Hello everyone, I am an upcoming backend developer with the zeal of solving the world's biggest problems. Many weeks ago someone sent me a link about this place that I could easily learn how to buy Bitcoin and keep it safe. I was very happy but I noticed that I have no one to talk to because it looks more like big community than what I was expecting to see. I thought I could easily come here anytime and find someone to teach me how to go about it. I was told I could only learn by reading good posts of other members.
I am not in a haste since my learning is going to be consistent as I keep coming here. I am happy to be here but how can I find able person that will guide me through my stay here.
I want to learn all about the Bitcoin network so that I can also reciprocate to my friends too. I want to learn as fast as possible so I can easily share my knowledge to my colleagues and family. I never knew Bitcoin has a community as big as this and I am ready to make my contributions as I grow in knowledge.
How do I commence my learning in the most subtle way? Is there addictional materials available? Like link, videos, PDF Any outlines of those important topics to learn about Bitcoin and it's network?
Thank you community for your replies.

I was very happy but I noticed that I have no one to talk to because it looks more like big community than what I was expecting to see. Feel free to ask questions and learn from boards discussions but what you will first do is to give yourself a definition of what you desire to achieve while on the forum to serves as your milestones and work towards it, make use of the forum search button to enquire for relatively interesting aspects you may wish to learn about and read the forum's rules and regulations. I am not in a haste since my learning is going to be consistent as I keep coming here. Yes you need to stay online and get active on the forum to ensure you're on a learning ground, this will easily helps you in getting used to the whole forum's standard and the bitcoin network you have soughted after. You have come to the forum. I found a section for beginners; guess what you should do next if you can at least read it? Why not click on links whose questions are very similar to yours? Of course, they come here with less ambition, like you, wanting to solve the world's problems but not able to just start reading. Pretty self-confident topic title. Consider how much information is available, and how quickly you want someone to take you by the hand. Be an adult.

I am happy to be here but how can I find able person that will guide me through my stay here.
This is a bad approach. If you look for a person to help you, you can easily stumble on persons that want to scam you or who may (willingly or unwillingly) mislead you. Since you are an upcoming backend developer you may assimilate more info from pages like https://learnmeabitcoin.com/ or https://electrum.readthedocs.io/ than from watching YouTube movies. (Same goes to private messages: scammers can pretend to help you privately; avoid.) The questions are best to be asked publicly. See below. How do I commence my learning in the most subtle way? Is there addictional materials available? Like link, videos, PDF
The best is imho to read a little from reputable sources. I'd start with bitcoin whitepaper: https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper (if you're from UK, just ask for a different source) Then I'd go to through Mastering Bitcoin, which is free here: https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbookAfterwards, the links I've started with can be of help too. When you have some reading done, you can start asking. People here will be more than happy to help you, as long as you don't ask things already asked 100s of times. The search feature of the forum can be of help too, or maybe https://ninjastic.space/search would make it even easier. Make sure you make your topics when asking questions instead of hijacking others' topics. Enjoy the ride!

If you don't want to be misled, no further response is required. Most of the guys on this forum are unfriendly and don't trust anyone. If you do not want to be a victim of a scam. Learn from the resources he has provided for you, and then ask questions about anything you don't understand.

Welcome to the forum OP, if you want to learn about Bitcoin from the start you need to study what is Bitcoin and ask yourself why you are going to buy it. But before that you must explore the community. first read the community guidelines and thier rules and regulations and follow in order to avoid such mistakes. Then after wards searching and asking is a very good practice as this is a open forum you can freely ask but before you ask make sure you will do a research first.

Learning in the forum is easy, because it doesn't require anything to get started, all that is needed is paying attention to the forum guild, and adhering to the rules and regulations of the forum.Another thing is learning by reading other people's comments on posts and trying to make your own quality posts. If you always read people posts, when ever you want to make your own,it will be much more easier and simple.

All it takes is for you to spend as much time as possible here on the forum. Over time, you will find what suits your inclinations and knowledge, because the forum contains various sections. It would be good if you did not forget to review the forum rules and the various systems (trust,merit..) that regulate various activities here. The most important links that are useful to you as a beginner are mentioned in the previous comments. I advise you not to neglect to see them.

Thank you community for your replies.
Since you are a developer reading on Development and Technical Discussion post will help you fully understand the technology behind Bitcoin. In regards with some material that will help you, I suggest visiting udemy and avail online courses about Bitcoin technical development will guide you on basics to advance knowledge so that you can catch up easily on discussion here instead of reading topics here from scratch if you want a quick learning.

I find reading topics here from scratch a faster and more efficient way to learn and understand how bitcoin works than going through several hours of courses on udemy or other platforms. Information gotten from here can also be considered to be more credible if you know how to discern what members to learn from. Op would be better off learning how to use the search option [1] and find any topic of interest to them. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276341.0- Jay -

Welcome to the forum, you've got some great suggestions for getting started on the forum. just like you go to a school, of course, you will be informed about the school rules so you can study comfortably without violating the rules which of course can get you punished. How do I commence my learning in the most subtle way?
I believe you should read more on forums. And if you're having trouble finding topics, I think you saw a forum search box that you can use. I'm sure it will be too broad for you, but if you take the time to read through it, you'll gain some decent knowledge. I hope you will stay on the forum for a long time.

You can also start asking your local (we have a dedicated board for that). And I advice you to do not to forget to read the articles mentioned above in this post. Welcome & good luck!

Some really bold statements, but when you claim yourself an upcoming backend developer you should act like a smart person. Instead you ask for a hand to help you learn about bitcoin and blockchain. You can use the forum search option for any questions, but you are asking someone to help you to guide you. There will be a lot of PMs in your inbox if you continue searching for help, just be careful about it.

Welcome to the best Bitcoin forum, where you can learn everything there is to know about Bitcoin and where you can get all the latest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency updates. The forum has some governed rules and regulations guiding the forum activities, which is the main reason why the forum maintains its reputation; therefore, read and abide by the forum rules and Regulations, and avoid plagiarism.
Everyone in this forum can help you with any issue you have here; just post your question for more clarification, and many forum users are eager to assist. How do I commence my learning in the most subtle way? Is there addictional materials available? Like link, videos, PDF Any outlines of those important topics to learn about Bitcoin and it's network?
Thank you community for your replies.
I will recommend learnmeabitcoin.com for basic knowledge about Blockchain, key and address as well as general knowledge about Bitcoin.
