Today, morning I was playing casino war, I just use martingale - I know it's lame strategy. But I won most of time.

Then later at noon, luck just didn't appear to be on my side. A constant losses with win every once in a while to recoup the losses and then losing streak, all funds gone.

Now, let's be some superstitious and say, if you play only when luck appears to be on your side, would you call that a good strategy?

Good gamblers must know that "there is not real luck" but on only statistics / math rule that can be applied on your gambling games.
Ok maybe there are some times when you feel to be "lucky" and you're winning more of the "normal" chance, but you cannot real take advantage on this since it's just based on casualty. Not more, not less.

For sure applying martingale is a destructive option for bet, " you will loss more trying to recover your previous loss".

Strategy is like a plan you've prepared and you're going to use in gambling while luck is something like a force or event that we don't know when will it come and if it's good or bad. You can't control luck while strategy can. They are both important but plays a different role.

Well as a gamblers there are a lot of superstitions that we believed, I even see someone like holding some amulet or something when they go and play slots, lol. Nevertheless gambling is still based on luck, perhaps we just want to find ways to explain our losing and winning and we blame it all on some belief, specially some higher UP that might change the course of the game in our favor. And so if you feel that you are unlucky then you should stop so that their will be no more bleeding and play the next day and test again.

You'll never know if you're lucky if you don't play. So either way you'll be playing at some point, though I won't call it a strategy as there's no strategy in luck but rather testing the waters. A good strategy is stop playing after you have a profit, take a break and enjoy your winning. Then play again the other day as playing again at the same day would definitely increase your risk in losing. After all, the longer you play the higher the risk you'll be losing.

The problem is, you don't know when the wind is going to favor your side. For example, the winning spin (in slots) can be on the 1st, 10th, or 1,000th spin. If after 100 spins you accumulated loss and then quit, it may or may not be a good decision depending on the future result. It could be that you'll get a max-win on the next 100 spins that will make a lot of profit. A similar thing also happens in dice when you search for a high multiplier, low winning chance bet. Moreover, the feeling of "it's my lucky day" sometimes is not accurate and it will turn into "a bad day" if you continue to play with this martingale strategy.

If you like martingale, however, I think reverse martingale or paroli is more suitable if you want to bet on your good streak.

For me i believe gambling has everything to do with luck and am speaking from experience,  because even with all the greatest strategies one can apply for gambling,  it will still bore down to one major factor which is luck.  As for superstitious believes, i have come across so many in my area that actually believe luck as a whole can be drawn or channel when gambling through the use of vudo magics and incantations . Well i guess you can't actually stop anyone from believing what he or she wants to believe especially when they say its works for them.

To be lucky is not about your gambling strategy because you were also having such strategy while losing, so they are both different things. Winning should tell you that luck is on your side and so I would prefer to continue playing when I'm winning and the superstition is that when you start losing, luck probably have left you. I think these are the possibilities in gambling but to have is not a probability based on strategy.

Superstition is just a coincidence with the true outcome. If a gambler is superstitious and have won, then it is his /her luck that have brought the win. But superstitious people never find it out of luck, and when lost they don't connect with the superstition for which they term it to be bad luck.

luck is only for those who dare to take risks. but real luck at gambling for me is difficult to get or can be said to be impossible. so it is better to gamble for fun than to gamble for money.

the martingale strategy, it would require huge funds just to recover our losses. the reason I say that is because martingale always increases our bets from previous losses and sometimes continuous defeats will definitely be encountered in gambling. so if you don't use large capital, it's the same as losing and losing money.

It's all up to you on how you look at it but relying on superstitions as a strategy is likely not effective. Its definitely just luck. I have tried it myself as well that one morning I win and then in the afternoon lose it all.

It's just based on luck I guess, I know I'm also a superstitious person as far as my gambling activities goes, but it's a hit or miss. So even if you go to the lengths of praying, you might not win because everything is based on luck specially dice or slot games.

So you are lucky in the morning, maybe your timing is right. But later in the noon, it's a massive U-turn on your side, to the point your winnings and capital has been swept, experience that many times as well.

There’s a 2 definition of luck. First the force being described by the OP and the other one was favoring chance. I will skip to the first description and move on to the 2nd description since its what matter here.

The gambling we are talking here is a dice game so having a constant profit using calculated bets base on probability is impossible to maintain in the long run and that’s when the luck(favoring chance) needed to win. Favoring chance means you made a positive outcome to improbable scenario. Like hitting a win with huge multiplier and so on. On game that is purely relying on chances to winning. I do believe that luck really exist if you want to win more often. It just happened that most of the gambler didn’t know when to stop while luck is not always in our side since it’s pure random.

for example, if everything requires luck, sometimes we won't realize that we are lucky when we bet with multiples and win, but we keep playing so we don't realize it because self-confidence increases because we think the strategy used is successful, even though it's just superstition, to be honest, I always use techniques this was in playing casino and it never worked but i managed to get myself to stop before losing a lot of money

Any strategy that helps you win is a good strategy even if it means playing only when you are lucky. but the question is how will someone know it is their lucky time even without trying to play a game first? If there was a way to know this, it will help a lot and be a good strategy to use as it will save you a lot of money and make gambling a dependable source of income. What makes a player a good player, is the way he deals with losses and winnings, and the way he applies different strategies and techniques to tackle luck the most he can. Basically, in order to have a professional approach to gambling, you should always try to isolate luck the most you can and only allow yourself to gamble when there is enough statistical data to guide you to a good decision. Of course that some games are almost only based on luck, so these are the ones an experienced gambler should avoid.

At least, this is how I see things. We can translate everything into an equation, and when you cannot turn a moment in the game into an equation, it's a red flag and a sign that you should drop off.

Martingale is probably one of the most commonly used strategies in betting. I often use it when I play in-house roulette ( A type of roulette which only has 3 choices to bet at).
This strategy can allow you to get out from a huge down due to continuous loss, sometimes even take some profit. But this is really risky as all of your "investments" and at least x2 betting could all go to waste if the luck is out of your hand at that moment. We know that we can lose sometimes even 20 rounds in a row. That's the risk of Martingale.

Playing or betting when we see that it looks like luck is on our side is not a strategy.
However, it is more inclined to suggestions and more mature thoughts to be able to fulfill a match or bet.
Believing in the suggestion that luck is on our side is indeed good because we can play calmly without anxiety and fear of defeat because self-confidence and confidence in a game also determine our victory so we don't hesitate in taking steps to play or bet.

You can't call it a strategy if it doesn't work later in the day or the next day. We can't predict our luck; it just happens to us at random, like when you win one day but lose the next.
