Agree with you. Unfortunately, the said winner on this topic does have a sh*tty relative where in fact, it's clear that the winner really trusts this relative but still do some sh*t. It's not that we should generalize that the same thing might happen to others but it's a case-to-case basis.

Being closed to each other is not an excuse to steal  money from your relatives or friends.  The victim askes the suspect because the victim trusted the suspect very much which in return the trust was paid by betrayal.  The suspect run away with the money so the suspect screw the trust of his relatives  and should be punished to teach the suspect that it is wrong to steal other people's money.
