Well least they are upfront about it. I am more annoyed by casinos who are advertising "absolutely no kyc ever". That's a sign of unregulated casino and i don't feel comfortable to deal with them. So you are scammers, you do not want to pay the winnings. I will complain to the authority that issued your license.

Communication with support did not bring results. This casino is proud of its license. But if you use a casino that is trusted and has a very good reputation, it is unlikely that the identity data you provide via KYC will be sold or leaked.
It all depends on which casino we use.

Simplified, kamen1 had a dispute with Maverick, escalated it to their licensor, Isle of Man, and later on escalated it to Casino Guru too. Isle of Man ruled the case in favor of Maverick, and since Isle of Man had made their decision, Casino Guru respected their ruling and did not intervene with it.

Their case is still open on CG [less than 24 hours countdown when this post was made] as kamen1 is yet to confirm the statement that Isle of Man had made their ruling. Below is the snippet of the progress/decision made by CG

Entered the table late for a poker tournament that just ended but I only got a $1 prize for a good start although didn't play in the tournament I think I'll try the game tomorrow hopefully have a good tournament or at least find a good opponent for me playing poker, haven't played poker tournaments in a long time, hopefully this event will continue to be held by Maverick for a long time.
