So it looks like you can now do cross chain swaps within the wallet: https://t.me/unstoppable_announcements/383

They're simply using Thorchain just like some of the other wallet providers out there (Trustwallet, Ledger, OneKey, etc.)
I didn't test this new swapping feature with Unstoppable, but they are probably charging some additional fee for this service.
We could simply use Thorchain directly, but real gamechanger with Untoppable wallet should be addition of monero, that coin is not yet supported on Thorchain as far as I know.

PS
I love Unstoppable proposal for new EURO banknote  Cheesy

Another interesting update for Unstoppable wallet, they just added integrated NYM VPN inside wallet settings, and there is exclusive discount from the app.

https://www.talkimg.com/images/2025/07/18/UAItSw.jpeg
Another $10 discount on top of NYM's current early bird promos is great, but despite updating mine to the latest version [v0.43.2], the Nym VPN part is missing in the privacy section. Can you confirm this part is appearing on your side?

I did not see Nym VPN in the privacy section.

What does Nym VPN means? Will Tor not be better if it is privacy?

I noticed the sanctions list checker is no more available for non premium members. Are there people that will even want to make use of it? I can not be part of them.

Unstoppable wallet developers should add more to their list of local currencies.

I did not see Nym VPN in the privacy section.
If you're also an Android user, this confirms it's going to come in a future update [thank you for checking it out].

What does Nym VPN means? Will Tor not be better if it is privacy?
According to Google's AI Overview, "NYM is derived from the concept of a pseudonym", but I couldn't find anything about it on their website.
Concerning the latter part, the following blog posts explain each of their vulnerabilities:
- NymVPN v VPNs v Tor v I2P v dVPNs: How do they compare?
- See how NymVPN compares

I noticed the sanctions list checker is no more available for non premium members. Are there people that will even want to make use of it? I can not be part of them.
I prefer not to use such things since their accuracy heavily depends on matching sources between platforms.

A new update has been pushed a couple of days ago with UI redesign and most importantly, Monero support. Users can also connect to their own nodes. More features (for monero users) are coming soon: https://x.com/unstoppablebyhs/status/1957441352289165460

It also looks like the wallet has started to implement DEXes, bridges, Defi for earning, etc. so I would imagine that those things would help fund the project even further.

It is good they finally added support for Monero, but I think it is just basic support for now, and if I am not mistaken you can only use one monero address per account.
I also don't see monero is listed in their swap exchange service, and I they should certainly add it if they can.
There is no more syncing issues for most coins, including for monero.

Forgot to post about it but they implemented the following (a couple of weeks ago):

- View Monero keys in Wallet Manager
- Watch-only XMR wallets by View Key
- Add memos (local address labels)
- Incoming transactions now show “To” address
- Subaddresses
- Significantly faster sync speed
- New “trusted” parameter for Monero nodes*
- Only via trusted nodes, Unstoppable will display incoming pending transactions. All recommended nodes are trusted by default.

Also decentralized swapping using Maya protocol and Thorchain. I believe Monero is still not supported in that regard.

No it's not supported yet,but last thing I heard that someone is working on it, and Thorchain co-founder submitted a proposal for XMR integration for dex native swaps.
Atomic swaps already exist with Eigenwalle, and they should work much easier in both direction when FCMP++ gets implemented on mainnet.

I have just tried it, ZEC synching is very slow and frustrating on Unstoppable wallet. This may encourage altcoins pegged with ZEC price for the wallet users, and that is not good at all.

Secondly, if I were to open my ZCASH is another wallet other than Unstoppable, is it possible? Like, can I import my Zcash balance on nighthawkwallet or YWallet (which wallet is recommended?)
Yes, you can import your seed phrase on another wallet to have access to the coin. I do not know any wallet that I can recommend for the coin. Probably some posters in this thread may have some wallets that they can recommend.

I just enabled Zcash for the first time and I was able to sync it in less than five minutes [if you already have a fast internet, I'd suggest trying it with a VPN connection].
- Yes, you need to keep it open for it to continue the syncing process.

Like, can I import my Zcash balance on nighthawkwallet or YWallet (which wallet is recommended?)
Considering that this is the first time I'm reading about these two wallets, I can't recommend any of them, but if you created a wallet with a 24-word seed phrase on Unstoppable, you can import it to Nighthawk (YWallet seemed to be buggy on my end).
Note: The syncing process on Nighthawk appears to be way slower (after five minutes, I'm at 0.25%)!

I was going to suggest Coinomi, but i just noticed that ZCash is not working in coinomi anymore (like XMR, I believe they just dropped support to privacy coins).

Anyway, good hardware wallets such as Ledger Nano and Trezor support Zcash.

Anyway, good hardware wallets such as Ledger Nano and Trezor support Zcash.
I wouldn't call a Ledger "good": they upload seed phrases. But that brings me to my problem: I still have a Ledger (from before they proudly announced they broadcast seed phrases), on which I received an Ethereum donation. I want to use it to pay for hosting, but Ledger Live tells me to update my firmware, which I don't want to do because of the link above. I tried myetherwallet[dot]com, but it tells me to enable "Blind Signing". A quick search tells me that means I don't have to confirm anything on the hardware wallet's screen, and the web wallet can just do whatever it wants. I honestly don't understand why anyone would want that, or why a hardware wallet would even implement it. It's the one reason to use a hardware wallet: confirm everything on it's own screen.
At the risk of going off-topic, but not daring to join the spam on the altcoin board, I'll post it here: any idea how to securely sign this transaction? Unstoppable wallet doesn't support hardware wallets, and my only other experience is with Electrum for Bitcoin. How do I rid of Eth from a Ledger hardware wallet?

Most users on this forum discourage people to use Ledger now because its secure element is close source, the wallet developers do not care about their users privacy, and it encourags seed phrase to be sent to companies online. Coinomi also is a close source, but if he is not able to use any other open source wallet, it could be his last resort. I have just downloaded Trust wallet again and searched for ZEC, the wallet supports it but it is also a close source wallet and which I can not recommend.

You probably own an old ledger model.

As your screen is very small and the device is old, you need to enable blind sign. New Ledger models wont need to enable blind sign, they will show all transaction details. You just use blind because your device is old.

Also, as your device is old, you can safely update your firmware as it doesn't support that seed online feature.  Actually,  using an updated firmware is safer .

Also, support says that updating firmware may even allow you to complete transactions without blind sign

Yep, it's the Nano S.

Even Bitcoin addresses don't fit the screen, but I can scroll through them to verify. I don't see why an Ethereum transaction wouldn't be able to show the address. I don't need smart contracts, just a regular transaction. From your link:
Quote
Enabling blind signing is an advanced feature that is only required for signing transactions involving smart contracts (e.g. swapping tokens via a decentralized exchange).
The fact that Myetherwallet asks for access it's not supposed to need makes me doubt it even more.

Also, as your device is old, you can safely update your firmware as it doesn't support that seed online feature.
I'm still hoping the hardware isn't compromised and (physically) doesn't allow seed phrase extraction, but I can't be sure about this.

Quote
Actually,  using an updated firmware is safer .
I'm not so sure about that.

This sounds like a terrible, TERRIBLE idea:
Quote
When you enable blind signing, you enable your signer to approve a smart contract transaction, even though it hasn’t been able to display full contract data to you. In other words, you’re agreeing to trust, instead of verify, the transaction.

If this sounds like more of a risk, that’s because it is. Blind signing by definition lacks vital transparency – but with the dApp and DeFi ecosystem expanding so rapidly, it’s a process that sometimes cannot be avoided.

In these cases, you are the gatekeeper for your crypto: that means doing some due diligence to ensure things check out before you sign.
So you'll basically have to TRUST that the website or app you're using isn't going to take all your funds. That's like giving your bank account details to a stranger, hoping he won't take drain your account.

I found another option: Myetherwallet offline signing. It's going to be a lot of work to extract my private keys and figure out how to do this, which is very annoying as one of the main reasons to buy a hardware wallet is to be able to conveniently sign transactions in a safe environment. Face palm!

I agree this blind sign is terrible  but this is how old devices are working with complex smartcontracts....

But  You only have ETH, right? No need to use any smartcontract for that.

No need for blind sign.

You can just install metamask (if ledger live is not working) and try to send the ETH from metamask. Metamask works very well with ledger nano (I use it a lot for eth and tokens).

Maybe you will need to update your firmware for metamask to recognize your device...

But certainly there is not need for blind signing to send eth.

You wont be able to use the latest versions of electrum with a ledger nano with  old firmware too....
Unless you use an old electrum version as well.

You can try with an old version of metamask. It  may work

If you are interacting with questionable devices, then are you working to transfer to some device that is more comfortable?  Of course, shitcoins will tend to have more ways that you end up having to rely upon closed source and therefore questionable third party involvement, so then if there is some other way to either move the value and/or to use that seed in some other device and then move the value upon getting access to the coins.. for these one time transactions into some place that you have more confidence.

For sure, some of us feel that we are even less technically astute and then trying to figure out which sources we might be able to trust based on the discussions of others - and maybe sometimes we end up relying on wrong information.. so then yeah, how much value to keep in various shitcoins whether it is potentially to use them for some purpose, if the purpose is not trading them?  I do admit to holding a few shitcoins, but I largely don't do anything with them, yet I still sometimes have difficulties figuring out where and how to store them and potentially compromising myself in the process, but if it might ONLY be less than 1% of my total portfolio value (referring to bitcoin) then maybe it is not as BIG of a deal - not that any of us want to lose money - especially if we suspect that there might be some malicious actors involved in potentially separating us from our coins  (even if they have relatively small value).

Anyhow.. it looks like you guys have got this worked out.. to the extent that you are dabbling with shitcoins and wasting your time, energy and money in those endeavors, even though sure, I might concede that arguably there could be some value in playing around with some of that and personally experiencing (witnessing) some of the happenings with various other ways that shitcoins and shitcoin services interact (work to scam people out of their value - with a potential end goal of taking your bitcoin..  or converting their shitcoin and shitcoin-related products, while they still have some semblance of possible value, into king daddy bitcoin ...hahahahaha)

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k
