they didn't have enough viewers. If you can see the effect there, I don't want to imagine what will happen if he leaves, and he will. Then things with him will be different. Wherever he goes, everything changes for the better.

No no. I think you're right, that Ronaldo should be the catalyst. I think the part of the story that really gets interesting is what occurred after that initial wave.

Some clubs were ingenious. Al Nassr acquired Joao Félix from Chelsea for a relatively low price. The guy's 25 and he just walked away with Player of the Season. 20 goals, highest number of assists in the league. Here's how a proper signing should look.

And then you've got Al Hilal doing... Whatever Al Hilal was doing. They bought Nunez for like 53 million. And then halfway through the season decided to also get Benzema. And then realized oh wait we have too many foreigners registered, so they just dropped Nunez? He literally left for free. Fifty-three million, gone.

Al Qadsiah is also very great. They had a new manager in Brendan Rodgers, different backers and were newly promoted. And they played the best football in the league, finishing top four. Outpossessing everyone. Their striker Quiñones scored more goals than Ronaldo. No one speaks about them, because it doesn't fit the story.

The Saudi government cut off the funding at the source. Sports got removed from the national investment plan. LIV Golf is being defunded. Oil production crashed hard because of the Iran situation and suddenly all that "unlimited money" has somewhere else it needs to be. So, the collaboration you're referring to? It was true, it lasted for three years. However, the checkbook is running out of money.

He could be using these metrics as a tool to raise the pressure for new contract negotiations. Grin

I am serious, the SPL knows his value for the league and if he decides to protest and the viewership shrinks like you said, this is strong leverage in his hands.

Nevertheless the Saudi people are proud people and I think they won't allow anyone from a foreign country to use leverage against them. That is why it is possible that the contract will soon come to an end because they don't want to look like sheep.

On the other hand it is possible that they will offer him the same contract or better year after year. Either way he is making unprecedented money there.

Cristiano Ronaldo is unarguably the most influential football of his generation. Before joining the Saudi Pro League, I rarely read, watch or hear about the league. Majority of the people following the developments in the league today are doing so because of the presence of Ronaldo.
The Major League Soccer had more global audience before Ronaldo joined Al Nassr but at the moment, the Saudi league enjoys more global attention than MLS. Apart from the attention, I think the Saudi league is more competitive than MLS.
Yes,, I also agree with you, my friend, because until now I have not found a player who has the charisma and influence as big as Ronaldo. Even since a long time ago, since football was introduced to the public, I don't think there is a player like Ronaldo. Because basically, Ronaldo is like a huge magnet, because wherever he goes, his followers and also journalists will always follow him. So that's why I am also amazed by Ronaldo,, because he was able to create this big popularity that perhaps no football player has ever been able to get before.

So that's why when Ronaldo played in the Saudi Arabian League,, it was clear that this league became very global. So basically,, Ronaldo is really very great at this time and we will not be able to deny this. And if we compare the MLS with the current Saudi Arabian League,, it is very clear that the Saudi Arabian League is currently more popular than the MLS. Because even though the MLS currently boasts top players like Messi and Suarez, it still can't match the Saudi Arabian League, which boasts Ronaldo. So,, basically, Ronaldo is truly extraordinary.

Currently,, Ronaldo's contract at Al Nasr will expire in 2027, or more precisely, Ronaldo will play one more season at Al Nasr. So after that, I'm not sure where Ronaldo will go, but what is clear is that Ronaldo is very comfortable in Saudi Arabia, so it is also possible that Ronaldo will get another contract extension at Al Nasr for at least one more season. Because basically, if we look at Ronaldo's current abilities,, it is clear that he does not look like someone who is over 40 years old.

So that's why I think after Ronaldo's contract expires at Al Nasr, it is very likely that Ronaldo can extend his contract if he wants. Because basically,, if I'm not mistaken, Ronaldo also said that he also doesn't know for sure when he will retire from the world of football. So that could be a sign that Ronaldo himself has not yet determined when he will retire. However, we don't need to overthink it right now,, as it's better to simply enjoy the matches Ronaldo will play in the coming season. We don't need to worry about when Ronaldo will retire.

That's right, Ronaldo seems to be quite comfortable in Saudi Arabia. Al Nassr FC has given him great prestige, facilities and a competitive environment. So if he decides not to retire and his fitness is good, Al Nassr will not let him go and at the same time it would not be unusual to sign another contract. Another thing is that if his performance is the same as before, then there will definitely be a chance to see his performance in this World Cup.

That's what footballers often do after retirement and turn to coaching, as others have done. But for the next two seasons, Cristiano Ronaldo could still stay at Al-Nassr and strive to reach 1,000 career goals. There's a lot a professional player can do, as his marketability extends beyond the pitch. He could even become a part of football-related activities, whether as a football analyst, marketing services for football products, or anything else. Cristiano Ronaldo's influence in the world of football is quite significant, as it was when he joined Al-Nassr and we know the league is only growing in popularity.

I think the Portuguese forward may rather prefer to stay on at Al Nasr after the expiration of his contract, he has nothing to lose and I don't think many European clubs would be much interested in him by then so his only suitable option would be to renew his contract with the Saudi Arabian side Al Nasr, maybe for a short spell, at least this would guarantee him much more money in anticipation for his retirement and future investments if he intends indulging in something different after retirement.
I believe since Cristiano Ronaldo haven't reached the 1000th goal mark he is attempting to achieve he won't leave Al Nassr, the only way he will leave Al Nassr is if Al Nassr refuse to renew his contract,  yes Cristiano Ronaldo has nothing to lose and even though many European clubs wouldn't be much interested in him once he  leaves Al Nassr he will always secure a deal with either a club in Europe or aside Europe.
