We were down by a point but have turned it around to lead by 1. Arsenal started the night with their clean sheet. Another masterclass from Ode, accomplished play from everyone else. We should have won by 3 or 4, but if we had it increases the chance of conceding as Napoli push higher and we get a little complacent. The Seahawks completed the turnaround.

I can call it a draw now, cause I just noticed my error in the second H2H question, I will surely be losing the points there, the team will be hoping to make up for that error in the other question with a different answer.

Well, you started with a one point lead. Too bad for me that Inter couldn't score one more goal. Match stats say that they played a good game, but Real was better. That first half was a nightmare, but at least the deficit is back to one point after locking down the Como question.

I tend to forget about the LMS on the start of each season. I never take LSM serious because I'm never good at it. To me our duel is much more important, but I'm currently losing 0-2. And I think that you may have already start celebrating because I just found out that Rybakina won against Gauff so the tennis question will also go your way. Apart from that question, we have only 2 more different so I'm definitely losing this round. I can only hope to score three points to stay in the LMS. Man... I'm the only one with zero points in LMS so far...

I absolutely agree Division 1 teams are not Division 1 teams without a reason and this will be my biggest challenge so far in BSFL.
Then again this could also work in my favor since I'm the underdog in almost all matches

Wouldn't be nice of me to support a possible relegation of a friend so I'll have to decline. I wasn't really serious about it anyway. I know how good you are with your predictions so I doubt you will be anywhere near the relegation zone. May be we'll think of something else to bet on.

Yesterday, I got lucky because RB Leipzig managed to score another goal after all, which means the draw still stands. We have a lot of identical predictions, so West Ham will probably decide our week. That is the only major difference between our picks. However, if Wrexham avoid defeat, I should have the advantage, at least if I understood everything correctly, especially since Gauff has already been eliminated from the US Open. This could turn out to be a very important factor in the final outcome.

Good news for my team!

Thanks to a great performance from Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya and his teammate Martin Ødegaard, Arsenal managed to beat Napoli without conceding a goal.

A little later, Seattle pulled off a crazy comeback against the Patriots, which helped my team pick up a very important point, especially considering that the match had a low total.

According to my calculations, my opponent has the same answers as me in every category except H2H. That means I managed to get the win in Round 1 of the BSFL championship!

The opening match is always very important, and starting the season with a win gives you extra strength and confidence for the whole season!

Seriously I didn’t know what got into me when I picked under 3.5 with both team to score, I was really pissed the even before the Como - Leipzig match started because I was convinced that the game will be likely more than 3.5 due to how COMO are a free scoring team. Immediately the third goal went in, I knew that question was well gone,  this would have put me in a better advantage, hopefully I get the Wrexham not to lose correct, I hope West Ham doesn’t choose today of all days to play well.

I need Wrexham to man up tonight for big results. Rybakina winning got me points in that H2H as well but West Ham can still push me back a lot if they win with 1 goal.

To paraphrase the famous Seinfeld line: "if every instinct about Championship game results you have is wrong, then the opposite must be right." So, just choose the answer opposite to the one you actually want. The "opposite" tactic changed George's life and it might do the same for you when it comes to the Championship.  

But yeah, it's a bitch to guess anything related to it. If Wrexham don't lose tonight, I'll start the season with a loss. But if West Ham wins with handicap, then I even have a chance win this, depending on how F1 part of h2h question ends.

This is one of the games that the outcome really got me surprising. COMO was never the best team to have won that match despite doing well to earn a qualification to the champions league. RB Leipzig was the favourite but I wasn’t still expecting much goal from them but at least a win over COMO. They really dealt with me on this but I’m still hoping on the remaining five questions to get an edge over my opponent as we are still tied in the first five questions. This is really a tough start to my debut on BSFL.

Beginners luck perhaps, It is the very first Champions League as a club, and as expected, they must have put in a lot of effort in preparation, so a good performance was very much expected. The challenge for them now is not just starting like this but about maintaining this very good start to the competition and ensuring that even if they do not win the competition, they can go on and finish at a point they can be proud of.

Como plays Feyenoord next in an away fixture of the UCL; they can win that too.

If this ends in a draw, well, it's ok, the hedge is quite worth it. Winning against West Ham away from home was too unrealistic for me and the draw had significantly higher odds obviously.

I also need to hedge against Hhampuz, I have it easy though. He needs Antonelli to win and United to win - so I'm looking at odds close to 10.
I'd win more money if I lose the sidebet but there's nothing better than rubbing it in so I do hope I win it.

According to Oddsportal, the odds for Como to win were around 1.7, while they were around 4.5 for Leipzig to win, which means that sportsbook gave Como a higher chance of winning.
