There's no way to tell who's ignoring you on bitcointalk forum since the feature to block or ignore people isn't out in the open. If you think someone's giving you the cold shoulder, the best bet is to message them directly and ask. It's also important to remember that not everyone may be interested in the same things or have the same communication style as you, and that's okay. Try not to take it personally, and try to respect other people's boundaries and preferences.

Try to have a conversation with the person that is in question and if he is ignoring you then he won't have a conversation with you. It is that simple. A person can have you in ignore without using the forum's ignore functionality. What then? Does it mean he is not ignoring you just because he isn't using this forum feature?

People even get mad when you include them in your distrust list.

Who knows how mad they'll get when they find out their "friends" have been ignoring them all along.

There is one way, although it is not 100% reliable. It happened to me several times that I wrote a post in a topic that gave a direct answer to the question, it also received merits, and then a member who is not a classic shitposter appears and writes a post that is 80% identical in terms of what I wrote. This is a more than good indicator that that member has you on ignore, because if by any chance he had read your post, he would not have repeated everything you said.

Also, if you are considered an average poster with somewhat high-quality content and you have never received an answer or merit from a certain member, there is also a high probability that you are on his ignore list.

There's no way to tell who's ignoring you on bitcointalk forum since the feature to block or ignore people isn't out in the open. If you think someone's giving you the cold shoulder, the best bet is to message them directly and ask.

IMO it's not good advice when the receiver could report your PM with reason "unsolicited/unwanted PM". If you ask to multiple users at once and some of them decide to report your PM, you might get temporary ban.

I think at least you're know you've get ignored by user which wear signature about "join anti signature spam club" and yeah maybe I'm also get ignored too. Ignore is really a good feature if you're don't want to face troll or someone usually attacking you in personal.

But until now I'm still fine and there's no user which I think need to put him on ignore, because ignoring many users aren't good option especially if you're an active DT member which leave feedbacks and want to discuss about some case or drama.

Did I not publish my ignore list just before the new year and was in an embarrassing interrogation from a user who was on the list? Right now I have none in my list, I don't think anyone will be soon too. If I don't like anyone then I can just skip their posts and read the next one.

Well for many users including me. A simple single click on ignore button is much easier rather than skipping intentionally a post from a user that you didn't like. Let's say you are following a certain thread and reading all the posts then you accidentally read the post of your ignored person. I'm sure that your opinion about his statement will be biased since you hate the guy personally. Ignore button helps you to avoid accidental drama and create a peaceful forum experience away from people that you didn't like.

If you don't want to see posts from one member, ignore him or her.

If you used to have serious arguments with someone and could not reach to agreement after all, later and now you don't see that member commented on your posts, don't quote your posts to reply and similarly, it is possibly that member ignored you.

Just possibly and Ignore in this context means either use the Ignore button or don't use that button but simply ignore your posts.

If you know anyone ignore you, let's move on and we can be a member of the forum, use it and live with it peacefully regardless of differences.

It's personal choice and we must respect it.

It is as same as when users requested to change their username/ display name, they can do it publicly including reasons for it or they can keep it privately. It's personal choice.

Those who do, it's personal that I came to know lately. It was not the same before. Example: Actmyname.
TryNinja's personal note extension is a great tool to avoid the drama. But they will not use it.
Like how many neutral these days you see not inspired with negative value? The sender can not send a red feedback because it will directly question their trustworthiness so they use the loophole.

Trust list was always public and it's fine that way. But ignoring someone was never meant to be public that's why in the system you do not see others ignore list. For the same reason Bot and TryNinja or BPIP can not scrape the data of someone's ignore list.

There is no such way and it's kept upto you only whom you put on ignore as this is maintained in the same manner for privacy concern which is good.There are some members who share their ignore list or says about ignoring particular users mostly shit posters whose post they don't want to see but there is no such way of knowing the full details for forum members.

This could be one of the determining factor to see if user has put you on ignore list but there are many users who don't care to read all the post when it's already several pages and your post can match his/hers as you said if he is not classic shitposter so he might be sharing the right information in his post.As we are just assuming this could be reason on ignore list but if you don't have any negative connection and contribute good to the forum why would good poster ignore you?

The reason for this assumption is that you cannot send merits to a board on your ignore list.

Unless you are added to ignorelist of messages. You can set it in Personal Message Options, but regarding the ignore list of users it will only limit you from seeing which users' posts will be hidden from you.

Meanwhile, we don't know who has ignored us unless they tell them so themselves. But you might find that you've been ignored if the things Lucius describes happen to you in a discussion. That is one indicator, but still not sure.

If you are worried whether or not a particular user ignored you, that is a good indicator that they were likely right to do so in the first place.
Except you are a troll or a shitposter, it does not matter and it should not bother you if you have been ignored and there is no point trying to decipher who has you on their list.

People should be able to privately avoid to see replies or boards they do no wish to see.

My ignore list is massive. I highly recommend utilizing this feature. It has changed the forum experience for me. I love it when I come on a topic now and see a bunch of ignored responses. There are plenty of users on this forum who have no problem spreading misinformation about others for no other reason than to get more posts for their signature campaign or to try and feel important getting engagement. I’d share mine but as others have alluded to, it would only stir up more feelings.

You are right—does it matter if someone ignores someone? We cannot please everyone. Even offline, we have a certain social circle, so everyone is free to draw their conclusions about who and when they want to read. People on the Internet aren't always who they pretend to be, and the aggravation of feelings, our reaction to other people's words, only reveals our intemperance or childishness. Has anyone thought that the person who annoys you on another account can be your friend? And this happens very often; sometimes people get bored with life and put on a bunch of masks because the Internet allows it.
Therefore, as long as you do not communicate with a person face-to-face, do not see his face, hear his voice, or maybe even see his identity card, it is very stupid to react to anyone and also to sort things out with him.

Yes, I also think that exposing this situation can create more misunderstandings.

But, I believe that those who do, do not do it to create more wars, but just to justify the reason for doing so in the expectation that some behaviors change. If this will work? I have some doubts. But at least these users are transparent in the community, not hiding.

No, and that is a damn good thing tbh.

If the blocked person knew they were being blocked, it could quickly end up with countless new accounts being created with only one purpose: Contacting or in some other way attacking the person who has blocked them. And since there are already enough fights here in the forum and the ignore function is one of the few functions to limit these fights, I would find it a great loss of quality if the ignore lists were now to become public.

Fortunately, I am relatively sure that @theymos will not change anything in this regard any time soon.

This doesn't bother me at all. The day things said on the forum really start to affect my life, it's a sign that I have to move away from the forum. But that would hardly happen, I'm a very patient guy.

Random thoughts when there is such a feature.
Every ignored user will probably have their own thread of drama on this board and slowly the board will lose its essence. Or yeah, other than the bounty board, it will be the second most ignored one.

I may also have to initiate a dispute with some active post reporters so they ignore me and reduce the likelihood that my post will be reported anymore.

I have a different perspective on this. Firstly, trust lists are made public in order to prevent manipulation, as they have a significant impact on how the trust system functions overall. Whereas, as you mentioned, ignore lists only affect an individual's experience on the forum.

However, if ignore lists were made public, they would have a much greater detrimental and adverse effect on the individuals who are included on them. Not only would it potentially damage their reputation within the community, but it could also lead to the exclusion of such members from any marketing campaigns and job opportunities on the forum. The perception of being on an ignore list by a significant number of reputable community members could discourage managers from hiring such individuals.

Additionally, making ignore lists public would likely discourage individuals from expressing their opinions or participating in discussions, as they would fear being added to an ignore list and facing the associated consequences. I don't have many people on my ignore list, but I have to admit that it has increased thanks to the fact that I occasionally visit WO and every time I see some very irritating posts from mostly lower-ranked members who are trying all day to catch some merits by posting meaningless links and tagging them with "breaking news". Of course, there are those who do not want or do not know how to reduce the images to the appropriate size, and even when you warn them, they continue to do everything the same as before.

As you wrote, what is visible to everyone is more harmful, but I don't think you should mix the trust list and the ignore option, even though it makes sense that someone who doesn't trust a certain member will put the same thing on the ignore list. In addition to what I already wrote in the previous post, maybe trust lists could be one of the indicators for someone to determine whose ignore list they are on.

They are different situations.

The trusted list serves as a recommendation book/complaint book for each user. So logically it should be seen by everyone.
The ignore list is simply me not reading a user's posts.

I can give negative confidence to a user, and at the same time ignore their posts.

We cannot know who ignored us but we can see our own ignored list, one does not need to bother about if ignored by someone or not, since this forum is a large community and we have people with different opinions on a different perspective, but you have to have this great confidence that as long as you're not a spammer, shitposter or a troller to the forum there's high probability that you may not get ignored by any chance but if at all you do it may not be much as others may have gotten, but most times i report a thread to moderators than using the ignore button.

Unless the guy shows his ignored list then that's the only way to find you are on his ignored list or not, even if you are on a guy's ignored list you can still pm him only if your post is not showing up on him, if the guy you think you are in his ignored list he will never quote you on topics that you both are posting because he cannot read what you're posting.
Honestly, I have no one on my ignored list I consider everyone here as my colleague, and deserves my respect even if they don't reciprocate.

Well everyone have their own reason for ignoring someone. In my opinion it's better to put those users into ignore list whose post are meaningless and is a waste of time and also the one's who you think are involved in kind of a war with you.
I guess sharing of the said list publicly is quite unethical, whatever the reason maybe is unjustifiable.

Ignoring someone's post doesn't matter because you don't want to see the person's posts or comments. But if everyone starts to ignore one another and creating a massive list for that, then who will reply or comment on who again? Then bitcointalk forum will become a Ghost Town or Society. And really publishing ignore list publically causes social maladies directly or indirectly from the listed users against the publisher, and that also causes attacks directly or indirectly. As for me I don't advise publishing ignore list but everyone has their own reasons of doing that. In most time, ignore list is coming from reputable users in the forum who would have been a mentor or a litigators to the others.

In real life if someone offense you and you don't want to greet or associate with the person as a neighbor, you can mute yourself and pass, and definitely you must see the person but you just have to be yourself. And you don't have to tell your other neighbors that these are the people I will not talk to in this compound, reason because they are my enemies. If you publish your ignore list, that shows that they are your enemies in the forum so you don't want to see them and making comments on their post so they too see you as such. Though there are different things making a user to create an ignore list but don't publish it. Ignore list in my interpretation means CREATING ENEMIES in the forum because nobody will be happy seen his or her name in the ignore list. She or he will ask him or herself, what did I do to this user to be listed in his or her ignore list.

You know some peeps are bullies in real life!? Sometimes, they don't like you, not because they've known you personally but, maybe you don't seem to speak in their favor or something else? IDK ... peeps like this would go a long way ignoring you, hoping it hurts you or make you feel disrespected, neglected or taunted.. cus they know you're certainly gonna get a notification or something else to acknowledge that fact that you've been ignored.
BTW, it's an individual choice so I feel whatever anyone does on the Southside, shouldn't affect anyone on the northland --

I doubt we've got any means to know exvept for users that have got there ignore losy spelt out on reputation. I really don't hope for there to be any means put in place to help users know when they've been ignored though. It could introduce bias you know, users getting to ignore other users just because, they've found themselves to be ignored by a certain user. Okay, I hadn't understood it that way.
In that sense, yes, some users would no longer be able to participate in campaigns, mainly those that were ignored by DT users.

Lately I've been wondering if we can find out who ignored us.
Is there any way to find out who ignored us? 

Then you go to war if you knew 😂. I believe there are users you ignored too. Would you want them to know they're ignored by you? I think it's best not to bother one's brain about a minute issue like that. I'm sure there are users on whose ignore list I am but I don't want to let that bother me a bit. They must've their reasons for taking such an action but I'm not going to be bothered by their action. That's a past for me. Anything past shouldn't be a weight on anyone. There's a reason a vehicle's windscreen is bigger than its side mirrors. The windscreen sees the front and that's the future while the side mirrors are for things behind (past).

If you are worried whether or not a particular user ignored you, that is a good indicator that they were likely right to do so in the first place.

People get into fights for reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of someone's posting. Because of those conflicts, you might end up on that person's ignore list. Everyone has the right to ignore anyone they want to, but I have always looked at that list as a place where you put the worst spammers of them all and not someone you disagreed with for whatever reason.

But I don't think these lists should be public and it's a good thing they aren't. Imagine if you could see the people who reported your posts for rule violations and the drama that would ensue? Instead of a normal discussion board, this would turn into a payback community where many would hold grudges against others and look to get them into the same problems they were in.

I don't think who you've ignored should be public. All it would do is cause drama and arguments. Back in the day I believe people's ignore button would glow different colours depending on how many people had ignored you but that was removed. If you really want to ignore someone just ignore them and don't respond to their posts. You can usually tell who has ignored you though because ironically they will tell you at every opportunity which is of course the digital/online equivalent of sticking your fingers in both your ears and going "nah, nah, I can't hear you"  .

Never click that button, because it will be very difficult for a user to bother me at that point. If you need to ignore a post, ignore it without resorting to this feature. Hardly a user will bother me. If I really don't like someone, just don't reply to their comments, that's the best way to handle the situation. But, I can say that this doesn't happen to me here, I like to get along with everyone.

Exactly. If you ignore them, you wouldn't see that change, and you could spend a long time ignoring someone who now even brings value to the community. Attention, I understand the idea of the ignore feature, for my style it's just not useful. But for those who find it useful, let it be used well.

Well, then, you must be one of the very few early members of this forum (pre-2015) who doesn't. I get to read comments here where veteran members talk about how they easily place other users on their ignore list because of slight provocation or disagreement in principle. For me, I don't have any ish with users placing other users on ignore for whatsoever reason because I know it's a matter of choice and doesn't get above that. The one I don't like is when users try to lord it over others like they hold the oxygen they breathe.

If there is ignore feature then that is for a reason man, it clearly indicates someone doesn’t want to see the messages because they either dislike the person, dislike their posts or something else which probably triggered them to click the ignore button next to the profile.

It's true... sometimes it would be useful to have an "ignore" button in real life, so we don't have to put up with some people.

But sometimes the person we are ignoring has nothing against us, the person has free mind towards us but on our own we just ignore the person probably because of a mistake he does in the process of communicating, why can't we tell him or her mistake, instead of ignoring the person. Personally I don't like people that talk too much, I use to avoid them and that doesn't mean I won't greet them, I still greet them but I don't associate with them in any activity.
Here in the forum we learn from one another. We don't know whether the person we are ignoring has the information we were looking for for a very long time and if we are ignoring the user and the information has been dropped, how will we know it.

I will like to ask if i put a user on ignore, will he be able to send me PM? i need to have this clarification because I've discovered recently on receiving unsolicited messages on my PM which i will love to stop the sender against future reoccurrence, i think this will help me more if possible than reporting them to moderators which may also get them into more troubles, any PM i received and suspect them to be abnormal will get the sender ignored by me.

Yes, that's right, I agree with your point of view. Personally, I don't see any need to know who ignores us. Basically, I don't see any need for an ignore list.

I honestly do not know what is the great benefit of the forum from having such a list, as it increases conflicts in the forum and leads to personal hatred between some members at times.

Even spammers should not be put in ignore list or we will not be able to read their posts and report them.

On your profile settings there are two different ignore lists. One under "Ignore user options" which simply hides the ignored user’s posts from you (but has no effect on PMs), and another under "Personal Message Options", which does what you want (the latter).

I’ve personally got both of those lists empty, and although I (seldom) use the former every now and then, I also resort to clearing it periodically.

To block members from sending you private messages on bitcointalk.org, go to your "Profile" and then to "Personal Message Options" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;sa=pmprefs). On that page, you will find the "Ignorelist" feature, where you can add the members you wish to block.

There's no way to find out who ignored us, maybe if they tell us before they ignore us. We can only see who we ignored us on our profile and the board preferences that we ignore.

If you think someone's giving you the cold shoulder, the best bet is to message them directly and ask.

If you expect a response from someone in a thread and they never write one, or for pretty much any other reason you might think you're being ignored, chances are that it's because very few members here actually read posts--and it's even rarer to have two or more members having an actual discussion.  Most sig campaigners and all bounty hunters I bet just write something quick based on the title of the thread.  Even if it looks like they're reading because they quoted someone else's post, they usually just write generic shit.

I'm glad there's no way to know who's on who's ignore list.  That would add one more layer of drama to the forum, which is something we definitely do not need.

I'm sure everything will be fine and no drama will ensue as long as the user doesn't announce his ignore list.
I know anyone can ignore anyone for any reason, but fortunately no one knows who ignored who. I agree it should be private enough, but someone there can publish their ignore list regardless of the purpose.

I have less than 20 users on ignore list, maybe there will be more users as time goes on especially for those who ignore rules and keep repeating the same mistake.

Ignore works in for posts in threads but does not work in that ignored user's post history. You will see all posts of that ignored users at that page but why do we need to go to a post history page of an ignored user?

No, for the "unignore" option to come up you need to have put the user on ignore in the first place, even though it was done mistakenly.

You can give it a test run;

Ignoring is meant for trolls or spammers, you should not mind getting on their bad book.

That's how everyone sees the forum. If you click on ignore that's when you have ignored the user. Same way you click on merit to merit a user.

To know a user you have ignores, you will not be able to see their reply in threads or their signature. And they will have an "unignore" option.

You're not the only one who's wondering if I would be able to know who ignore me without asking them mate but as far as I know, it is not possible to find out who ignored you unless the forum member told you that you are in his ignore list. If it is possible to know then I think there would be a drama about it or you could say having enemies because of that. It is not really necessary to do so as it is up to the person if he/she will ignore you or not but using the ignore feature will help you know who are the shit posters kr spammer if most of the forum members in your list are like that.

Correct, I think ignore is better for personal conflict because the moderators will not delete those kind posts due to it posted by high rank users, the post is long, etc. Since the posts can't be deleted, the last option is ignore him.

Yeah, making the ignore list become public will cause many problem, similar like feedback and trust list can be view in public. Many people leave feedback and trust/distrust someone because of retaliation.

I too have been wondering how possible to know and see if someone put you on their ignore list without the person telling you or saying it.  Possibly, the forum administrator thought of it and decided to do away with it being public otherwise there would be series of confrontations here as to why one would be

I agree with OP, one wants to know about certain features out of curiosity and there is nothing wrong when someone asks questions like OP did. I don't know about others, but I personally don't use this feature and there aren't any users in my ignore list so far. I know that it's okay to add shit-posters in our ignore list, but I really don't care about those shit-posters and that's why I never add anyone in my ignore list. However, I truly appreciate the post because I also wanted to know about this feature, and it would be great to notify users if someone adds them into their ignore list.

The ignore list isn't public and that's a good thing, but it wont be a problem for many users if they got a notification message if someone ignored them. In fact such feature would be quite useful for the ones who were being ignore by a particular member, and those other users could end up improving themselves and their positing style.

I don't think I care to know who ignores me, it's their decision and so be it. For anyone to ignore me he might have a personal reason and I don't care asking why except maybe it affects me negatively somehow.

I remember ignorantly clicking the ignore option on one if the forum user at first when I was still very new to the forum,  each time I came across the very user I don't seem to see his posts available to my viewing, not until I discovered the unignored  option out of curiosity and clicked on it that was how I came to know the use of the ignore option. But I think it's useful as a way to avoid certain users you feel the need to.

You can only suspect people you know who also know your account name. They can ignore you but there is no way in this forum to check who has ignored you. It remains private for each users that no one else can see.
But you can see your personal ignore list to see how many people you have on your ignore list

Another thing that I think can affect who uses this type of feature is when it's used on users in local communities.

Before I do like using that ignore but when i noticed the disadvantages of using that ignore option I stopped ignoring people because one could missed out important update and information from those you are putting on ignore except someone quote on their post for you to know what they are saying concerning that thread and topics. Ignore is just silencing someone, if you will be able to silencing person and over look whatever they are saying then using the ignore may not be that useful again.

Possibly, constant reporting of ones account or post as you have said is likely a sign that you are likely on the ignore list of that reporter. Maybe they detest your post and would want to do everything possible to put you off but i think it is for your own good because it would make you to sit up by doing the right thing and also making valuable posts  and contributions. In all, you will have no knowledge of who is behind it all and that is amongst the numerous reasons why this platform is unique.

Using ignore option in bitcointalk forum will save you precious time, and it can help you avoid potential further conflicts with other members, so if you can't get along with someone better just ignore him.

I would even go step further to improve it and add super-ignore option to totally remove (from sight) some members and/or parts of the forum, but this is hard core for some people

That can probably be done from a user-script. It would stop me from clicking "Show" on Ignored users.

I'm not as extreme as some people when it comes to ignoring some users, but so far I've ignored the many 1xbit posters that fill the forums with their scam ads. I certainly also agree creating this ignore list can prevent conflicts with some users we don't like, and of course I have some of those users on my ignore list.

Using ignore option in bitcointalk forum will save you precious time, and it can help you avoid potential further conflicts with other members, so if you can't get along with someone better just ignore him.

Lauda called me Switzerland for being (too) neutral, but it doesn't help against trolls. A thick skin combined with the Ignore button works like a charm

At some point ignoring then is the only option one can take to protect themselves from the vile and trolls, sort of like taking a restraining order against a stalker.

You will not advice someone in that situation to consider accommodating the person they need to be protected from.

The ignore user option is the smartest and most useful feature to let a user who hates you completely tire himself out with his own efforts without you caring about it. Of course it is not our responsibility to change their mindset, so ignore it and they will stop without being asked. This is also a powerful feature to prevent you from feeding trolls multiple times.

Yes... ignoring is the best solution. But that doesn't mean I stop reading what he writes.
And you don't need to answer him, just know the right moment to present another point of view.

But, I understand that each case is different, and we have to know how to deal with it in the best possible way, to keep everything "healthy".

No, just don't mind it I guess, I mean that if we can see who ignored us that could to more problems since members might get revenge on you at some point right unless if it has the option you could make it private or public then with that you could decide if you want to show it or now but I guess its better this way just for privacy. I mean the forum is not perfect there are still a lot of conflicts from a lot of members here so that could just trigger more conflict in the future. Even though it wasn't like red tagging someone I guess it might still hurt someone if they know that they are on someone's ignore list.

This was just a preference of the members if they don't want to see your post they could ignore you I mean it wouldn't really affect you other members just prefer it that way so let's just respect that. Also, some members just use ignore list on spammers here in the forum, I guess if your high rank here like DTs there just so much going on so putting spammers on ignore list could lessen that.

Trust list is made public as you can know who trusts you and who distrusts you. We can agree that there are so much drama in the trust system which is why I have not started using it yet.
If ignore list is made public, there would be a bigger drama as everyone will end up being in one another's ignore lost.

I don't think I care to know who ignores me, it's their decision and so be it. For anyone to ignore me he might have a personal reason and I don't care asking why except maybe it affects me negatively somehow.

...But I think it's useful as a way to avoid certain users you feel the need to.

That's just me too! People should feel free to use the ignore button where they believe it can make them avoid altercations. It's better to ignore trolls or vexatious users than perpetually have to read their posts. This is why I'm of the opinion that no user should care about who ignores them or doesn't. Don't even bother to find out why they ignored you in the first place (if you ever find out) act like you don't know. That's the way I like to put it. Whether I'm ignoring any user or they're ignoring me, that's the way I treat it – Indifference.

One of the reasons I sometimes check posts from ignored users, is to know everything that's already been said in the topic. And in rare occasions, I might even unignore them.

Or, just maybe he doesn't know why he had to click the ignore option in the first place and that tickles him at times whenever he comes across the very user, LoL. Like a necessary evil he just can't do away with. Ignoring the container but can't resist the content.

If you ignore someone, you're doing so to ensure that you avoid seing anything that has to come from that user end, but now allowing him to see or know who ignored him will try to bring a kind of sentiment he may developed on that person because he will definitely developed a biased mind towards him, this will also keep the user always thinking of the possible offense he might have done to a particular person to have deserved being on his ignore list, i know some of us today will ever be happy if we turn out to see that one of the charming forum member that we secretly admires put us on his ignore list, that could actually make one get upset and revoke his take on same person as vise versa to his action for putting him on ignore, before you know it everyone will be having person disputs with each other as long as they are not their fan by putting them on ignore list.

There is one way, although it is not 100% reliable. It happened to me several times that I wrote a post in a topic that gave a direct answer to the question, it also received merits, and then a member who is not a classic shitposter appears and writes a post that is 80% identical in terms of what I wrote. This is a more than good indicator that that member has you on ignore, because if by any chance he had read your post, he would not have repeated everything you said.

Also, if you are considered an average poster with somewhat high-quality content and you have never received an answer or merit from a certain member, there is also a high probability that you are on his ignore list.

Yeah, that's it. I quit agreeing that this pattern can work 50% of the time. There is a case when some users made  wrong comments and two different users quoting the same replies, which possibly makes me assume that the user has ignored the other user.
But for me, I don't think putting any user on ignore is a very cool thing to do. If the user whom you want to ignore is a shitposter, then the best thing to do is just report the comment, as you have contributed to keeping the community clear of shitposts. But if I don't want to do it that way, I can just skip the post and go to the next one.

Funny situation. You just replied to a post written on January 18, 2023. Based on your logic, then all subsequent users who answered in this thread were simply ignored by you.
I understand that the need to meet the quota for a subscription company obliges discussion, but in this case, sheer hypocrisy.
