It's just based on luck I guess, I know I'm also a superstitious person as far as my gambling activities goes, but it's a hit or miss. So even if you go to the lengths of praying, you might not win because everything is based on luck specially dice or slot games.

There’s a 2 definition of luck. First the force being described by the OP and the other one was favoring chance. I will skip to the first description and move on to the 2nd description since its what matter here.

The gambling we are talking here is a dice game so having a constant profit using calculated bets base on probability is impossible to maintain in the long run and that’s when the luck(favoring chance) needed to win. Favoring chance means you made a positive outcome to improbable scenario. Like hitting a win with huge multiplier and so on. On game that is purely relying on chances to winning. I do believe that luck really exist if you want to win more often. It just happened that most of the gambler didn’t know when to stop while luck is not always in our side since it’s pure random.

What makes a player a good player, is the way he deals with losses and winnings, and the way he applies different strategies and techniques to tackle luck the most he can. Basically, in order to have a professional approach to gambling, you should always try to isolate luck the most you can and only allow yourself to gamble when there is enough statistical data to guide you to a good decision. Good for you if it worked but as many of us are aware of, this strategy puts the gambler into bigger risk because the idea behind this strategy is to push your luck until you get the win. Problem would be up until will you be able to endure loss multiplier? 'coz if you would follow the strategy itself, you'd double it up until the result become in favor on your end. Indeed, I really believe that it is pure math only specifically based on Statistics and Probability, I remember some time in college some professors taught us how to solve the probability of dice, cards and some other things it is really possible with mathematics though I think if you will go to actual casino it will only  cause an issue since casino admins will notice that you are reading the algorithm on it, maybe you will be stop to play or getting banned I'm not sure though but I really don't know if this will actually happen, there's no luck in the world.

I think that could only be considered as luck if it doesn't happen continuously but it will be an effective strategy if you'll keep doing the same thing and you're having a winning streak. A good strategy should be applicable at all times and will show constant result but if not, you might only be relying on luck. Oh, there is always an excuse to explain why something they foresaw didn't happen as expected. This kind of cleverness is quite familiar to me, as I've also seen people being fooled with such excuses, although not exactly by healers, rather by religious authorities from traditional Christian religions. It's unbelievable that even after facing such excuses people don't see the reality in front of their eyes. They keep believing and trusting their lives to charlatans who saw in religion and human's weaknesses a money making method.

Nope. It is just luck. The strategy you use has nothing to do with your winnings or losses. Even if you don't use any strategy, wager everything you got, if you are lucky, you will win. This looks more like playing based on feelings rather than on strategy. You don't really know when your lucky charm will appear in gambling but learn when to call it a day while you're still winning. OP won some money and couldn't stop thinking about it, wanted to keep playing. Came back and lost it all and it did not happen because of luck or superstition. It happened because you can't keep winning in a game of chance. Many things had been happening whether we believe in luck or not but what I know is that I don't try to gamble too much when I am losing. There is no luck formula because the same as you, I also think luck does not exist.  It is just a word to describe certain positive events that comes to a person way but scientifically, there is no such thing as luck but only chance.
