I think the defi space is still a big swimming pool with lots of promising potential for the future.  I have faith in one of those defi coins which is SOV and I believe in the sustainability of the project in the long term, hopefully the free market will decide to accept it more when future bitcoin becomes scarce.  Rarely, nobody sells them when bitcoin can be used as collateral for a loan and is fully decentralized.  The current price is too cheap for what it has high reception.

We don't know which coin will go up in price a few years from now. Does anybody expect for the price of BNB to shoot up that high after they created Binance Smart Chain? Do we expect FTX to be a fraud exchange until it happened? The point is, those altcoins that you're seeing right now might go up in price in the future, but at the same time, there is a chance that it will not.

The good thing though is that, we have seen the worst already. We've seen markets going down. We've seen crypto coins going down really hard and currently, we are in the phase where accumulation is happening thus, the market is slowly going up. I will not say a specific altcoin to you, but I guess it's safe to say if you will just pick in the top 50 coins in terms of market cap. There is still a risk on it, but lower compare to those new projects out there.

Cronos by Crypto.com might be a good idea. It became cheaper after it fell down so it's a good opportunity to buy. It's a big company so I guess worrying about their reputation will not be a problem at all.
Ethereum might be expensive but it will not be gone from my list to be bought whenever I have the spare.
BNB too. As its usage will be nonstop in their exchange there is always a chance for growth, and their chain seems to be growing with NFTs using it for cheaper transaction fees.

But maybe you can look at the coins under $1 and analyze them one by one to find them but it won't be easy because, from the top 100 list, you will have a list of over 20 cheap coins. I'd agree with BNB being a promising token especially due to the anticipated release of their launchpad. If we would track the past, their previous launchpad release yield to a rally with the market price which made its value way bigger than it was. Also, it is an exchanger token making its market value sustainable to hold for a long period of time. Not to mention that Binance has a good reputation especially because of what happened with an exchanger late last year. During bullish trend, BNB is one of the tokens who is able to ollow and be influenced by the uprise in market prices which is for me a good indicator if you are looking for alternative tokens. I'm not sure LTC will grow well after halving. I guess it is possible if there is a bull run in the cryptocurrency market. It will be very difficult for LTC to grow on its own. Investing into any cryptocurency project just because of the numbers of holders of the tokens is a wrong criteria to use in chosing a project to invest into. Firstly if you're investing in a coin that has many holders it might be already late to make big profits because it means the altcoins is already popular and the early investors has made the biggest share of the profit.
Secondly altcoins holders can be manipulated, there's no way to verify that one person doesn't have more than one address holding their tokens or the project owners didn't just do an airdrop to distribute the tokens to thousands of account as a form of marketing or to deceive investors for it to look like there are many investors interested in their projects and are holding.
Apart from cardano I have the other project you mentioned in my watch list as I'm also observing them and waiting for me to get a signal that the market wouldn't fall further for me to buy them. Holding ripple was only worthy for someone who had a bunch of money. Investing pennies on ripple will worth nothing as it requires bitcoin to double its price before ripple will be mooning. Im also aware about this problem too.
Ripple's case against SEC has been dropped off and i think that this is also a good time to accumulate ripple only for those who are willing to hold their coin for long term. It's not profitable for the small investors but ripple may able to give guarantee return only for the big chunks of holders.

I think matic is good, its been stagnant ever since, but we all know that other than ethereum, most projects are being deployed in matic blockchain which simply means that it got so many potential.

ETH is not cheap and I think you don't know the XRP case has been resolved and XRP won it. This already gave XRP a good impression in the market. Another thing that is noticeable for XRP is that its circulating supply is controlled by the team. The internal team of XRP still holds a large number of coin and they are very careful about releasing these coins to the market. By becoming ISO 20022 compliant XRP opens its pathway for big institutions that want to develop their own payment networks to use the XRP network as their base of operation. So, the market might even come down a little bit from this point, giving buyers another opportunity to fill their bags.

Not everyone is made for this world and this means you need a lot more partners in your business. Like for example imagine a great developer, he is capable of building the most awesome blockchain ever, and put a token on it that would be amazing, or more like coin, and think of a graphic designers that can create amazing visuals, could do things that not even AI could imagine.

However, if these people do not have any community outreach, then they will build something at home and then turn off the pc. from my experience doing thing this way is like catching falling knives, we never know where the bottom is at and when it does indeed still going down, well too bad thats gonna be huge of a dump that might eat our capital.
but yeah it sometimes work, just wait until its trying to break some resistance then we can invest when it dumps a litlte bit.
always remember that the market sometime become so unexpected, i think there's no sure way to know whether an altcoin gonna go up and go down, but one thing for sure if the coin is good enough fundamentally and backed by some serious venture capital out there i think the coin will just gonna be turning out great anyway.

The altcoin you mentioned is indeed a potential altcoin at the top of the coin market cap, so it is indeed worth investing in, but only new altcoins can provide profits of up to thousands of percent for the next bullish season, for new altcoins I don't think it is suitable to invest in total remembering the risks. I am not sure how and why you pick those altcoin from the same category, but the most effective way is to diversify your portfolio with different type of altcoin so that if one category get most of the attention it will make sure you have at least one project from that category. There are various narratives in the crypto industry these days like DePin, Ai, Distributed computing, Storage, DeSo, web3 gaming and many more. All of them won't make 100X rally but all of them have the potential to do so.

Just a friendly advice, never have high hopes in altcoins as they may be good for trading or short term investment but not for long term investment as you are already aware that they are so volatile and they can make or break your portfolio anytime. I would suggest Bitcoin is there for long term but yeah you need to have multiple options with proper grouping like a certain altcoins for daily trade especially those which fluctuates between 1% to 3% on daily basis and then some for short term investments (These should be the ones which has hit rock bottom and started rising back). I have had not so pleasant experience with Altcoin hence requesting to DYOR and be upto date with market insights especially about the coins you have invested into do that you can take appropriate decisions at the right time when it matters the most.

Of course it's bear season. The long-term impact means this 99% drop could be a treasure trove of opportunities in the future. A lot of history has been experienced in the past of the crypto world. Coins that have blockchain have dominant new ATHs in the upcoming bull season, founders always have the desire to secure assets from being subject to liquidation

and I consider these coins that are supported by the kind of binance labs, coinbase and so on to be below one billion market capitalization is still cheap enough, and DYM and JUP still upcoming and to be listed, aside from the airdrop i guess i will try to buy if the price suddenly dumps since they are quite promising coins.
don't try to buy coin that are old coin like some people recommended because they have harder time pumping, people have abandoned them, except bitcoin and ethereum its the trend setter.

Varsity and XRP could not do much price correction in this market but these two coins can do a lot of price correction in my view after Bitcoin halving. I have bought Ethereum for four different wallet for about two months plus the growth was very very slow so I decided to convert one my exchange Ethereum that I bought to Bitcoin and to see the differences guys there is very big different. I convert it with the Ethereum value was equal to $10.85 and I convert it, it was about 0.00015 in Bitcoin and Bitcoin was $66+k and when Bitcoin climbed to $71,799 and when I sold it it came out as $13.30 or there about though the exchange didn't show the dollar value and only on the local currency.

And the $10 was there in the Ethereum for months without changed and it only Change within 4 days of my converting. So I will not advise to invest in Ethereum for now until the congestion has reduced. And if you are looking for a promising altcoins to invest then try Eloncoin.

Now all of these altcoins are become expensive but i think some top altcoins are still worth for investment. Eth, matic even ada have a lot of space to increase more. Eth is expensive already But if ETFs get approved for Eth, then it'll fly like Bitcoin. And Maybe some others cheap altcoins also available like JUP, ARB but these could be more vulnerable and volatile.
