On unstoppable wallet?

Is it possible to use passphrase on unstoppable wallet? How did you do that?
I've been using that wallet as my hot wallet lately but I have a problem.

I can't find how to use passphrase or did I missed something?
Also the wallet behaved abnormal whenever I want to send Bitcoin to an exchange or another address.

It keeps checking up my balance, loading in that same sense like it can't connect and detect my actual balance.
Anyone have same issue?

First of all you cannot directly add a passphrase just like to an existing seed phrase what you to do is to make sure you have a back up of that seed phrase and then you remove that wallet from the unstoppable wallet and then try importing that wallet back into your unstoppable wallet this time around you go through the “advance option” and toggle the passphrase button on and then write your seed phrase and also add your passphrase.

But you need to understand that this wallet is totally different from your old wallet without seed phrase and as such you would need to send everything out from that first wallet (seed phrase without passphrase) to the new one.

As for the second question, you should try changing network because it’s seems it’s synchronization problem, you should head to settings, then to blockchain network then to bitcoin and you will see the available servers then you change and allow the wallet sync to see your balance.

If this doesn’t work out, try to delete the wallet and re import it back again to properly help build back the UTXOs

This is an interesting development. OmegaStarScream and me were talking about Duress Mode and the premium features just last month. Unstoppable Wallet made it free for F-Droid users but charged Play Store users a premium fee. Now they treat everyone equally. Could it be that they are following the discussion in this thread and decided to make that change in the newest release? Possibly. Whatever the reason, it's the right decision. Good choice Unstoppable.

Anyone here having difficult time syncing their wallet, the stablecoins prices more than anything else? Although their value is known, the main problem with this is that they never add up to the "total holdings" on top of the wallet, because they return N/A.
A new feature to keep an eye on is private swap feature (powered by NEAR intents)[1].

Unstoppable Wallet appears to be a promising open-source, non-custodial option for managing multiple assets within a single wallet. It offers privacy and flexibility features like being Tor enabled, Wallet Connect and not having to create accounts.

Unstoppable wallet supports multiple coins including Bitcoin but personally I never use a multiple coin wallet for storing my bitcoin together with altcoins.

With me, Bitcoin is most valuable and I never want to lose my bitcoin because of unnecessary curiosity or carelessness, therefore I only use a wallet to store only bitcoin. With altcoins, I store them in other wallets for altcoins only.

Keep this principle of separating your cryptocurrency fund to different wallets for bitcoin-only and multiple altcoins. You will not have fear of what will happen if a multiple altcoin wallet get hacked, only altcoins will be lost.

Unstoppable Wallet is also introducing CrossPay. It allows you to send someone a cryptocurrency they want even if you don't own that coin and have other assets in your balance. For example, the receiver wants USDT but you only have BTC. You will need to select the coin the receiver wants, the address, and enter the amount. CrossPay will convert your coins in the background and show you how much you will need to spend. There will no longer be a need to swap Coin A to Coin B manually to acquire the asset the receiver wants. It will be automatically handled by CrossPay.

If the fees aren't too high and the coin selection isn't very limited, this might become a very useful feature.

Ever since they made "this post on X", I stopped using their wallet, but the above upcoming features and showing indirect routes for unsupported direct swaps ^[source] are somewhat tempting ^{[referring to small amounts of altcoin that I hold]}.

Synchronization issues continue to be a problem for users of Unstoppable Wallet. It's better than it was in the beginning, but as we have seen in recent comments in this thread, users still experience them sometimes. Unstoppable Wallet announced that the sync speed will get 10-15 times better with a new upgrade scheduled for this week. Those who use the wallet could perhaps notice a big improvement in syncing times soon.

Let's hope so because it's becoming very annoying, and it's not just the ability to send or seeing the balances, even the prices like I have mentioned on a previous post doesn't seem to be functioning properly.
Regarding the Robbery protection/duress mode, has anyone tried using it since they made it available for free on the app store? I'm not sure if I'm missing something but it does not seem to work? I did setup the new PIN, but both the robbery protection as well as the original PIN seem to be opening and showing the same thing?

I am sure they don't believe it but they would like their users to believe it.

It works. I just tried it.

If you don't have PIN protection enabled in your wallet, Unstoppable will first ask you to create a PIN. After that, you enable duress mode and select which of your wallets you want the software to display when in duress mode. Since I only have one test wallet, I didn't select any and configured duress mode without loading any wallets. When I entered my duress mode PIN and tried it at startup, it loaded like it was the first time I opened Unstoppable Wallet. There is no wallet shown and it's asking me to create a new one. When I restart the app and enter my regular PIN, it loads my test wallet.

If you have multiple wallets, you just need to configure which one(s) you want to show in duress mode.

The latest release for Unstoppable Wallet ^{for Android}, namely version 0.52, allows to send coins privately. It also introduces new option ^{called CrossPay}, where someone pays with one coin and the other person receives the different one. And, as always, there is a bunch of crash-related fixes associated with this wallet.

I'm writing to report an issue I encountered while trying to restore my unstoppable wallet. Mind you, this is the second time this has happened to me. The first time, I assume the fault was on my end and that I might have entered the wrong seed phrase, so I let it slide.

I was using Coinomi wallet to receive my signature campaign payments, but for some reason I decided to switch back to unstoppable wallet. Yesterday, I received my signature campaign payment and I tried to withdraw it but the transaction would not go through, I also tried swapping the coin but that didn't work either so I left it and slept off.

Today, I tried again but the same thing happened, I then decided to unlinked the wallet and restore it back. I imported my wallet using the recovery phrase I had written down, Note that before unlinking the wallet I went to the recovery phrase  section and clicked on display to review my seed phrase and then took a screenshot of it using one of my iPhones.

The import process appeared to be successful, but I noticed that the wallet address was different and the balance was no longer showing. So what should I do now?

Are you sure that the derivation path or simply the address type wasn’t changed, because you know while importing your seed phrase into the wallet it asks for which address type and bc1q is native Segwit or rather Bip84. If the address doesn’t start with this prefixes then there is something wrong.

But if there is a new address which starts with same prefixes as the old address then probably you might have added passphrase while creating the wallet and you didn’t use the passphrase to recover this wallet. If this is where the problem is coming from then while importing your seed phrase you should toggle to advance option to be able to add a passphrase.

I'm not new to using a wallet, remember I mentioned earlier that this is not my first time using unstoppable wallet. I have used it before, so I'm familiar with how it works. I didn't bother adding too many security settings I'm only using it to receive my signature campaign payments, not to hold Bitcoin for the long term, that's why I didn't add a passphrase. Remember, I also mentioned that this is the second time this has happened to me, I believe there must be something wrong with the recovery process, the wallet sectings or the wallet drivation path.
