I don't encourage the idea of getting old people involved in the use of bitcoin especially older people adoption of bitcoin should be discouraged for the love of their peace of mind. There's a particular way these older people reason. The way a young person will face a situation of a loss of money due to the crypto market system is quite different from how an older person would take it in, mind you most of these old people are retirees, and money shouldn't come in between them and their health. As a little scam due to their vulnerability to scammers my leading to thinking and health complications.

Old human beings are the first to emerge as inclined to scams if adoptions comes around, and I suppose like crypto is a spectacular way for these guys to get screwed.

I don't be conscious of how this is going to work out for old human beings who cannot even know private/public keys let on my very own hot/cold wallets.
Your pattern of laying emphasis by means of repetition on the grouping as per "old human beings" almost leaves me with the impression that, they were of a different specie other than humans. Of course that would be inaccurate but, I still feel there is a world for the old even I a fully crypto functional society.
As oppose to what you've stated with the old being victims of crypto scam; this is often the case due to ignorance. A fully crypto innovative system would mean more awareness for the young and old which reduce crypto scam to a minimum and the technology about payments would be made simpler and easy to operate. It's already easy as it is but, people are yet to grasp due to lack of exposure.

If older individuals don't look up many investment options online and only use Bitcoin for personal savings or money transfers to family members, they won't ever be defrauded.
I think that because they are the ones that constantly investigate and test out all those investment possibilities that promise enormous returns, young people are more likely to be scammed. My grandfather invests in the stock market. Due to his extreme caution and commitment to his investing tenets, it is difficult to persuade him to dedicate funds to cryptocurrency. Older individuals rarely risk their money on things they don't fully grasp unless they are persuaded to do so by someone they have complete faith in.

Unfortunately, this is true. The most potential victims for the new systems will be either the elderly, or absolute beginners who have just recently decided to get acquainted with the world of cryptocurrencies. I draw parallels now with the Internet and bank cards. In these spheres older people get cheated very often, because for them such technologies are a kind of discovery and they do not know all the nuances. Even experienced crypto users sometimes get caught in a trivial phishing or some similar scam attack.

About the questions answered, I am very curious about how many scam cases at El Salvador after their country adopted bitcoin as a legal currency. This will answer some doubts, will also allow other countries and their users to find the best solution in order to minimize the number of incidents of scam and attempted scam.

I believe that there are complex thinks between the age groups of cryptocurrency users, especially those who are elderly. But As long as the adopting country does not abolish fiat and replace it with bitcoin or specific cryptocurrency, then bitcoin is the alternative [not the main currency].

Yes, it would be interesting to see such statistics, but something tells me that we will never see them. According to the statistics we have, only young people in El Salvador are interested in bitcoin, and most of the older population is skeptical about bitcoin and does not want anything to do with it, they do not trust bitcoin and consider it unnecessary for mutual settlements inside the country. So with this level of skepticism, it is unlikely that many older people in this country have fallen victim to bitcoin fraud.

If an old man has been using cryptocurrency since he was young, I have no doubt that he will be able to do so in his old age, especially if he understands the value of his private key and the Bitcoin he already has in his wallet.
Age can hinder people from adopting Bitcoin to some extent, but once they do, they can continue using it until they can no longer understand it. Age is not suppose to be a barrier for using Bitcoin.

In my country it's impossible. People don't have that education, most of the older people don't own a computer and don't have any knowledge that bitcoin exists at all. Quite a backward country.

When adoption comes, the ols people will find a way to also adapt to the new adoption. The old people have been in existance and are surviving before the existance of modern technologies, and there are still many old people who dont have access to modern technologies and they are adapting to any environment they are. In Nigeria today, the old people who dont have any electronic device like mobile phones are still copping with the cashles policy.
So i believe that in adoption of crypto across the country, old people will adapt a surviving strategy.

They cannot adapt easily to the new technology introduce to them if no people will teach them about how to use bitcoin properly. Also they need to know how risky it is since using it could be bad for them since they can be deceived by scammers telling that they can multiply their money if they invest to the scammers platform, this is why aside for teaching those old people how to use it its important that we have proper crypto education to avoid those unfortunate incident.

Everyone has their own way of adopting anything from the development of the modern era and even no exception to adopting bitcoin, but for parents whose age range is over 70 years it will be for them to understand something new, maybe the age range of parents is 50-60 years we still have the intellect to understand something new even though we have to explain it many times, but because there are so many electronic money transactions nowadays it will help parents to understand the basics of crypto transactions too.

Ohoho, it's going to be a big challenge for the crypto adoption to be accepted by boomers. Even the great Warren Buffet is still nonchalant about this. Not many old people can accept that the world is changing. because that means they need to learn and adapt again, and it takes great effort to do that. However, there's always a group of old people who still have a young spirit, are adaptable, and have high curiosity. If they have a strong will, they can also utilize the technology. They just need to increase their technological literacy and familiarity with financial systems. As crypto enthusiasts, then it would be our task to help those who want to learn by preparing the easiest way for them to do so. Don't forget to include all the basic fundamentals (including basic digital literacy skills, as well as more targeted information on how to securely store and manage cryptocurrency assets, the potential risks and vulnerabilities that older individuals may face when using cryptocurrency, such as scams or fraud, and so on).

I don't be conscious of how this is going to work out for old human beings who cannot even know private/public keys let on my very own hot/cold wallets.
I just don't understand why are you referring to the old human being as the idiot and illiterate one.  Because not every old human being is an idiot. They are not newborn babies they have spent a life and are near to an end. I t doesn't mean, they have no intelligence to understand what are digital wallets (hot and cold) and what are private keys and public keys.

If you could teach them in a good manner then there is no chance that they will not understand the concept. They might disagree with this technology and could say this technology is not good etc. But they will understand blockchain technology and how it works in general.

I agree with you about most of the old human beings gets fall prey to scams and in frustration, they do not accept them. The reason is simple, they do not learn before usage, and they need someone to teach them if they are not YouTube learners.

Here is a thread in which one's uncle took a loan to invest in crypto, your question could be backed up with this topic. Taking loan for investment can be life threatening

Old people make these types of mistakes and then their offsprings have to face consequences. If there is the mainstream adoption of BTC is going to happen then a complete guide is necessary for kids to old men.

your opinion is correct, parents who still don't know and understand about this modern technology will definitely be vulnerable to being deceived easily if they participate in investing in bitcoin.
but on the other hand the adoption of bitcoin is still continuing, so let time tell.

<snip>
Old people can use bitcoin just like how we use it. Unless they do not know how to operate a device, then they aren't capable of doing it. Because of that, they will be needing help from other people who are knowledgeable with it... Could be anyone (their son, grandchildren, neighbor, etc.) whom they trust. But if there's no one to help them, then they won't be able to use it.

I don't think old people really have any use for money to be spending it any how like a millennial, and with crypto being irreversible I don't think this is a good idea as they are more likely to be scammed or might send coins to the wrong user.

Old human beings are the first to emerge as inclined to scams if adoptions comes around, and I suppose like crypto is a spectacular way for these guys to get screwed.
Agreed, which makes it hard to make it a platform for the senior citizens.

I don't be conscious of how this is going to work out for old human beings who cannot even know private/public keys let on my very own hot/cold wallets.
Crypto is more for the millennial and to safe guard the money for the senior citizens best not to allow them to use it unless they know the risk involved.

As with any new technology, there will likely be a learning curve for older individuals who are not familiar with cryptocurrencies. However, if adoption of cryptocurrencies continues to increase, it's possible that we will see more user-friendly systems and tools that are designed specifically for older individuals.

For example, some companies are already working on developing simplified cryptocurrency wallets and other tools that are designed to be more accessible for older individuals and those who are not tech-savvy. These tools may incorporate features like voice commands or simplified interfaces that make it easier for users to navigate and understand.

Additionally, there may be educational programs or resources available to help older individuals learn about cryptocurrencies and how to use them safely. This could include workshops, tutorials, or online courses that are tailored to the needs of older learners.

Of course, there will always be risks associated with using cryptocurrencies, and it's important for individuals of all ages to take steps to protect their investments and avoid scams. But as the technology continues to evolve and become more widely adopted, we may see more options and resources available to make it easier for older individuals to participate in the cryptocurrency market

<snip>
Everything can be learned if taught thoroughly but if those people doesn't want to learn about it then we can't do anything about it. But that's not the case if more people will have to adopt Bitcoin then those people will be the older people in the future that knew about cryptocurrency/Bitcoin.

To OP, older people doesn't use much fiat or crypto currency in the future when all they will be doing is living their lives to the fullest. It's not a problem if they don't adopt to Bitcoin we'll have more new generation coming to learn and adopt Bitcoin in the future.

And it is the old people who hinder the adoption of Bitcoin, because they are reluctant to use this technology which they think is inefficient and cumbersome. They prefer to use platforms like Paypal, Visa, or other conventional payment platforms compared to using Bitcoin, and that is a fact. They think that these Bitcoins are fraudulent and not real, so most of them avoid using them.
