After the first three rounds, I’ve finally managed to secure my first point. This week, I’m hoping for a bit more luck and aiming to grab my first full win. At the top of Division 2, only Ulven still boasts a flawless record with 9 points, impressive  .

What really surprises me, though, is that despite my rather modest performance so far, I’m still hanging on in LMS and haven’t been knocked out yet. Sometimes, persistence pays off

Finally got a first win. Wasn't easy, but I can't remember when I got something easy on BSFL.

He was definitely rolling on his bed and throwing things to the wall the whole time watching that game - he loves to statpad in games like that one.

I forgot which one of his ex teammates from Real (maybe van der Vaart?) said that he was pissed off after the game his team won like 5:0 if he didn't score, so I can only imagine the show that was going on wherever he was watching that game.

Unpopupal opinion - IMO Portugal now is better without Ronaldo. No disrespect, but he is 40 old man playing in farmers league and long time beyond his prime. Yes, he is still good, still scoring goals, but I think he can't have big role in team which has big ambitions. When game doesn't goes well for him, he can do things what he did against Ireland. After all, Portugal have great generation of players andthey can achieve big things.

Yesterday, I tried to place a free bet by phone. I wanted to bet on over 1.5 goals in the first half of the Nigeria-DR-Congo match, but I couldn't. And as it turned out, there were two goals in the first half. Unfortunately, luck wasn't on my side.😔

I am saying that for a long time now. He is still great player but Portugal looks better without him. They are very talented nation and when you put 11 guys that all run and work like a team you get better result then with Ronaldo at the top. Problem is, he is not a player you can keep on the bench and give him 20 minutes. If he were, Portugal would be among top favorites for WC.

One that jumps on the bench and gives advice to other players and then comes on for last 15-20 minutes and finishes the job if it is needed. Of course, then it wouldn't be Ronaldo. His personalty is the thing that drove him to such greatness.

Season 8 I have 2 wins both because my opponents fail to submit their replies now I have challenging round league topper is against me and this is much needed win for me because if I am able to win surely this will give good confidence.

Happy I am still in for LMS because its never been easy to survive but this time I am having good opportunity and want to stay in for as long as I can this round is looking not easy due to some tense questions, but hopefully all will be good @ajanwalker good luck.

This seems to be a very popular opinion. I agree heavily when it comes to the lack of workrate, tracking back and sacrificing for the team (not individual glory), he comes up short but for overall attacking play he is still decent and has way more experience that their other attacking options. You will assume his experience will prevent him from getting red cards like that, but alas, that is not the case. He should definitely not be playing in majority of the game time at his age.

I was watching some highlights from the Saudi league and with the number of money spent it is ridiculous how below par the level of play is.

Yup, agree on all fronts. He said he's better than Ronaldo almost 20 years ago and everybody was laughing at him - he had that conviction since the beginning.
He's like a football version of Đoković in a way - people continue to doubt him and he just keeps on doing his thing.

Shame that he's bigger than the rest of the team though - Portugal has some incredible players.
They don't even need a classic forward - they can play either with a false 9 or with a 10 that drops deep so that wingers can play more advanced. But all of that is impossible with Ronaldo in the first 11.

I was quite embarrassed by the results of the third round, even though I got 3 points, but that was because my opponent didn't provide an answer, and that result wasn't enough to save me from the LMS. So, if my opponent had submitted an answer, I would have lost.

I submittee my answer and looked at the spreadsheet to see that many people hadn't submitted their answers yet. It was best to do so immediately, as there was nothing to wait for.
