actually it should be $20 - but €20 is not bad either. whether dollar or euro, the most important thing is that the rebuy issue is fixed and we will have a lot of fun at the tournament on this sunday

I just take a look at the tournament lobby and all the users have 8k chips now, looks like the 16k chips issue gets fixed now.

But in the Re-Buy description, it say:

Rebuy (8000 chips for €0 + €0) available until the end of the tournament.

So, not sure if users will be able to re-buy or if that would be fixed too.

And I created a thread in the Spanish local board, I hope to see some users from there joining us. And there cygan mentioned the buy-in is $20 and not 20€, but for me, it was 20€, maybe that's something that we should make clear too.

As far as I know, the issue isn't fixed so far. We just unregistered and reregistered without clicking the free rebuy. Hopefully Icopress gets things fixed before sunday, if not we may have to play with the error and everyone get the free rebuy up front.

$21.55 for me. During registration, we choose the currency... I chose the dollar, and some people like you chose the euro. In BTC it's the same. A similar confusion date from the first Betnomi series.

...I don't think there is problem for 10 players/PT(4Q), at least for this Sunday, it's not that difficult. The last time it was 20 players, although the GTD was another amount...

9 with me... and it's Wednesday. Just a few more players for +10. I believe we can make it...

Yeah this is what Im worried about as well.

I chose the dollar, and some people like you chose the euro. In BTC it's the same.

Its usd for me in betnomi balance but somehow its euro on my poker client but doesnt really matter


Anyway, We can always choose not to rebuy after we got knocked out to be fair even if the issue still retain when we play but some people could either misclick it later or some might not read about this but either way Im hoping that we could get the 1st game up without any issue

If there is no solution for the issue,no problem, we can impose some restriction for those who make more than one rebuy, for example  player wont't get points for that 1st game or something like that...

Abit harsh, another idea that I came up with is that we are all from bitcointalk so either icopress or cygan could probably send up some PM notification to all the registered players on not making any rebuy I guess. If somehow any of us misclick or whatsoever then probably we will ask the player to sit out for the rest of the tournament after they made the rebuy?

I think most people who have an account on bitcointalk and are playing in the tournament would probably comply with such a request. But what happens if someone plays who is not registered on bitcointalk? It wouldn't matter to him at all and he would perhaps use this option until he won the game. Since this possibility exists, I hope that the problem will be solved by sunday. That would just be the best. Otherwise the game could sink into chaos, which of course I hope not!

Yep, you need to re-register again. What I just did. We're 6 players now, so 4 more to go.

Seems the old tournament got deleted. It still looks somewhat broken, when you register. And there are still unlimited rebuys until the end of the tournament.

In addition to that the tournament structure changed. Blind levels aren't 8 minutes anymore, they are now 6 minutes and some 3 minutes levels before breaks. See here:

I don't care about the structure, but the current one will result in a shove fest pretty quickly (if you don't plan to take plenty of rebuys). I don't know if that's intended. If not, i would choose longer blind levels (e.g. 8/10/15 minutes or something like that) for the next tournaments.

Well, something is broken... I can't access poker, "404 Not Found". I hope that they will manage to sort out these issues, there is still time until the start of the tournament.

I have a question about the final table, not so important but I am curious. How many seats there will be at the final table? Or it depends on the number of players and will be decided later? I went through the thread but didn't find anything about this, maybe I missed it...

So, I arrived at the tournament late to play and there's no problem, I'm registered, but... anyway! thanks for the notice.

Although I think the organizers wanted 1 and 2 somehow.

At least now players have to pay for rebuys, but you make a good observation. If someone has a large bankroll, they can rebuy 100x until they build a stack. Even up to the final hand.

The blind levels and structure are things that will have to be toyed with. We went with 50k stacks and fast blinds in the previous series and allowed 1 rebuy i think. Usually wasn't a rebuy and the game lasted 2-3 hours. So the structure chosen might be to encourage rebuys? Could be other things but icopress can answer that.

secondly could you still clarify with betnomi about the unlimited re-buy?
our suggestion was that a re-buy would only be possible in the first 45 minutes. and i would also prefer to set the blind level structure to at least 8 minutes if not 10-12 minutes...

I asked, but did not receive an answer that would suit me. The problem is that it is impossible to make any changes to the game parameters only to register a new one. You clearly saw that the changes that were made were not made as quickly as we all would like, so I would leave it as it is for now.

I will reregister within the next couple of hours. I was hoping to see the rebuy thing fixed, but I think we can trust the current players not to be morons. Looks like we will have 12-15 players for the game.

@icopress sorry to hear about your appointment but I am glad you got checked out before it got worse.
